Located only 10-15 minute walk from the dom, this is a perfect hotel for a citytrip to the Christmas markets in Koln. Nice and quiet hotel, small bathroom, but definitely value for money. Also very cheap parking in the nearby streets.

The location is excellent - 15min walk to Koln HBF. Unfortunately, not next to any tram or bus the closest you can get to the hotel is 10min walk away (or by taxi). We got rooms on 3rd elevator so had to hike up with suitcases. Tiny room but tastefully done. No fridge/coffee/bar etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As with most European old cities, paths n roads are stonned so wear good sneakers!

There was really nothing wrong with the establishment but the place is in need of a revamp and the wifi didn't work very well in our room. The staff were friendly though and the location ideal, close the the train stop and 15 minute walk from the centre of the city.

A couple of items up front: the staff is polite and the hotel and rooms are really clean. The location isn't bad with access to the underground rail close by and the Old Town a 15-minute walk away. There is also no AC but that's actually a common thing in Cologne outside of the largest global franchise hotels. My main problem is the low quality of sleep: - with no AC, opening the window is necessary but the street gets very noisy in the morning and during the day (a room on the other side of t... Read more

When we arrived here we waited 15 minutes at the front door ringing the bell. The cleaner opened the door to us then up a flight of stairs to wait for another person to slowly emerge from a back room. We were told we had to pay the whole cost of the stay plus city tax upfront for our stay, which is a way of you not being able to leave and stay somewhere else. We would of taken one look in the room and left. There was no kettle and when we asked for one, you would of thought I had twenty heads...... Read more

My single room was clean and had a shower, towels, a tv with a wc outside. The guy on reception was amiable enough if not that chatty. Free wifi which worked everywhere. Key to the front door so you can be as late back as you want. The hotel is located about 15/20 min walk from the central station but plenty of shops and a few bars and restaurants very nearby. Nearest U Bahn underground is about five mins away. For £25 a nice clean budget room.

Nice little hotel but very basic but reflected by the price. Stayed with my teenage son for a Bundesliga football visit and had room 16, with twin beds. No kettle provided and was on first floor at front and directly outside of the window was the hotel sign which was fully illuminated at night making the room very light so if you struggle to sleep this may be a problem. Best thing about the room was the shower which had ample hot water. It is approx 20mins walk from Cologne HBF (central railway... Read more

Advantages: free Internet with very good signal; towels are changed every day as well as the room is cleaned every day; there is a small fridge where you can store some food. Disavantages: there are no stairs...they have 5 floors; ther is no microwaves.

The hotel is in a great location for a short stay in Cologne. Basic, but it has everything you need. We stayed in room # 1 which even had a small kitchenette hidden in one of the closets! Clean and a small bathroom, but I would definately stay there again for a short city break.

This hotel is in a nice neighbourhood about a 20 minute walk from the cathedral and other central attractions. There are plenty of surrounding bars and restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. The hotel in general was fine but very basic, we arrived after the check in deadline but they somehow managed to let us in and get us a key to our room thankfully. The staff were friendly and spoke good English therefore I would probably stay here again if I come back to visit Cologne
