We stayed 4 nights from the 2nd December 2016. From the moment we arrived with the Doorman greeting us by name to the wonderful receptionist (unfortunately I forget her name) I can make absolutely no complaint. The receptionist noticed that it was my husbands birthday the next day, which was the reason we chose to come over and surprised him with a birthday cake on the day. We visited the German Christmas markets and the usual tourist sites. The hotel is wonderfully located by the Brandenburg... Read more

Service is top notch. However an air of an impersonal or a bit cold attitude was sensed most probably that most of the personnel were young and maybe needing more orientation. We liked the room very much, it is of would have been nicer if it was a bit bigger though. Location is brilliant especially that the s+u train station is just steps away from the entrance and with access to the special 2 minutes U55 direct to Berlin main train station. The spa and pool are a gem. The breakfast is not to be... Read more

We visited the hotel for refreshments and were treated to excellent service during our short stay. The hotel has superb staff and its lobby area is appointed to the highest standards- it is a very impressive hotel.

Stayed during a prolonged New Year??s ?? weekend. The hotel is a classic, though, a typical 5-star metropolitan hotel, i.e. common areas are really nice, great staff, good breakfast, but the hotel rooms rarely live up to the expectations, and are perhaps in need of an upgrade/refurbishment. I lost my suitcase during flight transfer, and the staff was extremely helpful providing me with the necessities, and even ran some errands for me before the shops closed on New Year??s. Especially the Rec... Read more

The Adlon is fantastically luxurious, but it is also trying to be too clever.. for instance: - temperature controls built into the hotel drawer that actually did not work... the engineer had to re-boot them, and even then the degree of temperature control was poor - putting all the hotel directory on an ipad.. great idea if you are familiar with ipads, hopeless if you are not... and pointless if the i-pad battery is so overused that as soon as you unplug it, it dies - black buttons all over the... My partner and I stayed in the Adlon hotel from 24th to 27th December 2016 for a Christmas break. This was our first time in this hotel, however, we have visited Berlin many times for both work and leisure. The hotel itself is beautiful, the communal areas excellent following on from the refurbished lobby and bar and the Christmas decorations very tasteful. Our room was on the 5th floor, very large and had a walk in wardrobe, separate toilet and sink to the main bathroom, lovely small sitting ar... Read more

This is the historic hotel in Berlin, located right by the Brandenberg gate. Rooms are handsome and self-consciously luxurious. I especially liked the TV console hidden in a bench at the foot of my bed. Everything is done with care and pride. Breakfast is superb. I stay here whenever I am in Berlin.

The Hotel is totally reconstructed in modern style, but in a functional and stylish way, without being overloaded by that vulgar luxury for nouveaux riches. The hall, the rooms, the big and decorated spa are superb, comfortable, wide, devoid of noise. The service is quick and kind. There are, however, bodyguards in the corridors for Arabian people who do not allow the privacy of guests and from the TV it has been cancelled the Israeli TV, which is really not acceptable (it has been done to please... We arrived at the Adlon late on a Thursday afteroon, after dealing with the loss of our luggage by our airline. Our check in clerk informed one of the concierges of the problem during the check in, and he immediately came over to the desk to get and copy our claim information so that the staff could keep track of the luggage. Through the day, and until the luggage was delivered our room door, the staff made certain they knew what was its status and kept us informed. The room was exceptionally a... Read more

Amazing entrance right next to the Brandenburg Gates, hotel receptionist was superb and we were sorted very quickly, luggage was in our room and room turned down when we went back to the hotel a number of hours later. Spa facilities were good and worth taking costumes/trunks for. My only little criticism would be is that yes it's a luxury hotel but when busy we couldn't get coffees brought to us in the reception area and there is no facilities in your room to make a hot drink. Prices for mini b... Read more
