The Hotel Adlon is located on Unter den Linden about 100 metres from the Brandenburg Gate and is about as central as you can get. The hotel has a long history, sadly it was badly damaged in WWII and the exterior has been faithfully restored and looks like the original. The interior has had a total refit and has just about every modern amenity you might need. Service & rooms are excellent. Even if you are not staying at the hotel it is well worth while stopping by for afternoon tea with all the t... Read more

Absolutely incredible hotel! The best breakfast selection I‚??ve ever seen or even heard of, matched only by the fantastic restaurants. I only ate in two of them -Lorenz and Quarre, but they were both exceptional. Quarre was the more reasonably priced but slightly less grand of the two. I thoroughly enjoyed both courses (snails and veal) and the wine pairings suggested by our waiter were brilliant. Lorenz was everything you‚??d expect from a Michelin starred establishment. Excellent accommodations and service, but rather pretentious. Long hike to room in annex but I guess that's where the lesser mortals go. I cant comprehend spending $40+ for breakfast, and all foods and drinks were quite expensive too.

Stayed at the Adlon Hotel for 2 nights and can not complain at all. Staff at the lobby, restaurant and bar was very attentive and friendly. Given the history of the original hotel it can happen that non-hotel guests wander around the lobby and bar - however it did not really bother us as this happened during daytime and not necessarily in the morning, late afternoon or evening. I actually can recommend having a drink and snacks at the bar in the lobby. The live music and extremely attentive st... Read more

Great interior design with lovingly reinstated stained-glass domes, Carrara marble floors, mosaics, inlaid panelling and coffered ceilings. Grand, elegant and somewhat sedate (think: heads of state, rather than hipsters), service is efficient and there are three excellent restaurants‚??one of them Michelin starred. If you can drag yourself away, the location is tops for getting to know Berlin, overlooking the Brandenburg Gate and Pariser Platz. Thumbs up!

I stayed for a conference. The price per room was 250 eur excluding breakfast. The breakfast cost another 42 eur. The room was fine. Old charm with gadgets like iPad, flat screen and high tech light control. However, no fruits or not even small chocolate on the pillow. Maybe I am just too spoilt from Asia but these little pleasant surprises is what I expect from a top hotel. Unfortunately didn't had chance to have breakfast or go for swim. This is undoubtedly a very nice hotel and it is in an excellent location in the heart of Berlin. When I booked a four night stay I was surprised at the price. From time to time my wife and I have a weekend in London staying at Claridges or, more often, The Landmark. For the same grade of room as we had at The Adlon we pay quite a lot more at The Landmark. We stayed in January in this hotel for 2 nights. The staff were extremely attentive, helpful and polite. The room was really spacious, clean and well designed, although just a little bit worn-out. The double bed was two single beds that were placed beside each other and sometimes movements on the bed created a space between them. Other than these issues it was really nice. And of course you can't beat the location.

Location is obviously perfect, at the end of Unter den Linden, right beside the iconic Brandeburg Gate. The hotel lobby is brand new (actually some work is still ongoing as of early September 2016, as the business center was provisionally moved to the second floor). Breakfast area was moved to the mezzanine, very spacious and with great outside and inside views - by the way, breakfast is luxurious (four types of caviar, anyone?). The Adlon is perfect. We stayed only one night but wanted to be there forever. A super start was bumping in to Angela Merkel in the lobby when we arrived! Check in was easy and the staff very friendly. Location is right by Brandenburg gate, so a bit touristy, but the u-Bahn station right outside is ideal. I last stayed at the hotel Adlon 6 years ago for one night. As l left on this occasion the doorman remembered my name. From a five minute conversation 6 years ago! It's hard to put into words how amazing this is! A lot of my reviews on here are quite negative but that's only because when you experience excellence you realise how depressingly lazy most hotels/airlines/staff generally are. The Adlon is a rare example of beauty and excellence. I love it.
