Good location, excellent helpful staff, very clean and professional. On a negative I booked a double room but got two singles pushed together "All are the same Sir " ok but the the booking should say that! The spa area disappointingly small, no steam room, no pool, small sauna, no customers sky has no atmosphere etc. Overall though very good b

We have just spent 4 nights at this hotel. The location is very good, quiet but within 10 minutes walk of the bars, restaurants and shops of Alexanderplatz and a further 20 minutes walk to the main attractions. The rooms are very clean, well maintained and the staff polite and helpful. On the downside there is the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room and no fridge. We were aware of this before leaving home and bought a small travel kettle which worked fine but keeping milk fresh was... Read more

We booked Ramada hotle since it was in the Alexanderplaz area. It is within walking distance of many of the area attractions or better yet, just hope on a bus just across the street and go anywhere you wish. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We loved the heated bathroom floors, the speakers in the bathroom, all of the outlets the quietness and much more. Our room was immaculate and very well maintained. My only complaint would be the hairdryer. I could not put it on high to dry ... Read more

Location can't get any better. Breakfast was nice as well. Wifi wasn't great and rooms quite small, but you are in a big city. Gym quite basic. However, the price and value really can't be beat. Front desk could be a little more helpful. Restaurant for dinner was actually quite good and not that expensive.

Location is fantastic, less than 5 mins from the train station and trams. Staff on reception were pleasant and got us checked in quickly. The room itself although small was immaculate but perfectly adequate for a city break. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but went to a bakery (a kind of german style Greggs) right across from the back of the hotel which was lovely and budget friendly. Only slight niggle would be the fact that the hotel bar is not open until 6pm so if you come back from a d... Read more

Nice well designed city hotel. Clean rooms and beds. Small but well thought out space and cupboards. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. The person that checked me in was very nice and helpful. Even helping me with a baby and 3 large luggages up to the room. With a smile. The kettle that I asked for took an hour to get to my room and I had to call twice but that was the only hitch in our stay there. The breakfast is ?15 and is well worth it. Very good spread and i would recommend it. Wal... Read more

We were Staying here while other lads in the group were staying at The Cubes mitte. Ours was like a palace compared . We had a Jnr suite between two people and it was like having two rooms , The sofa bed was a little lumpy but can be forgiven as it was a sofa bed. Its right in the middle of Alexanderplatz right next to a shopping centre and near to all main transport , we had no problem getting round the whole of Berlin and to top it off there was a Huge Beer keller next door . My wife and I stayed for three nights at this hotel last weekend. The service at the hotel was excellent. The two young ladies that we dealt with at reception are a credit to the hotel. They happily provided us with any info that we wanted in terms of transport (taking the time to check on line and print route planners for our visit to Sachsenhausen and showing us the platforms etc), sites, tours and places to eat. I'm only sorry that we didn't get their names to refer to them specifically here.... Read more

We were both surprised and disappointed by how we were treated by this hotel. We arrived at the hotel and when we came to check in we were advised that our room was not ready, but we had been upgraded to a suite that would be available at 3 pm. We then took our 2 small children who had been up since 5 am and walked the streets of Berlin and then returned to the Ramada to pick up the keys to our suite. We were greeted by a particularly officious and unfriendly young lady who advised us that we h... Read more

I regret not trying the breakfast as everybody seems to be raving about it! The hotel itself - think about it as a more upmarket Holiday Inn style place. On the surface it is clean, sharp and to the point. The rooms are of similar layout - Bathroom near the door, perfectly adequately sized room, functional built in wardrobes. Then add the extra touches - nice decor, friendly attentive staff. The room itself had air conditioning, under floor heating in the bathroom (along with a ceiling speaker,... Read more

Well located hotel, close to Alexander Platz; however, the city is so big that any other area with good transport communications can be equally well located. We stayed in a Comfort handicapped room, and the bed is small, far too small. A bed of 140 cm. for two people is unacceptable in a 4-star hotel. Although the room is on the small side, there is enough space for a bigger bed. The bed is set close to one of the walls, leaving a mere space of 30 cm., which leaves more than enough room to han... We were up-graded from H2 next door and had a lovely double room, great facilities, quiet and a fabulous breakfast. The position of the hotel was ideal - lots of places to explore close by, the 100 bus outside, the nearby tram, underground and railway stations made it perfectly located. The air-con was the best gift ever!! My partner would have liked tea and coffee in the room without having to pay extra for it.. Overall, I would totally recommend it.

The hotel and rooms were clean & fresh. We stayed with a group of 8 friends across 4 rooms. Location was perfect for us, located right in Alexanderplatz, in the old East Berlin which enabled easy access to sights, trendy bars & restaurants and still an easy 30 minute walk to the Brandenburg gate. The rooms were small, therefore they contained two small single beds. The room is adequate given we were never planning to spend much time in them. Note: pillows are awful. The hotel was nice enough, clean and tidy with helpful staff. The location is OK its about 40 minutes to walk to Brandenburg Gate but there are city tour buses that run form really nearby. I think if I was to return I would pick somewhere a little but closer to the gate as there is more nightlife but I would recommend it was an enjoyable experience.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean, however on our third night we had a very strange and rather uncomfortable experience. The experience was rather weird and also wasn't dealt with very well by the hotel. We had requested a smoking room and smoked out of the window every night but on the thrid night as we came in after being out all day we opened the window to have a cigarette and there was a plastic coin, a train ticket and somebody's cigarette filters(they weren't ours as we use menthol). ... Again very modern, great and large shower area. - clean Cons: - very small room (at least the one we got) - a large bed and thats about it, almost zero additional space - no fridge - no teapot/kettle - poor view from the room

Good location, only 8 minutes to Alexanderplatz.. You can rent bikes straight in front of the hotel, which is ?12 per day. They have a good buffet breakfast with a lot of options. (If your breakfast is not included it's ?15 extra, a bit overpriced as u can get sandwiches for ?3.50-4) Very friendly and helpful staff.. Nice clean rooms, luggage storage... Breakfast a bit over priced at ?15 but wide selection of both hot and cold food on offer. A visit to Hofbrau Munchen Berlin, only a few doors up from the hotel is a must! Great atmosphere! You get your room cleaned every day if the timetable the cleaners follow suits You. Id est if your one hours daily rest is at that time You misted your cleaning. No fridges in the rooms so you have to arrange with the front desk to store your insulin. Didn't see any chemists and only one small supermarket nearby.
