The Hotel is conveniently located near two U-Bahn stations for two different lines so getting to and from the hotel is very easy. The staff is very nice and always happy to answer questions. The breakfast is OK nothing really worth the extra 9 euro per day but decent enough not to go running around looking for a place to eat.

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a short stay on my way to the states. I wanted someplace close to public transport and easily reached from the airport. I found the metropolitan at a reasonable price and was pleased with my stay. I didn't bother with the breakfast which was an additional charge. I did buy coffee though. The hotel is located right across the street from a supermarket so I bought juice and fruit for breakfast. It was an easy, short ride to anywhere by metro.... Read more

We stayed at this hotel when visiting X-mas markets in Berlin. We booked three comfort double rooms, one with the balcony. I asked for balcony before reservation and we got it. The view was not great but we did not come to Berlin to stay inside. There is tv, a hair dryer and wi-fi in the room, no fridge. For wi-fi , ask for the password at the reception. Room was simple and clean. Walls are quite thin and you can hear people passing by your rooms. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its pos... Read more

I was in Berlin for 4 days 21-25th April. I booked this hotel on the strength of the positive reviews about the staff and so glad I did. The hotel itself is basic; my single room, 211, was ideal for me as I was out most of the time anyway. All of the staff were exceptional in their caring, friendliness and understanding; nothing was too much bother. I forgot the number of the room safe and within 5 minutes the house manager had sorted it. They were all keen to chat about Berlin and what I would ... Read more

Just back from a 4 night stay with my fiancée. Hotel was in a great location, staff very friendly & extremely helpful. Underground 2 minute walk from hotel. Room very clean & comfortable! Only downside was the breakfast but there are plenty of places around that serve breakfast! Definatley worth a stay!

Nice hotel...near metro, train and bus. Nice room for 3 adults...no luxury but just great for 3days citytrip Nice breakfast too ... Not expensive at all and sympatic worker too. The only negative point (not so negative ...but can be better) its the Wifi.

Hotel is in great location. Looking good from outside, old building has nice corridors. Sometimes to long. My single-standard room was in unacceptable condition. Dirty, with lots of dust. Old furnitures, small single bed, broken wardrobe with self-opening doors. Room was also very small. No place for a desk, or bigger table. The table I got was 50x50cm and too low to use it with a chair. Dirty wall next to my bed and a heater with peeling off paint. Also breakfast is very basic with not always ... Read more

Location of the hotel is excellent, near two metro stations, and to a main shopping street Staff was very helpful, I asked for kettle and ironing board and they provided one for free, even though they were not included in the room The room was quiet, nice and clear The hotel is very nice for a basic The Wifi is weak and frequently interrupts

Reasonably priced single room about 10 minute walk from s-bahn and u-bahn stations...other than not having a fridge, the room was fine for my short visit...staff were friendly and welcoming....it's in a quiet residential area but as all windows of the room face the same courtyard...even the smallest sound echoes to all rooms...no big deal though as all guests were pretty quiet...

It started when I was here for work. The rooms the company booked us were incorrect, but it took a week and a half to sort it out. The first room (the lowest one possible) was actually the size of a cupboard. Many of us had other issues as well, water stains, general mess, broken items and furniture etc etc. One of my colleagues even found used syringes in the bathroom, to which the management suggested they belonged to him because he hadn't reported it straight away (regardless of the fact he j...
