I just spent 4 nights at the Kameha Grand, April 12 - 16, and I have to say the staff was tremendous and my room was kept in perfect condition. I am not a demanding traveler but I do ask for things now and again and the Kameha Grand delivered. First, I showed up close to midnight on April 12 after traveling from the West Coast of the USA and there were not many rooms open at that late hour. I got to my very nice room only to see two single beds, which I have not slept in in more years than I... Read more

Visited this hotel on a two a conference. The architecture is very modern-chic and the interior is similarly modern and dramatic - lots of red and black. Big conference and public areas - great for a conference. Checkin in was quick and painless (receptions stood at individual pods with tablets. My room (on the 4th floor) overlooked the public areas (rather than the river/mountains) but was spacious , clean, modern and had all mod cons. A nice ensuite with spacious shower. TV channels were limit... Read more

Doesn't matter why you're in Bonn - go there! Have a look inside and maybe a drink or two in one of the bars and restaurants. If you like fancy and stylish hotel rooms - stay here! The staff is great, the atmosphere absolutely relaxing and everything seems to be possible there.

The most exclusive thing which i can mention about this hotel is, that there is a moon over the bed which you can switch on. I had never seen that before. The rooms are modern still the red wallpaper all over the hotel let me feel like not very comfortable. The choice of breakfast is large, still in the evening it is not much you can get if the main restaurant is reserved for some event. You can get the salad in the bar in the lobby but it is too small and weird place to sit. The choice is not b... Read more

I was here for two nights on business and it was a quirky and unique hotel with comfortable bedding, free wifi, room service and great check in service and the overall general customer service was excellent. The room was lovely, interesting and innovative layout, and very peaceful - perfect for a great nights sleep. Lovely shower too. I ordered room service and the staff were very polite and food delicious. Great selection of food and drinks too. Would visit again

This is a hotel visit that you will remember. Definitely a high class hotel with a beautiful location. It is not as luxorious as it feels. But the creativity and innovative solution make you feel it is super. And that is how it should be. Different in a memorable and positive way. Definitively worth to experience. Although the hotel is not in the city centre it is eady to reach. Taxi is cheap and the riverboats stop outside the hotel.

Stayed here for a conference. Very comfortable hotel though quite quirky decor. Hotel corridors are all red including the walls ceiling and carpet! Slightly odd. Wonderful massive plant pots in the courtyard. Nice views over the river. I would have given 5 stars but we had a meal in the lovely little mountain hut on the terrace and my colleague's ribs were not fully defrosted. Staff very helpful. Rooms v pleasant.

Finally a business hotel with personality starting with the architecture and right into the design of every feature of public spaces and rooms. Design by Marcel Wanders in a mix of Modern Alice in Wonderland meets Philippe Stark. Very well done. Convenient location on the banks of the Rhine, easy access from high way and a stone throw from centre Bonn, yet outside of town in the middle of green and a new high tech park.

I stayed here for one night during a business trip in the area. The hotel was in a conveniently located close to the city sitting on the banks of the river. It has underground parking leading up to the reception where you can find large open areas with bar and dining facilities. The room I was given was of a very good size having modern decoration, well equipped and comfortable. I had a meal in the restaurant which was of a good standard. At breakfast there was a very good selection of tasty fo... Read more

Because some of my colleagues prefer to stay in Kameha above other hotels in the Bonn region, I stay also from time to time in Kameha. But every single time several things go wrong, either with myself and/or with my colleagues. Now again : check in took (as usual) a lot of time, TV not working in none of the rooms because of problems with a new router ("we don't think we will solve the problem today") Marc Hendrickx - VP Sales & Marketing Maxion Wheels Europe, Asia, Africa

Two nights at the Kameha. The hotel has a very unusual decor throughout, but everything is done in style. Rooms are spacious and modern with some nice touches like doorbells, a moon over the bed. Staff are good and friendly. Very quiet rooms, some with river views. Food is good - we had lunch at the riverside brasserie as well as drinks and club sandwich at the bar. Not cheap, but tasty. Room prices are quite good for this grade of hotel. Overall a very nice hotel, great for business.

Very Lovely and modern Hotel, friendly personell , Rooms very clean and Spacious. They could offer a large variety of selections at the Breakfast Buffet but it was okay. The Bar is very welcoming and Cosy, Cocktails were good and the Bar Keeper very Attentiv. I would highly recommend it and i'm looking forward to my Next stay there

The husband and I stayed at the Kameha Grand for two nights (Friday to Sunday). We arrived by cab from the local airport. The building is a rather futuristic looking construction, which reminds me of a train station. Upon arrival one sees a chap - clearly employed by the hotel - who looks suspiciously like a porter. Only, he isn't. He just looked on with a certain amount of curiosity how the husband and I retrieved our bags from the cab and lugged them inside. We arrived early and were happy to... Read more

Have stayed here a number of times and it is a top class hotel. However I seem to be unlucky on this visit. I noticed on arrival in my room and old style push button phone. When I wanted to order room service I realised there were no speed dial options and no directory for numbers. I used my mobile to call hotel main number and told lady about phone and was completely ignored. When I returned to hotel day 2 there was no new phone or list of helpful numbers. I again told reception but got ... Read more

Great place on river front. Great style of the whole hotel and rooms. Large room.My room 284 has a inside looking Window front. Better ask for a river or garden view. My raffstore did not close completely so he to see the light from the hall all night. Aside from this - I will come back again. Check some pics... Pro: sleep under the moon. Con: strange lady on the shower wall.

We stayed at Kameha for two nights in a premium room. The check-in process was reasonably hassle free, we decided to use the Valet parking which costs 20 Euros/day. The alternative was to use the parking next to the hotel which would cost about the same. Kameha Grand is a modern hotel with a very "interesting" decor. Staff are friendly and helpful but at times service was not up to standards for a 5 star hotel. We ordered room service which took about an hour to arrive and we had to call a cou... Read more

A higher end hotel featuring modern design. May work for some, however, my stay was marred by design details that show poor execution and lack of thought about guest comfort. The facts: Arrived at 10:30pm after a long day of travel. Just wanted a good night's sleep. Power in the room is accessed by a keycard. Prior to guest's arrival a card is placed in the correct slot (a good thing). However, the lighting was so low it was effectively completely dark. Could not see a thing except for a... Read more

The first word that came to my mind when entering the lobby from the parking lot was "bordello." Gigantic red lights and other equally huge, very odd decorative elements greet you. Check-in was very efficient. The rooms are high-tech beyond all reason: a panel full of buttons controls lighting and temperature, but nothing is at all clear in how you are supposed to operate it. Drawers are at a minimum. The towel racks and grab bars in the bathroom are all chrome and straight-edged, which means ... Read more

I really liked his hotel, the decor has to be seen it's so overdone, and yes the word bordello does come to mind. Being on the river is great for a morning walk. The breakfast and lunches were very good. Overall an interesting place for a business meeting.
