My wife and I stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel Berlin TWICE in the same week: First, we stayed for 3 nights (in Room 4150 facing the inner courtyard and the circular, perhaps 5-story tall fish tank). We then took a side trip to Leipzig for a few days, and then returned to Berlin and the Radisson Blu for a second, 2-night stay (in Room 2117 -- an outside room). The hotel is ideally situated in the Mitte section of Berlin, on the river. Across the river from the Radisson is the island containing m... Read more

The hotel was a great venue for a business trip that I attended. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are the same. Welcoming staff and a great breakfast. Make sure you take the lift up the inside of the fish tank - high recommended!

I had stayed at another hotel in Berlin and had the opposite experience at the Radisson Blu Berlin. The location is great for site seeing--I was a few steps away from Museum Island. I was close to many major transport connections. My hotel room was superbly comfortable--I could have paid more for a room looking at the amazing aquarium or the Berliner Dom but I didn't. What I got it was a very clean, well appointed and comfortable place to stay. The other hotel that I stayed at in Berlin w... Read more

This is one of the best hotels i have visited. Once you step inside you will be surprised by the large lobby and the huge aquarium. At the front desk, they are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are big, very clean. The hotel is located in Mitte street which is the place to be. Close to many historical sites and to the shopping street. Here was East Berlin..

Service was poor, nobody answered phones for room service. Lack of local knowledge. Food was mediocre at best. Hotel charged credit card twice for the stay. Would not stay again or recommend this hotel

We were upgraded to a junior suite - great room only negative was no balcony or view. Really comfortable with excellent breakfast (outside looking at the DOM). The pool and spa were compact but good . Bathroom excellent. Bar is great fun with the giant aquarium. We had excellent room service on one night. Location really is fab 5 mins from Alexanderplatz. Conceierge was really helpful too.

We stayed here for our city break. The hotel is lovely - clean, good food options and friendly staff with the added bonus on the mesmerising Aqua Dom! Make sure you request an inwards facing room to have a balcony looking out to the aquarium (the outward facing rooms have an equally nice view over Berlin). The hotel is really centrally located for the Christmas markets and is a stones throw from the TV tower. It is on a main road, but you can get to all the main attractions and sight seeing spo... This is a beautiful hotel. Very modern. The rooms are very very well designed although because the door to the cupboard with the safe in is white we kept banging ourselves on it when open as it matched the white walls. But apart from that- an excellent hotel. Very centrally located with an amazing central 25 metre aquarium. The food was fantastic. It is next to the River Spree in the Mitte district and near lots of shops and cafes.

The location is amazing and you can wander off to explore the city centre, either walk, crossing the Spree to the Museumsinsel and then walk along Unter den Linden or hop on a bus and take it all in. The East side of the hotel faces the Dom and you look down towards the river with the boat stop. Within the hotel the attraction certainly is the Aqua Dome :) There are quite a few restaurants around as well, the hotel internal one (Heat) is a nice place to eat as well. Everyone at the hotel was rea... Read more

Stayed here on business last weekend and found it ok. A little soulless but it served the purpose of my stay. No Tea despite asking twice and in writing. A broken shower and a tv set up for the football in the bar on the last evening that didnt work didnt fill me with joy. Despite asking about the huge fish tank i was given very little information about it or how to enjoy it further. People coming in off the street to look at the aquarium got a little tiresome in the end and we were aldo told ... Read more

This hotel was great. The staff were friendly from check-in to check-out, the aquarium in the lobby is awesome, and the rooms were well-appointed and quiet. We were upgraded upon arrival, and our business class room was great and the breakfast had options for any type of diet. The hotel's location, right next to the Berliner Dom and the DDR Museum, can't be beat. Berlin is a great city and I will definitely stay here next time I travel here!

Stayed at this hotel with my wife for three nights in June 2016. Excellent location, right next to the Cathedral and museum island and on the bank of the river. Close to lots of transport links, very close to the TV tower and within easy walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate. Room was very nice and clean and a good size, very comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. And finally, the unique aquarium in the lobby is a fantastic touch, unlike anywhere else we've ever stayed. Wi... Read more

We selected Radisson Blu for our Berlin City break. It was interesting to stay in what had been East Berlin throughout our youth. The Hotel is well situated in a vibrant part of the city near to Alexander Platz - which is easily reached by public transport, including from Schonefeld airport in the south of the city. There are always taxis outside which are efficient but not cheap. Close to Museum Island there are plenty of places to walk and shop. The City Circle bus stop is very close and the... Read more

I have not stay here but the service I received was great. Very helpful inside. Also a wonder to behold is the huge indoor aquarium hanging above the reception desks. Amazing. Outside, by the river we had drinks. The prices were higher than other nearby places but worth it for the location and care given.

We stayed at the Radisson for 2 nights. The hotel is located near Alexanderplatz and the TV tower. Its easy to reach U-Bahn, S-Bahn and other transportation from the hotel. Breakfast has a good variety and we also ate in the restaurant one evening, which also was good. The room was nice and we had a great view from our balcony.

Myself and a colleague were due to stay on in Berlin after attending a conference but she had to return home early due to a family crisis. So I ended up at the Raddison blu alone. The staff were very welcoming and the surroundings were lovely. USP of the hotel is its location. Right on the river and opposite to Berlin Dome. Also very close to Alexanderplatz which is a central area of the city. Hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. Their concierge helped us plan our weekend in Berlin. Provided us late check out and kept our luggage as well after check out. Our was the standard double room. Neat and clean. Bathroom size was ok.

A stylish hotel conveniently located right by the Berliner Dom and the Spree. We were greeted by very friendly staff who were more than keen to welcome us to Berlin and provide a free map to show us how to get to all the landmarks - and this was without us having to ask! We were immediately in awe at the massive fish tank in the atrium of the hotel. Rooms either face the aquarium (in the atrium) or onto the road, and either option would be ideal. The pool is tiny but clean and tidy. The rooms are basic and the bathrooms are dated. 4 euros for a small apple juice at the bar is ridiculous I don't care what anyone says. Most of the staff need training on how to be polite. The hotel however is in a great location. Would I stay again no I would try somewhere else.

I look at the reviews for every trip we go on and like to think I go with an open mind. Most reviews for the Radison Blu were very good and I'd mostly agree with others that it was a pleasant stay, however there were just a few tiny little niggles.
