A remarkable city to visit with so much to do and see, especially for anyone who has the slightest interest in history or just to visit the city for entertainment, friendly locals and traditional German food. The places of interest are far too many to mention, as well as the bars/restaurants.

We stayed here for 2 days as a family- 2 adults ,2 kids (7,8 years) Pros: excellent hardworking staff( reception, breakfast ladies) Location: this hotel is a good 10 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz. So in case you are with kids , luggage , remember that Alexanderplatz is filled with beggars , nomads everywhere. I didn't know which way to go so I asked my wife and kids to stay near tram stop and when I was not around , one of the beggars threw a beer bottle next to them. They got scared luckil... Read more

I get that Ibis is a budget hotel, but I'm not sure any hotel takes that concept more seriously. The lights in the stairwell are on a sensor, which I appreciate, but I don't appreciate being on the stairs and the lights going out. The WiFi is TERRIBLE. The staff makes every effort to avoid interacting with you. In fact, the front desk is not even staffed at night. When we arrived, the electricity was out, which is not their fault, and the two women at the desk were very kind and helpful, but th... Read more

Very nice hotel , Perfect location to see Berlin..in the former GDR side of the Berlin. But bang on Alexandraplatz which a very good place to see street food, fun activities and start your Berlin city tour. Breakfast was really good for the budget hotel with some warm sandwitches options. Rooms are good in size with a nice cupboard. And a spacious table with couple of chairs.

We liked this colourful place and our room in red was very spacious with 4 separate beds, so we could have a really nice and quality sleep after coming from the airport by bus (35 mins). Breakfast was very delicious with plenty of German bread and meat varieties. In reception area there were facilities to make tea or coffer, milk, etc. Alexanderplatz in a 5-min walking distance and we went on a Tower tour with kids to have a look at Berlin from the birds view. We came for 5 days from Israel to visit Berlin. The hotel is in a great location and OK from what you need from hotel in the middle of the city. But, and it's a big BUT there is a employer that very un nice to Israeli people. We came with a problem in our room door and he got angry on us! All the time he was very un patience to us and when we saw how he treat another Israeli tourist group his behavior was the same. They give water to every new guest when arrived but to the israeli people he "for... Read more

Good location for exploring Berlin. Close to shops, transport links, bars and restaurants. Basic hotel, but clean and quiet. Breakfast in the morning is good with a reasonable selection of everything you would expect from a continental style breakfast. Rooms were big enough and comfortable enough. Only complaint was that the hotel never had any still water available for the rooms at night. Only sparkling charged at 3 Euro. I would stay here again, as the hotel is close enough to explore the city... Read more

Spent 4 days in Berlinin June 2016. Hotel was located right off Alexanderplatz. Very good transportation to virtually any place in Berlin. The hotel is very basic. We got a room on the 6th floor. Nice little room, clean and tidy. we asked for a doublebed but got a twin bed - quite anoying. To use the safe you need to ask a key from the reception. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful - thank you Ahmed!! Breakfast was plentiful. We were shocked to find out that the luggage was kept near th... Read more

The hotel is located a short walk from Alexander Platz station which is dead handy for access across most of the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even going out of there way to look up attrations and places they had not heard off. The breakfast is not bad for an inclusive price.

Hotel is in a fantastic location, right by Alexanderplatz meaning you get about to anywhere in Berlin, including to and from the airport easily. I stayed in a single room, which had plenty of space, and was very clean, with a very nice en-suite bathroom. Staff were great, friendly. Breakfast was nice. Really good value for money too.

I booked our last night at this hotel because I wanted to be near the bus to the airport for the early morning flight. It is right by the Alexanderplatz train station but the hotel was quiet. The room is clean and modern. I wouldn't necessarily stay there for the whole vacation but if you need to be near a major train station for whatever reason, it is a great place for a great price.

Very handy for transport links, right on Alexanderplatz. Also, the hop on-hop off tour buses stop a moment from the door. Breakfast is standard continental cold buffet served over 3.5hrs so no too busy. The room was clean and comfortable with shower gel provided. No socket in the bathroom or tea/coffee/kettle in the room. There is free wifi but it was very slow. Welcome pack included water and biscuits. Would recommend and use again.

This was our first experience with the Ibis 'Styles' brand and it was great. The room was basic, but clean, and reasonably priced. Four of us (two adults and two pre-teens) stayed in one room (double bed and two singles). The personal at the hotel is really welcoming and ready to help you for questions. The worker at the desk was speaking German, English and French! The breakfast is OK, without being exceptional. The room is convenient if you stay there only to sleep ???. Beware the phonics isolation is quite bad, take your earplugs with you, it can be a good idea to be able to sleep ???.

In general we had a nice stay at this hotel and I can´t really complain about anything in particular but I really don't believe it is an Ibis Styles type, I have stayed in several Ibis that are nicer than this one. One good aspect of this hotel is its location, just walking distance from Alexanderplatz where you can get connections to everywhere in town.

I had stayed there before it was an ibis styles but only recognised this on arrival. The rooms were pleasant and clean. Good position for Alexanderplatz. Short walk to all public transport and hop on hop off buses. Hotel was very clean and modern.Rooms a good size. A table set up at reception with free teas, coffee and water. Staff friendly and welcoming. We found the rooms a little hot at night and due to traffic noise could not leave the window open. The breakfast was better than some 4star hotels I have stayed in. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The cleaning lady changed the towels every morning although they were placed hanging on a rack on the wall and there were labels telling to do so if you were to use them another day. She also took one of our own towel and we never got it back. I was hoping also a little bit more of this hotel as it was supposed to be a 3-star hotel. My opinion is 2 stars. Positive thing is that I slept quite well and the room was quiet. But I hated the fitted carpet.

We had never stayed in an Ibis hotel before, but after seeing Berlin's expensive room prices we ended up choosing this as a more reasonable option. And our choice turned out to be perfect! For an affordable price we got central location, friendly staff (which is hard to find in Berlin), a spacious and comfortable room, and an amazing breakfast included. Everything was also very clean. Definitely this will be our choice if we return to Berlin someday.

Stayed at Ibis Styles Alexanderplatz for a weekend in Berlin. This is a nice clean hotel at a strategic location, just across the street from Alexanderplatz - one of Berlin's main tourist areas.
