Stayed one night. Good things are: clean, bed, look of hotel, staff, room ok even if minimalist. Not so good things: room cold and despite having a double bed, I didn't have a double quilt. Unable to ask for more blankets once in bed as no phone in room. Breakfast is a shambles, by half 8 no juice left, no tray to carry your stuff and sitting area very limited. Sushi place next to it to highly recommended.

I stayed for two nights from Thursday till Saturday last week and I can highly recommend the hotel to travellers as well as business people. This hotel, as usual with Motel One, offers a clean hotel room, neat, comfy, simple... The personell helps you with standard enquiries like city map and information about the surrounding and things to see. The Internet is working well, though the WiFi is not password protected - you need user name and password to access the WiFi, those are provided on the ... Read more

Having travelled for years it was one of the first times that I stayed in a hotel providing so little for its customers. For instance there is no mini bar, no telephone to connect to the reception and theefore no way of having a wake up call. Probably it is some kind of Ryainair concept for a hotel. I don't know the price since I was invited by a company for my business trip. The room was very small but clean with nice view. Breakfast was also OK but there were no proper tables since the self se... Read more

This was my first stay at a Motel One and I really like it. Motel One is most interesting for what it doesn't do: there is no restaurant, you eat in the lobby which is the heart of the hotel. The rooms have no telephones but designer lamps, assuming guests have mobile phones and a desire for style. The WiFi is fast and free. The layout of the room is smart which is a good thing as I hear that they are the same in every Motel One in every city. Take your average hotel, strip away what has be... Read more

Your standard Motel One room. Bed was hard as a rock, which meant I did not sleep very well. Breakfast was OK but why not include it in the room price. Nice lounge/bar area. Location is 10-15 minutes walk from city centre.

A friend recommended this hotel. I needed a hotel to stay in Cologne. Normally I always stay in 5star hotels.. I really have to say this hotel is great. Location is right in the centre. Very friendly staff. Rooms are nice/ clean. Good bed. Rooms are small, but so is the price. Great shower, lots of water pressure. Nice scented soap. Breakfast is a supplement of â?¬9.50 What's definitely worth it. Everything you need is there on the buffet. And constantly refreshed. An absolute recommendation... Read more

Motel One Koln-Waidmark is a truly superb hotel with an exceptional level of service. It is also easy to find. The breakfast choice was absolutely incredible. Great value for money. Would truly recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights last bank holiday weekend. Where the hotel itself is quite nice and modern in decor, there are a few issues need addressing. The rooms are small so be aware. It's more a quick stop off hotel than a holiday resort. There is no wardrobe just some small shelves one side of the bed and a few hangers on the other. No tea/coffee facilities. No phone so room service is not available. We asked for an iron the day we arrived but we're told they were all out so none available. ... Read more

For a two night business trip, this hotel was ideally located near the center of town, with good access to ground transportation. Large modern lobby and open bar area, good elevator service considering the hotel appears to have over 400 rooms. The rooms are all the same footprint, some facing the Tel Aviv Strasse and others a quieter back street. The room was at most 120 SF in size, not including the bathroom, which was tight but efficient. There is no closet, but a number of open rails with hang... Read more

This is a good business hotel, the staff is excellent and helpful. Reaching here is pretty easy but you might have to walk say 10 mts. The rooms are small, but good enough for a single or a couple max. If you're travelling with a big family wouldn't suggest. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is just basic with no cooked food except boiled eggs, but you have a lot of eateries around with just 10 - 20 mts walk around can give you all kind of cuisines. Suggestions to the manag...
