Very friendly and helpful staff who are also responsible for the neighbouring holiday inn hotel, not 4 * but adequate for our needs ( a place to sleep) bathroom looks as though it had recently been renovated. We wanted a quick look at the news on an old television, unfortunately there was no sound, breakfast buffet was quite good, bar and restaurant quite expensive though

First had a quarrel with them about the reservation (only confirmation would have been necessary but they wanted me to send the credit card data via email). My room was ready only at 15.00, wifi for 5 EUR, far away from city center, too soft bed.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. We were on a tour and this was the allocated hotel with a meal package. it is in East Berlin and the quality shows. The rooms were dreary with views over looking the other block of the hotel. it is huge with many, many rooms. the staff are struggling and when one of our party complained and said this is a very poor hotel the receptionist agreed! The food was awful and was buffet style so if you did not get there at the rig... Read more

Good, modern, efficient and clean. I stayed a week with my son. It was a vacation trip for us. The hotel has very good connections to Berlin's mass transit system. I liked the room very much; it was spacious, had large windows, the walls were well-insulated; and the shower was hot and good water pressure. I would recommend this hotel to you.

The room itself was clean but very impersonal, and there was no kettle to make some tea or coffee. The hotel is far from everything, in the middle of an area which is very dull. Thankfully there are 3 lines of tramway that go that way, but you have to count a minimum of 20 minutes to go anywhere interesting. May be convenient if you are doing a business trip and need to stay in that area, otherwise just forget it!

While the hotel room was okay it lacked a refrigerator and the bathroom smelled terribly. The tv was old and gave a harsh feedback so it was unwatchable. One elevator got stuck and the other made loud noises. The location wasn't central but was next to 2 trams. The workers were nice and considerate.

For the affordable price, the room was excellent. Bathroom amenities are great (towels, soap, comfort). The cleanliness is also great. Although the location was pretty far from the central areas, there are some nearby tram stations which make our traveling really handy. There is a tram directly going to Berlin Hbf. There are also some kebap stall and cafe nearby, which gives more option for food and drinks. The staff we met during check out was really friendly. We booked Standard Double Bedroom... Read more

The Hotel is very well located and has a modern and clean look. Rooms have lots of space and are very nicely decorated. The staff was professional and supportive with the issues we had. One negative point here is that we had to wait over 30 mins for the check in as there was only one person in the desk. The beds were a bit too soft, same as the pillows, a bit harder beds are more comfortable. On the other side the Hotel was advertised in Booking as that it had free internet in the lobby. This... After paying so little to stay I was expecting a lot of smoke and mirrors but it was better then we ever expected, nice modern and clean with big comfy beds. The location isn't as close as I'd expected and took a tram then the ubahn to get anywhere.

Staff, check-in, restaurant, bar etc. all ok. Room was however dirty, very dated and not great. Carpets stained and generally felt dirty. Room hot and air-con did not work. TV was very, very old and poor quality.

Positives: Price is good. Cleaning staff seem friendly. Sheets and towels were clean. Location is okay If you have a car Close to a train station Negatives: -It's not that close to town. -Free parking around however we didn't feel like it was a safe area so had to pay 12 euro for a car spot that isn't even under cover. - rooms not soundproof . Could hear the neighbors music going at 12.30am and could hear them talking. Tips:Request a room away from the elevators!! Our room was the closes... Read more

Large and spacious hotelroom with comfortable large beds. Room was clean , bathroom and carpet was a bit dated but renovations are taking place at the moment of writing this review. One call to housekeeping and the requested extra pillows were delivered almost immediately. Very good and complete breakfast ! Staff were all very nice and helpfull. WiFi although paid, wasn't very good on the upper floors. Very good connections with S-bahn and trams to Berlin city centre. We would definately stay h... Read more

I would go there one more time I guess for me it was enough , I had close connection to be centre so I won't complain ,clean rooms, good staff , and nice location , for short stay it is ok but for longer I won't stay it is a bit overpriced, so next time when I stay for 5 days I will go there

We enjoyed staying at the Hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. Without them we would have had difficulty negotiating our way around the City. They made sure we had directions, printed instructions and maps to follow. The rooms were very clean however a fridge, a kettle and a complimentary bottle of water would have been nice. It was very far of turistic area. There wasnt places near the hotel to dinner o drink a beer. You only have dinner in the hotel with expensive prices. There was no free internet but in the main entrace was written it was free. The Tv only has. German channels but in the publicity was written satellital TV. The Tv was small and very old. The room was big, confortable and clean but very impersonal. Its a big hotel so in the cheking an chekout there was a queue. We will not come back

Arrived at this hotel in the afternoon with my mother for a 2 night stay. Hotel is a bit hard to find if you aren't looking, as it is not well signposted. You can see the hotel name on the side of the building up the very top, but other than that, there's no signage to say what hotel it is. Even as you get into the hotel it says Holiday in which is super confusing. It's also about 40mins away from Berlins main trainstation by tram. But it is near the tram line so you don't have to walk far to... Read more

LOCATION The hotel is situated in Berlin east, about 3 km from Alexanderplatz. If you arrive by car, don't park your car at the hotel. Simply drive to the back theres a free parking lot/P+R less than 1 minute walk. Using the tram one can easily reach the city center. At the back of the hotel (turn right, then cross the parkinglot and the tram rail to Altenhofer Str.) you can take the tram M6 towards Alexanderplatz (about 10-15 min). The tram M13 at front of the hotel may be convenient if you wan... Read more

The location is not very inviting. The building is not very nice. The elevators are ancient and almost took my hand off. Nokia tvs anyone? Look elsewhere unless the location is ideal for you. It has the cheek to have a 4 star sign on the entrance. Don't think so...

The hotel room was very clean and beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. I was happy with the room however the AC did not work and it was boiling in the room and asked for a fan however got a fan which barely worked. We had to open the window and we could hear noise from the bar and had to use ear plug so we could sleep. There was no facilities such as an iron, fridge etc. The staff at the bar was very rude to me and my sister as we asked for Ice and one lady was very rude toward... Read more

The room was nice and clean. The bed was fine and everything was clean. Only problem was my key card. It did not work at all because it was oviously old and rampaged. I got a new one that did not work too and after that i got a real key. Apart from that everything was fine.

Really confusing - you book the hotel with one name - you find that it has another name. Hotel restaurant - high prices, terrible service. It was a really big quest to find a water in wending machines - the water were in one raw with alcoholic drinks - thus you can't buy it without age verification(can't do that if don't have a local german id card). Everything else were also of poor quality. Don't stay there!

The room was big and that is probably the best thing about the hotel, however, I would not rte it as a 4 star hotel for the following reasons: no free wifi, no mini-bar in the rooms, no complementary hot water kettle and coffee and tea, and the TV's are ancient.

It was a nice hotel with a good and large breakfast buffet. So good quality for the price we paid but some people of the staff at the desk could have been more friendly and that is a pitty... We had to close the window at night because of the traffic noise but then it was ok.

Only thing I liked about the hotel is the location. We booked a room for 3 and while booking the room looked spacious with separation but when arrived we were surprised that they only added an extra single bed which took a lot of space. Plus no room device whatsoever even the phone didn't work! Bed wasn't comfortable, we booked a double bed and it had two mattresses not one so they kept saparating and we fall in the middle.
