My friend recommended this place to me. It locates in a historic building in Mitte near Alexanderplatz. Room is boutique style with shower area in the bedroom without door so not sure it's good for friends to share same room. Toilet is separate in another room. They have kitchenette also. I think room is quite nice except the shower in room which I don't like. Area near hotel is the best. Lots of great shops and restaurants around Hackescher Markt.

It was our second time in this hotel (First was 2011) and we didn't regret it. The location is great. Quiet street close to Alex (which isn't worth visiting for much more then a quick look if it's your first time). More interestingly it's walking distance to Hackische Höfe and pretty much all of Mitte and even Prenzlauer Berg. We pretty much walked everywhere. There also is a bike rental station just outside. The horrible bed in this hotel is the absolute worst and the cause of two sleepless nights I experienced while there. The mattress, pillows and sheets are horrendous and overshadow any stylish design the hotel might have. I will say the location is very good and the hotel is stylish (to the eye), but the quality of finishes leaves a lot to be desired. There are NO english channels on the TV, so they might as well not have any TVs. There is no A/C so avoid it in summertime. Oh.... And our room wa... Read more

Really enjoyed my stay here... I had a really spacious room, despite it being one of the smaller ones the hotel offers. The style is very simplistic and nicely laid out. There is a really nice Vietnamese restaurant downstairs that does breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a cute cafe on the other side selling all sorts of nice little things. The staff were really friendly and helpful... Very centrally located!!

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. Felt welcomed as soon as we walked into the reception area to book in. Arrived earlier than the booking in time BUT no problem , our reservation was immediately searched on the system and given our keys to enter our room. Lovely big room with sofa and kitchenette area. We didnt have any of the bottles of wine in our room as they were very expensive. Instead we bought our own in a local shop. The attached restaurant the 'Prince' served fantastic fantastic breakfast... Read more
