This is a great hotel if you are looking for a place just to sleep, not super luxurious - no frills - but clean and easy to get to all the hot locations. Great on premis bar and friendly staff. Didn't offer any upgrades for Diamond or even acknowledge status. View was bad - but I was just using the room as a crash pad so I didn't make a big deal of it.

Great location near Ku'damm and Zoologisches Garten. Breakfast room a bit crowded in the morning, need to wait a few minutes for a table. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. With the window open you hear the train passing in the distance.

This hotel suited our needs exactly. It was modern, clean and comfortable and was in an excellent location to suit all our sightseeing. Easy walking distance (500m) to one of the main shopping streets, very close to two underground stations, and plenty of good restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful and a good comprehensive breakfast. Could be crowded if you chose the busy time.

We stayed here for a couple of days on an anniversary trip and used our Hilton points for our stay. We were treated nicely upon check in and our room was a normal hampton style room. When we went out on day two we came back to a very disappointing and upsetting experience. My wifes personal items that were left on the bed were thrown on the floor by housekeeping. They also left a wet towel and dirty tissue on the floor that we did not put there. Additionally they did not clean the tea cups... Read more

We booked what sounded nice: a garden room. It overlooks a patch of green grass and a roof top with weeds and wild flower next to a parking lot with trash barrels. But there's no traffic, so it's quiet. This was the 6th hotel we've stayed at on this trip to Germany, and the least satisfactory. The room is adequate and clean, but there's no baggage rack, no safe, no refrigerator, no robe and slippers--none of the things one might expect in a hotel costing what this one does. The one saving grace... Read more

Stayed here for 4 nights on a recent trip to Berlin with my husband and baby. I was really impressed with our room which was a good size, with a nice comfy bed and lovely clean bathroom. Our room looked out over the train tracks but the soundproofing was excellent and we were not disturbed at all. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of food from teas, coffees, yoghurt, cereal, breads, croissants, meats, cheeses and hot food (including yummy pancakes, bacon and syrup!) What an excellent hotel this is. Great room with good bed with such good cushions. Wonderful bathroom with everything provided and good towels. Nice couch, good chair to work on, really good working climate control and, hurray, a water cooker with enough tea and large mugs. Tired: sit on your coach with a cup of tea and a nice book. Breakfast is more than good! Service of all the staff is more than friendly, more than good (they even sell stamps!)! And: a great barman in the 'snack room/bar' in ... Read more

Very helpful staff, modern and clean room, 24/7 workout facility and a good location within the city. Excellent cafes, restaurants and shopping in a very walkable area. consistent with other Hamptons, tucked away on a side street that has a moderate amount of traffic, good insulation keeps noise level down. room was comfortable and clean, bath was roomy with good shower. Close walk to shopping areas, numerous restaurants to choose from in the area. Easy walk to the S Bahn station. Breakfast area laid out well and good variety of expected food choices for breakfast. Good coffee, varieties of tea available.

I was truly amazed by the friendliness of the receptionists. They were always eager to help you out with any enquiries. I guess breakfast is the best part of the entire experience in the hotel as well as the spotless cleanliness of the rooms. Even though the view from our room was not stunning, the location was great with many good restaurants nearby. Highly Recommended!

I enjoyed another stay at this property. This time, I was able to get a balcony queen. While I enjoyed the balcony, please be advised that it comes at the expense of floor space in the room, so if the weather isn't as nice as it was during my stay in early June, you might enjoy the extra inside space with a non-balcony room. Was my third time staying here. Hotel still seems pretty new and is very well maintained. Room clean and the air conditioning worked very well. I appreciated the free breakfast downstairs; in fact, it puts any of the U.S. Hamptons to shame. Location very convenient for things in the former West Berlin. Only hiccup is that the online checkin does not tell you that there may be an adjoining room.

Great location in Charlottenburg, close to the trendy Savigny Platz. The room was good-sized but massive windows and lot of natural light. Internet worked perfectly (the hotel was full as this was during Fashion Week) to the point that I was able to watch movies with Netflix. Bathroom was comfortable and amenities were very ok. A great value for money. Last but not least, breakfast offered many different options.

The Hampton by Hilton in Berlin is a very nice hotel. From the hotel, the U-Bahn (Uhlandstrasse) is easily accessible, and it is an easy walk to restaurants in the Savignyplatz area. The rooms are modern but small, with a comfortable sofa bed for families and (a surprise!) great air conditioning. Moreover, the breakfast is definitely a cut above typical Hampton fare. Could leave items in reception but we chose to leave on room and take risk. No security problems I have to say.

Hotel is conveniently located on a side street about two or three blocks from a main shopping street with many blocks of stores. Hotel was very quiet with a very nice breakfast buffet, similar to those served in U.S. Hampton's, but with a touch of German influence such as lunchmeats, cheeses, rolls, variety of European style breads, fruit and yogurt. Rooms were clean and comfortable. So if you are looking for a hotel that has both American and German influences, this would be a good choice. ... Read more

Last minute, weekend in Berlin. Arrived on Friday evening after a long 2 hours train ride (standing all the way as second part of train failed) from Hamburg in 30+ degrees. Fortunately less than 10mins walk from Zoo metro station. The hotel is in a quiet side street, with lots of places to eat in the surrounding streets. Check-in was efficient, I opted to pay a little (â?¬5 per night) extra to be out the back of the hotel. Walked into a lovely cool, and well presented room with all the facili... Read more

We stayed in a Queen Room with a sofabed for 2 nights. The room was large enough to fit an additional crib, but not much else. The room was clean and well prepared. The breakfast is similar to US Hampton Inn breakfasts and was delicious. This hotel is in a good location, close to the S-Bahn stop, although the stop was not operating while we were there.

Stayed six nights at the Hampton by Hilton and it was most enjoyable. Excellent Staff, great room with a large balcony to relax on in the evening, 24 hour bar if you needed it, fantastic breakfast that makes the Hampton's in the US & Canada look extra bad in comparison. The selection was unbelievable and everything was "FRESH", no powdered eggs here and always hot and full. We faced the Rail line just as the trains came into the Station and they were loud when sitting on the balcony and I though... Read more

Stayed here for a week. Decent location for the S-Bahn. With it being nearby to the tourist areas, eating out/having a drink out can be a bit tiresome and the food in the hotel is almost nonexistent. Breakfast always packed with the usual brigade of rude cheese and cold meat eaters. Rooms cleanish and comfortable.

I have stayed in this hotel several times earlier and came back now after more than two years - I have found this hotel maybe even better than before (if it´s possible). Of course, you could find more charming hotels in Berlin, with an extraordinary design, special location etc. But this Hampton is for me absolutely perfect if you want a hotel in a perfect location with all the necessary comfort. Talking about location, it´s really great, just only few steps from Ku´damm, close to the ZOO, wi... Read more

We spent 3 nights at the Hampton by Hilton in Berlin and found it to be a great place to stay. It was a reasonably sized room that was very efficient in use of space. The free wi-fi worked well, plenty of towels were provided, all toiletries were provided (including body lotion!), and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were concerned that there would be noise from the train -- not a sound. In fact, it was the quietest room we stayed in during our 3-week trip. We were on the courtyard, 1... Read more

Rooms are light and airy, with a minimum of fuss but as usual with Hilton everything works like it should. The bar area is pleasant and clean, and they serve a nice beer. I stayed at Hampton by Hilton Berlin City in August 2016 for work. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The bed was average, but the sheets were white and crisp. I slept well. The shower was very clean and modern. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap smelled very nice. The hotel was a nice place to relax after a day of meetings. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to my meetings. The staff was helpful when I asked for a toothbrush and toothpaste. Wifi worked well.

We arrived on the afternoon of 14/10/16 for our weekend visit in Berlin. The hotel check in staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The twin beds to our room were one of the most comfortable we have experience in hotels. The free breakfast was 10 out of 10 in taste and most plentiful. Although the hotel has 3 star status it in my opinion is comes across as more like a 4 star. We will most certainly use their services again.
