A really good location in Central Berlin, very close to an S-Bahn station and within walking distance of Museum Island. The hotel itself is very nice, with comfortable, clean rooms that are reasonably well-appointed. The buffet breakfast is excellent, a very wide choice, and everything very fresh. The staff are very helpful - and if the manager reads this, I would like to praise Anna in particular, she is so friendly and really helpful.

This hotel is PERFECT for a city trip! Centrally located in Mitte, a lot of restaurants and bars nearby, close to tram and S-Bahn station. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are clean and individually decorated. We had a room leading to the inner court so we didn't hear any traffic noise. The breakfast is excellent! We will definitely stay there again.

This hotel was a great find. It is steps away from the Oranienburger S-bahn station and the tram stop is right outside the door. It is also about a 10-15 minute walk to Friedrichstrasse station. Breakfast was included, and it was amazing. The room itself was a bit small, but it was more than adequate for a couple. We would definitely stay there again. Great value!

The hotel is situated in a very good location. Inside it's quite modern and the rooms seem to be recently renovated. It's also very clean, the staff is friendly and they serve a good continental breakfast.

Our family has stayed at this hotel several times. We always come back because it is a gem in disguise; a real steal for the price in such a large expensive city. The hotel is not much from the outside, but tucked back behind the plain facade is an airy space with an outdoor courtyard. A very generous and delicious breakfast is served here in the mornings. Coffee is included, for a small additional fee you can get cappuccinos, espressos, etc. also in the afternoons. Rooms are decent-sized, ... Read more

38 Hotel - what a good Hotel. We have stayed in 38 Hotel in July 2016 for 6 nights. It is situated in a very good place, near the uBan. Around the hotel there are restaurants, the best streets where you can find art galleries. the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is rich and tasty. great choice of hotel. the only thing is that the WiFi is very slow and unsteady.

What a fantastic hotel. We knew we had picked a good place from the moment we made our initial inquiry. Prompt responses to our questions before making the booking, swift action on our deposit (how many times have we paid a deposit and it be left for weeks in our account) and plenty of helpful advice prior to our arrival. Located in the old East Berlin, this hotel benefits from being little more than a 25 minute stroll from some of the main sights you may wish to see. Served well by metro and t... Read more

Hotel 38 is a good, small hotel in Berlin, Mitte. The rooms are on the smaller side with a good, broad bed, small chair and desk, but are clean and very light. we stayed on the 4th floor facing a quiet street and playground. The bathroom is lovely: spacious, really nice shower, magnifying make-up mirror and hair-dryer. The staff at the reception is very kind and welcoming. The breakfast-room is unusual as it contains a long, communal tabel, but there are also chairs and low tabels for those who ... Read more

The property is close to the TV tower and is easy to get to by bus from the train station. It is also close to the S-bahn. The front - desk lady was particularly helpful calming my fears about the ground air crew strike. She confirmed that our flight to Vienna was on schedule. The breakfast was plenty and varied. They cooked eggs to your request. The restaurant next door had very nice asparagus soup and attentive staff. The building is a bit quirky where you have to take the elevator to the firs... Read more
