Just stayed here for three nights. Situated close to city centre so easy to get to museums and other popular tourist attractions. Staff friendly and helpful. Had a single room with ensuite which was spotless. Plenty of choices at breakfast. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Berlin on a budget.

I was staying from Monday to Friday in the Acama and found it quite pleasant. The location was good, the breakfast ample... and the service at the reception desk more than helpful. Especially the bald man was extremely competent and service-orientated. This all in consideration of the very low price. I have spent the rest of the week end in a high class hotel - yes, there are differences in facilities, luxury etc - but, mind you, one night did cost me as much as the whole stay in the Acama ;-) I... First impressions of the area were poor. Walls were intimidating and unwelcoming as soon as we approached. Room was an absolute disgrace and bordering on a violation of human rights. Sheets were dirty, infested with lice, and riddled with dust. In addition to this, mysterious wiry black hairs were found littered on the beds (once they were made - this was a 25 minute task in itself). Roof was falling in on us, creating yet more dust, mess and discomfort. Intense dust showers made breathing diffi... Read more

Good location, close to train and rooms are basic, rather small. No problem with the hotel itself and the guests were quiet. WIFI was a huge issue for us, wouldnt work at all in our rooms and the staff would not assist at all. For international travellers, this is vital.

I had awful two nights of bad sleep there, the doors are heavy and loud, even if you try to make it quiet. I had the bad luck of having 5 siblings as neighbours and the bathroom and the parents were out of their room, so there was a slammed door every five minutes ALL NIGHT LONG

The rooms are ok, clean, big and spacious and quiet, with a TV, comfortable bed, safe, private bathroom, WIFI does not work in the room, only in the lobby. Staff are helpful and friendly. After 10 o'clock in the evening you can go to central courtyard. :(

I stayed in a single, it was clean, centrally located, with enough restaurants around. It's in a fairly touristy area, so it felt safe, there were always people around regardless of time of night. For the price, it definitely lived up to expectations. Breakfast was simple, but good.

this hotel and hostel is no hotel by definition, simply a youth hostel. It is very basic, beds, bathroom/toilet a table, TV and a few shelves. The major advantage is that it's very clean and a few meters walk from the metro. It by no means suitable for families with kids, who need a kitchen or familie rooms. If you are not too demanding you would settle for that, but in my view it is too expensive for what you get in return, as a family. It is highly recommended as a youth hostel for teens and s... The Acama Hotel/Hostel was easy to find and their service via the phone with directions was really good. The room was very clean, well proportioned, warm and easy to access. The service from all of the attendants was really good, especially giving directions to us as international travellers. The only issue we had was that we were situated in a room next to a teenage school group that were not sufficiently supervised by their teachers. I asked them politely to turn the volume down, however al... Read more

I was in here for 3 minutes and I got ripped off, so I can only imagine what it's like to stay here overnight... There is a sign outside for an EC geldautomat to withdraw money, I have used these before and have not been charged for the withdrawal. I get automatic texts from the bank when I withdraw so I always know how much they charge. The machine in here charged 5 euros and there was no notice of this at all before the cash was dispensed. Afterwards, I went to the desk and told the people wor... Read more
