Girls weekend 2 twin rooms, stayed on a concert weekend, no problems with noise, great location 5 minute walk to local city u/s bahn links 2 minute walk to concert venue. 2 minor issues, breakfast it was busy despite asking if we needed to prebook we were told no and then had to wait, the tomatoes with melted mozzarella were lukewarm despite being on the hot section and the other niggle is a personal preference, why is the hairdryer always in the bathrooms, I personally prefer it to be at a dres... Decided to book as a birthday city break for 2 nights, as it was good value and quite central. The hotel is literally opposite the nearby Mercedes stadium; thankfully nothing was on but saying that there was construction works going on outside we could hear no noise. Hotel is 5 mins walk away from a nearby station which we took to/from the airport and also to get around Berlin. Takes about 20 mins roughly on the train to get to Potsdamer Platz which is where most of the sights/shopping are. S ... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights bed & breakfast. We caught the train from the airport to Warschauer Str Station, just a few minutes walk to the hotel. The lobby / reception is bright, clean & welcoming & the staff were friendly. Our room was on the 4th floor and was modern, spacious & pleasant. The shower was hot & powerful & the room had tea & coffee making facilities (replenished daily). The bed was large & comfortable and the room had air conditioning. Superb! Great new hotel, modern and comfortable, with a decent breakfast and less than a minute from the Arena! Also close to stations to get into Berlin city attractions easily, the river and East Side Gallery close by which is a bonus. Not a beautiful part of the city, but would really recommend if you're going to a concert or event as part of a short city break.

Booked this Hotel as we attended the Muse concert at the MB Arena, which is right across the Hotel. This is a great Hotel, the rooms are well sized, nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast has everything to get you going in the morning, and is opened till 11am. The Hotel staff is very friendly and professional, a little anecdote, when we left and asked for a Taxi, we waited several minutes and I went back in to let them know the taxi had not arrived. They paged a taxi and as we were waiting... Read more

The hotel building is great but has the most awful staffs with no attitude for service and treat guests like thief and enemy . Especially the worst at the restaurant and inexperienced front office staffs. Worst service ever.. And shouts at customers for no apparent reason. Do not eat at the restaurant ever

Arrived about midday and was met with a helpful and pleasant check in; including actually being able to check in. Given the temperature was over 30 degrees then this was very much appreciated. One of the best check in experiences I have had; credit to the lady on reception on Friday 24 June. Room itself was quiet, clean, with a powerful shower and comfortable bed linen and bed. Requests for a quiet room away from the lift were fully followed; showing an attention to detail which helped us to h... Read more

Stayed in the hotel for 5 nights from 2 - 7 of july. Its a very nice and modern hotel in a fantastic location, very close to lots of bars, clubs and restaurants . Couldnt have picked a better location! The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was very powerful. Staff were all extremely helpful, especially the night time receptionist, a man, can't remember his name. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here in early June when visiting Berlin for a Muse gig. We couldn't believe what a bargain we got for a hotel which is a whole 2 minutes walk from the front door of the Mercedes-Benz arena. Aside from that, you are 5 mins away from the bars and restaurants alongside the river Spree, 5 minutes walk from a hop on hop off bus tour, boat trips, the Oberbaumbrucke (beautiful!) and also an S-Bahn station. We walked from the hotel to Alexanderplatz one day and that took around 40 minutes, ... Read more

We just spend one night there which was fine . It's a very new hotel virtually opposite the Mercedes Benz Arena. You can stroll over to the East side Gallery , the famous Oberbaumbrücke und over to Friedrichshain . Public transport ( Warschauer Brücke ) is within walking distance well. There will major construction for the new Anschutz Entertainment Group amusement quarter right next to the hotel very soon , so better hurry up to get there before it will get noisy from 7 am.

As mentioned in other reviews this is a new hotel near the Mercedes Benz Arena and close to the station Warschauer Str. for U and S trains to virtually anywhere in Berlin. Facilities are good, rates reasonable, is quiet and it is an excellent location for exploring the east side of the city. There are not so many restaurants directly around the hotel but there are a lot of options a short walk over the river. Good Hotel. Great room with good betts. Nice breakfast with lots of choice and nice breakfast room. Helpful and friendly personnel, but we were wrongly informed about the breakfast costs. Location isn't very pretty and next to a crossroad with traffic lights, thus noisy. Television is really old and didn't work well.

Nice newer build hotel just next to East side gallery and close to both U- and S-Bahn stations that will take you easily around Berlin (purchase 24h tickets if you know that you will be travelling more than 3 times a day) In the area surrounding the hotel a mall is currently being build why some construction noise must be expected.

If I could give 5+ on TripAdvisor, I would give this hotel it. The holiday inn Berlin is a very special hotel which exceeded expectations and left some very special memories. First, our hotel room was fantastic, with a comfy bed and a nice modern theme. We had dinner at the resteraunt one night, and I must say, it did not disappoint. My travel companion recommends the apple strudel. The breakfast buffet was good value, with one breakfast free for joining the rewards scheme. The only negative ... Read more

good location for where we needed to be in Berlin, and nicely appointed rooms. Not very central if you want to visit the berlin landmarks, but it served our needs. There seemed to be a metro station close by, but didn??t use it. Lot of construction going on in the area, looks like a shopping mall will be opening up in the immediate area at some point. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of September. The location is not central however, it is a very nice residential area, with several bakeries, couple of restaurants offering international cuisine. The best part however was our spacious room. The interior design of the hotel reflects the aesthetics of 90s, a litte outdated but ok. There is tram top right in front of the hotel so you can be at Alexanderplats in 10 minutes. I would stay here again!

Small issue was that the mattress had seen better firmer days and in my opinion should be considered for replacement. For two days it was good. Right next to Mercedes Arena so convenient if if attending an event there. Just a short stroll.
