Check-in was at 3pm as hotel had been full the night before. Luggage was kept in a storage room, so out I went for a walk and when I returned at 245pm I was able to check-in. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, small bathroom which was also very clean. Complimentary wifi, which was very good. A mini bar and flat screen tv rounded out the room amenities. Very good buffet breakfast was offered in the morning, there was a large variety of foods to choose from. Three complaints I have regarding... Read more

Everything went rather well as soon as you don't mind that the hotel finishing looks rather outdated and pillows are pretty basic. I also would only suggest that the staff at the reception behaves in a bit more warmer way, without that stereotypical German polite detachment, especially when a guest has to fill this appalling check-in form required by local bureaucrats. One more thing: free parking in the block around the hotel came as a nice surprise - it's something you don't expect to find in ... Read more

We stayed here for 1 night, was hard to find it. Very old styled building and furnitures. Was expecting a little bit more from the brand Mercure. Staff didn't really have an impressive customer service. But it was convinient and clean for the price just what you need.

We were in room 611 and found it to be well sited. The hotel was warm and friendly. Well maintained and clean. The breakfast was ex Ellen's with a very good choice of food. The area where it was situated made getting around easy.. Would definitely stay there again.

Booked this hotel with the expectation of the usual good standard of the Mercure Brand but was very disappointed. Rooms were very very dated and showed plenty of signs of wear. Very few power sockets in the room. No air conditioning in the room and there were several mosquitos in the room when I arrived. Breakfast was very poor - some hot items which appeared to be an afterthought and what cold items (fruit salad etc) they had were very poorly stocked. Hotel was very noisy, room doors were very ... Chose this hotel for specific location for being able to see friends who lived locally. Added benefits of ease of access from Tegel Airport. Small reception area with helpful staff. Bedrooms are very compact but absolutely fine if you do intend to be out all day. Beds are comfortable, bathroom a decent size with a great shower. Windows do open so fresh air if you need it inside your room!

We stayed for two weeks in this hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and and a well equipped bathroom. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold options and excellent coffee. The hotel is located 10 minute walk from the Nollendorfplatz Uban station which has most of the underground lines running through it. About 15 minutes walk is a major shopping area which has several big name stores.

Great location in the heart of the gay area. Friendly & helpful reception staff who speak excellent English. Room large & spacious but cosy at the same time. Decor simple and modern with beautifully tiled bathroom. Tea & coffee in room replenished daily. Comfy bed and fresh linens daily. Really cannot recommend this hotel enough. Great value for money!

I stayed at the Mercure Zentrum for a long weekend in September. The temperature was in the high 20's / low 30's, and my room didn't have air conditioning, despite paying extra for a "superior room". The security window only opened a fraction so didn't let in much breeze, while letting in all the outside noise. Wifi worked very intermittently, and when I highlighted this on a couple of occasions the hotel staff asked what floor I was on and just sort of shrugged. Not great considering it's the... Read more
