Stayed at the hotel, quite busy. Nice room. All conveniences (microwave, kettle etc). Breakfast was basic. Bathroom was good, nice and roomy. A decent functional hotel. Note, only one English channel out of maybe 100 channels and remote didn't really work.

Stayed for 4 nights in May 16. Perfect for our family, 7 people in two appartments. Quiet, clean, good service, good beds, we made our own breakfast, wifi could have been better:-) Nice place, perfect for big families with grownup childrenš???

Quite happy we chose these apartments to stay at. The rooms are nice and modern with enough space and a nice balcony with a view of the park. Reception was always friendly. We were able to hire bikes directly from them which we did each day. Location was good, it was only a short cycle to get to most places.

The location of the suites is perfect for a curious traveler, surrounded by main sight-seeing attractions in close proximity. Check-point Charlie is just 3 mins by walking (Itā??s also a stop for Hop-in Hop-off buses, Brandenburg Tour 30 mins, Alexander Platz and Sony Centre 20 mins). Kochstrasse (line U6) is the S-banh station in 3 mins by feet. It was quite calm and relaxing to stay in upper-floor room. Even we didnā??t book breakfast in advance, we decide to have it almost every morning (stay... Read more

We booked a Studio Comfort (for 2 people) and an Apartment Comfort (for 3 people) for 6 nights. We had a very pleasant stay, although it is true what other guests are saying about the heat: if it's warm outside, then the rooms get pretty hot, there is no air conditioning, and if you are on the ground floor or on the first floor like us, you can't really leave the windows wide open at night. Both rooms had a balcony, a fridge and sink, the Apartment also had a cooker and a dining table. But if yo... Read more

I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is only a 5 minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie which is convenient where there is also a U-Bahn station. I arrived via train at Hauptbahnhoff and the taxi was only EUR 8 to the hotel and then EUR 27 to Tegel Airport. Entrance to hotel is away from the street facing into a neighbourhood park/playground which isn't the easiest to find however there are signs. Staff were very friendly. My apartment overlooked the courtyard which was quiet and had a balcony, h... Read more

Loved our stay at Mondrian Apartments. It is set back off the road overlooking a communal garden so there is no traffic noise. The apartment was comfortable with 2 balconies, a kettle, microwave, dishwasher, fridge but strangely no kitchen sink so you need to get water from bottles or the bathroom. The staff are superb, they were very helpful when I had to change my booking, came up to show us how to work the TV so we didn't miss the England match and helped with things to do, sight seeing etc. t... We stayed here for 9 nights, it was sort of a mixed experience for us, others might find the place ok. Pros: Placed within walking distance of every major tourist attraction (up to 3 km). U-bahn is close, Kochstasse just 5 minutes on foot, Spittlemarkt 10 minutes away. Nice apartment, with everything needed. Friendly staff. Playground right outside the building. Free parking in the area, if you can find a parking spot (easiest in the afternoon). Cons: Hot ! - The building is black, there is n... Read more

Located 7 min walk from Checkpoint Charlie these apartments are situated in a quiet street overlooking a residential area. We like staying in self catering apts as we like the freedom that gives us. Breakfast is available if you want. There is a small bar area and a shop staffed by reception staff 24 hours a day. Lidl supermarket is 5 mins away and is very good. Reception staff are extremely helpful and I cannot praise them enough. There is a small well equipped gym studio with a sauna . There a... Read more

This hotel is more serviced apartments. Each room has a balcony and we were lucky to get a room overlooking the park. This is a residential area and is very quiet at night. However, everything you would need is within walking distance and as per the name, Checkpoint Charlie is a 5 min walk away, which is great at night as you can get uninterrupted photos. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We experienced some shocking rain whilst in Berlin and they had umbrellas available that we cou... Read more

We stayed here for 5 nights so wanted some living space and small kitchen etc. The suite was really well equipped, spacious and very clean. They are serviced everyday. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There was even a small shop to purchase drinks and snacks etc from 24 hours a day. And with a fixed charging dock on your bedside table to charge 4 devices they really have thought of everything!!

I stayed there for 2 nights. Can take the airport bus to Kurt- station and then the undergound to Korche station. 5 min walk from the closest undegrround station to the hotel. The room was nice with fridge, mikroowen, boiler and utensils for a quick meal if you like. Nice bathroom with toiletries. Pay 1 euro for the wifi for the entire stay per device. Only 5 min walk from Checkpoint Charlie and Friedrichstrase (shopping street). We walked all over Berlin to all the attractions. 15 min walk to... Read more

We stayed at the Mondrian self catering suites, an excellent location to explore the city. Close to the metro and within walking distance of the main sites eg the Jewish Museum; the holocaust memorial; topography of terror & the east side gallery. A wonderful city, great restaurants & so much to see- anything less than 3 days won't be enough!

Stayed here 5 nights in a Comfort apartment, i.e. with separate bedroom and a balcony. All is very new, well functioning and spotless clean. We found it very strange, however, that there was no sink or water taps in the kitchen. So one has to get water from the bathroom. There is a dishwasher though. Apart from that 'drawback' everything was fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

you Check in was good no problems, balcony very large with nice chairs, cell phone charger next to bed super. But the room not nice to my standard wood floors you can hear the guest above moving chairs and tables. the worst part you can hear the sexual noise above use. The rooms are not sound proof. Location great 3-4 min walk from Check Point Charlie not far from Ost Bahnhof. I will never down grade from the Adina Hotel again. Cheap furniture seem if it was brought from Poco oh bring your o... The room was very big and well designed. Staff were pretty friendly compares to other locals. There is a sauna. Downsides are: You have to request a sauna 40 min. prior. Room cleaning is not the best. The "supermarket" service of the hotel is actually just an over priced and under equiped kiosk. Upside: Location is good Staff is nice Rooms are incredible Price is very good

This is a nice and comfortable place but the location is not great. We stayed Saturday night but found that there was practically no nearby place where we could get a dinner. Checkpoint Charlie is a short distance away and that is where we found a Tapas restaurant, surrounded by American fast food places. The streets were dark and we were a bit anxious.

An excellent base for visiting Berlin. Two minutes walk from Checkpoint Charlie ,U bahn,Friedrichstrasse and cheap, available taxis. 7 euro in a taxi to Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag. U bahn to Kreutzfeldt is five minutes- fantastic restaurants, pubs and nightlife. Yup.

Family trip: 10 people, 4 rooms. You do a lot of walking when you visit Berlin and this was a great place to come back to at the end of the day: warm, friendly, clean, comfortable, spacious, with 24-hour reception and bar. 5-minute walk from Kochstrasse U-bahn station, and there's a Lidl right over the road where you can stock up for all your self-catering needs (including 29-cent cans of beer: not kidding). They put breakfast on for ā?¬9.50 per person, which was a bit steep for us, but you ca... Read more

We stayed in this very modern hotel for 5 nights. We arrived in a car that they allowed me to park for free while we unpacked. Then I returned the car to the rental company. This place was a bit above my normal price point but I think it was worth it. It is tucked away in a modern office/apartment area about 3 or 4 blocks from Check Point Charlie. We had a queen bed, livening area with couch, flat screen tv , table and chairs for eating at, microwave, refrigerator and a few dishes and utensils... Read more

We were a couple and a child. The suite structure was great for our needs because we had a bedroom for privacy and a sofa bed for the child in the living room. The breakfast was great and the hotel facilities, as well as the staff, were in very good shape. The location is a walking distance from Checkpoint Charlie.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The Mondrian is clean, quiet, and the staff are amazing. It is located just a few blocks from Check Point Charlie. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. There is a playground just outside the front door. There are small grocery stores and restaurants near by and it is just blocks to the underground train station. The kitchen is small, but had everything we needed for our short stay (microwave, fridge, dishes... Read more

Stayed here for four nights in November. Hotel is in a great location, close to Checkpoint Charlie. A Lidl just around the corner was helpful too! One small criticism is the small size of room and bathroom but isn't a problem when you are on a city break and out all day. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
