Decent location and within easy walking distance to most attractions. Modern, clean, and well presented. We had a studio on the ground floor at the back of the building facing out on to a communal lawn area. Although it was a studio, there was a sliding door between the kitchen area and the sleeping area - not that we used it. The kitchen was set up well for a holiday apartment - hob, decent sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher etc. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and efficient. There's als... Read more

The Hotel Adagio is in the center of the old town (alt Stadt) which is the perfect place for everything. Although Köln is a rather big city, it is not crowded at all. Many touristical targets are nearby, which wouldn't be a big shot by itself if the alt Stadt wouldn't be a giant mosaic made from shops, cafés, restaurants and a strangely exciting multicultural cauldron of people from around the world. The Hotel is well equipped, stylish and relaxing. I really liked the interior and the dark br... Read more

I have been here twice for a total of three weeks. The room is nice and large, the staff is very helpful and it is a short walk to all areas of Cologne. The negatives.. It was 75 degrees and the AC was crap. The Windows open so it was beautiful in the room. However, DO NOT stay on the street side bc of the noise from the street side. Also, the Internet is horrible. It never really works to even check/send email let alone streaming any media. Almost all tv is in German so Netflix is great for... Read more

This hotel is close to the U-Bahn station Poststr., just two stations away from the Köln Hauptbahnhof. It is not so far to walk to the Hauptbahnhof, either, along the shopping street Hohe Strae, which is actually a fun thing to do. It is an apartment hotel, so there is a kitchen in the room. It is nice if you would like to cook something when you're staying there. And there is a supermarket and several restaurants close to the hotel.

It's a very spacious apartment studio with modern furnishings. The room is well decorated and very comfortable. You have the option to cook your own meals or eat in nearby restaurants. There is a great supermarket a block away from the hotel. You can also do laundry with a coin-operated washing machine & dryer. The staff are super friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations. Breakfast is standard. Wifi speed is limited. I purchased the premium version but it still isn't... Read more

The hotel is very central - a maximum 10 minute walk to most attractions. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were good with everything you could want included. Breakfast was ok but very expensive and not worth the price. Free wifi which was good most of the time. Beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly

I didn't stay at that hotel. But I was alone in Cologne and the person organizing the trip didn't book a room anywhere for me the first night I arrived. Went there looking for a room, the receptionist helped me find a room at a nearby hotel online cause they were fully booked, he phoned the new hotel and booked the room, phoned a taxi to drive me, and wrote the directions to the taxi driver. All of that and he was going through a tough afternoon! Don't know what he might have done had he been h... Read more

Parking is available under ground, 15 euros though but very secure. We booked as a family of 4 and had two doubles. The kitchen was not that well equipped but was sufficient for carving up a pizza we got from across the way. Decent clean and professional over night accom.

Stayed for 2 nights for a city break to explore Cologne. We arrived at 11am, I think check-in was actually 15.00 but thought we would just drop our bags off but it turned out our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading out again which was great! The guy on reception was so friendly, probably some of the best customer service I have ever received. He took the time to explain our location and where all the city attractions were, all with a smile and friendly attitude-a lovely w... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights. First the good: - great location. very close to city centre where all the shopping is - big rooms. unexpectedly large - surprisingly quiet even thou on main street - price is very fair The average: - wifi SUX. worse than dial up. Worst wifi I've had anywhere. Couldn't get signal in parts of the room. This alone would be a reason not to stay here again. - breakfast really poor. Stale eggs. Very poor offering of dishes. 13E. You must be joking - no coffee in room.... Read more

We stayed in Cologne only for one night because of a concert, and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room was quite large with big windows facing the street and a unique style making the room seem more â??at homeâ??. The bed was a sofa in the daytime, but we didnâ??t feel that affected our sleeping quality. A very convenient aspect of the room was the kitchen corner, fully updated with a modern stove, microwave, freezer and refrigerator. We didnâ??t make any food, but as far as we could... Read more

We're a group of 9 travelling around Europe together. We booked this property over 3 months prior to leaving on our holiday. The hotel confirmed the booking & charged the credit card straight away. 3 days prior to our arrival the Adagio Hotel, a 4 star establishment, emailed & said they had overbooked & would now be moving us to the Ibis Hotel away from the city centre and out near the airport, which is a 2 star establishment. This did not suit us at all as we were only going to be in Cologne fo... Read more
