My wife and I stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel Berlin TWICE in the same week: First, we stayed for 3 nights (in Room 4150 facing the inner courtyard and the circular, perhaps 5-story tall fish tank). We then took a side trip to Leipzig for a few days, and then returned to Berlin and the Radisson Blu for a second, 2-night stay (in Room 2117 -- an outside room). The hotel is ideally situated in the Mitte section of Berlin, on the river. Across the river from the Radisson is the island containing m... Read more

I had stayed at another hotel in Berlin and had the opposite experience at the Radisson Blu Berlin. The location is great for site seeing--I was a few steps away from Museum Island. I was close to many major transport connections. My hotel room was superbly comfortable--I could have paid more for a room looking at the amazing aquarium or the Berliner Dom but I didn't. What I got it was a very clean, well appointed and comfortable place to stay. The other hotel that I stayed at in Berlin w... Read more

This is one of the best hotels i have visited. Once you step inside you will be surprised by the large lobby and the huge aquarium. At the front desk, they are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are big, very clean. The hotel is located in Mitte street which is the place to be. Close to many historical sites and to the shopping street. Here was East Berlin..

The pool and spa were compact but good . Bathroom excellent. Bar is great fun with the giant aquarium. We had excellent room service on one night. Location really is fab 5 mins from Alexanderplatz. We stayed here for our city break. The hotel is lovely - clean, good food options and friendly staff with the added bonus on the mesmerising Aqua Dom! Make sure you request an inwards facing room to have a balcony looking out to the aquarium (the outward facing rooms have an equally nice view over Berlin). The hotel is really centrally located for the Christmas markets and is a stones throw from the TV tower. It is on a main road, but you can get to all the main attractions and sight seeing spo... This is a beautiful hotel. Very modern. The rooms are very very well designed although because the door to the cupboard with the safe in is white we kept banging ourselves on it when open as it matched the white walls. But apart from that- an excellent hotel. Very centrally located with an amazing central 25 metre aquarium. The food was fantastic. It is next to the River Spree in the Mitte district and near lots of shops and cafes.

The location is amazing and you can wander off to explore the city centre, either walk, crossing the Spree to the Museumsinsel and then walk along Unter den Linden or hop on a bus and take it all in. The East side of the hotel faces the Dom and you look down towards the river with the boat stop. Within the hotel the attraction certainly is the Aqua Dome :) There are quite a few restaurants around as well, the hotel internal one (Heat) is a nice place to eat as well. Stayed here on business last weekend and found it ok. A little soulless but it served the purpose of my stay. No Tea despite asking twice and in writing. A broken shower and a tv set up for the football in the bar on the last evening that didnt work didnt fill me with joy. Despite asking about the huge fish tank i was given very little information about it or how to enjoy it further. This hotel was great. The staff were friendly from check-in to check-out, the aquarium in the lobby is awesome, and the rooms were well-appointed and quiet. We were upgraded upon arrival, and our business class room was great and the breakfast had options for any type of diet. The hotel's location, right next to the Berliner Dom and the DDR Museum, can't be beat. Berlin is a great city and I will definitely stay here next time I travel here!

We selected Radisson Blu for our Berlin City break. It was interesting to stay in what had been East Berlin throughout our youth. The Hotel is well situated in a vibrant part of the city near to Alexander Platz - which is easily reached by public transport, including from Schonefeld airport in the south of the city. There are always taxis outside which are efficient but not cheap. Close to Museum Island there are plenty of places to walk and shop. The City Circle bus stop is very close and the... Read more

The hotel is well located to all the sights We booked a Business Class room - which was nothing special - I think they face outwards as opposed to inwards. The air conditioning is terrible - I asked if they could have a look at it as even on the lowest and maximum flow the room never really cooled down sufficiently to deal with the humid warm nights. You get a bottle of fizzy water which was not replaced when finished and the use of a Nespresso machine with free pods every day The bathroom has a... Read more

As the title states if you want a romantic hotel with charm this place is not for you. For that I would recommend the kempinski or the ritz. The rooms are functional and small. The best thing about the bathroom is the toiletries! The shower is in an awkward position and the bath plug is too so you're going to stand on it and push it lots of times during your shower! Just bad design really. Not a luxurious bathroom at all. Ac only gives out cold or tepid air. We wanted warm air since w... Read more

Stayed at the Radisson for 4 nights at the start of our European holiday. Great location for our first visit to Berlin right in the center of Mitte. Within walking distance to many sites including Brandenburg gate, Reichstag, alexanderplatz and right next to museum island and the Berlin dome. When I arrived the staff gave me the feeling that they were burdened and wanted to send me to the room as soon as possible. At any time someone greets or notices that you go through there, I found it very cold. However they professionally attended to my requests as I talked with them. Rooms are functional and get the job done. Conference facilities were more than adequate with catering services for tea breaks and lunch a real standout. The aquarium cum bar is a good place for unwinding with colleagues after a long day of meetings. Hotel restaurant wasn't the best. I'd look for dinning options elsewhere. Good access to historic district and Alexander Platz. Visit the nearby Kaschk for good Norwegian craft beer and a unique indoor shuffleboard experience.

The hotel is connected to the aquarium and they share a cylindrical tank. Opting for the inside room provides a view on the aquarium from your room. The rooms are good quality, but nothing to rave about. Breakfast was very good, with a nice mix of options available for everyone. The lobby bar I found quite uninviting, although the aquarium is the centerpiece.

The hotel might be the best location to stay if you come to Berlin as a tourist. Located right next to the famous Berlin Cathedral, it's worth to upgrade your room to a bigger size with Cathedral view. Make sure to contact the hotel in advance though since some of the bigger rooms are located on the opposite side that merely look into the shopping arcade - a waste of money. In this case you should rather choose the cheaper "normal" rooms that have a view to the inside of the hotel lobby. You don... Read more

We stayed in the Radison Blu Berlin for a short break. Close to lots of tourists stuff and perched on the river Spree, it's a great hotel to stay at, and would go again anytime. Breakfast was out of this world, with a selection of foods, second to none. Hotel staff were so friend and helpful. Our room faced out onto the river which was just so lovely. In inner rooms face inwards onto the secret of the hotel...the fishtank! You have to see it to believe it. Worth every penny to stay here. Loved ... Read more

Fantastic stay at the radisson blu with my family. Rooms were perfect, the staff were lovely and really helpful. Views from the room over the fish tank were amazing and wished we could have stayed longer but we were travelling on a budget so had to move on. Can't comment on food as didn't dine here. Watch out for the parking charge as it's steep I wish I'd noticed it before I got charged 30 Euro (22 a night) but I guess that's normal for city centre and it is in the booking information. Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights when visiting hotel, the fish tank drew us in! Very friendly staff upon check in and lovely room porter who took our bags to our room. Beds were extremely cosy and rooms were spacious with a good choice of tv channels. It's only a 10 minute walk from Alexanderplatz station which has loads of bars and restaurants. There is also a row of these next to the hotel! Only thing I can mark it down on is how much everything costs. Forgot some deodorant so when buying... Read more

I spent five nights here for work and was fairly impressed. The hotel was very modern and clean and the huge aquarium in the lobby is a nice touch. What I didn't like about this hotel is that's in a major tourist hub. The hotel was full of tourists and when you step outside, there's a plethora of tourists shops. The hotel was nice enough to offset the "touristy" environment. I'd consider staying here again next time I'm in Berlin.

We stayed here for seven days in August 2016. Everything about this place was first class. We were greeted at the counter by a very courteous person who explained everything to us. Since we are Club Carlson Gold members, we were automatically upgraded at no charge. She offered us another upgrade if we bought the breakfast package. We decided to accept her offer and got a splendid room on the corner. The Breakfast - It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, bu... Read more

I loved this hotel. The giant aquarium in the lobby is amazing. Hotel is clean and high standard. Staff friendly and very helpful. Only spent one night, but the bar area has good ambience, the rooms were really great. Only small grumble was that the shower fixture meant I had to hand hold it and the tub did not empty as quickly as the water flowed, but that is quite minor. I will definitely be back here when I come to Berlin again.

This was a great base of operations for our visit to Berlin. Right next to the river in what used to be East Berlin, the hotel had functional clean and nice rooms with a very cool massive multilevel aquarium in the lobby. Breakfast was included and great (either inside or out). Staff were helpful and the hotel is well situated within walking distance to many cool tourist spots. Check out the amazing East Germany/DDR museum right next door - ultra cool!

Good location in central Berlin next to the TV tower and 20-30 minutes easy walk to the Brandenburg gate, checkpoint Charlie and loads of museums. Berlin itself is a beautiful city and very easy to explore. Check in was quick if not overly friendly and a room was found despite being very early. The room itself was clean and well appointed with a view over the river looking onto the cathedral. The double glazing was very effective with a quiet and comfy nights sleep. Me and my husband spent 5 nights here in October 2016. Staff were lovely- very helpful. Rooms were lovely, only thing missing was milk and breakfast tea, but I'm sure we would have been provided with them if we'd asked. The aqua dome in the lobby is very impressive, and the location is amazing. Lots of cafes/restaurants nearby, and nice and close to Alexanderplatz for transport links. Would definitely recommend, and will look to use Radisson Blu for future trips.

The hotel is perfectly located to start any sightseeing tour in Berlin or to have relaxing and romantic weekend. With parks, museums and lots of reasonable restaurants by a walk distance, we could enjoy our stay in Berlin. Fortunately I have decided to take better room and have windows with museum island view, while standard rooms often have view to inside hotel yard with no fresh air behind windows.
