I stayed at the Park in for one night on a business trip to Berlin. The staff at reception was very friendly and welcoming, which made the check in very easy and convenient. The room was a good size and everything in working order. Also very comfortable and really nice views of the city! The location of the hotel is very good with hotels and little markets all around at the time of my stay. It is also very easy to get onto the underground from the hotel as the station is just outside. Ther... Read more

There were no queues when we checked in just after lunch. We did the early check-out the night before leaving as we saw longer queues during our 4 night stay. You can leave your case in the luggage store on your last day - they give you a receipt and there was a staff member there all the time. Staff were always helpful and informative. I booked a business room with B & B - you got a desk (for make-up, rollers etc). We were on 20th floor so great views (although opposite side to TV tower but ... Read more

This hotel is well placed but let down by staff. At check-in and check-out there were insufficient staff to handle the number of guests. I was asked for my credit card even though the room was pre-booked and I would pay cash for any purchases. System totally inflexible and I could not check-in without a card. I will not use this hotel again.

This hotel has a great location, and is close to public transport and the hop on/hop off tours stops right out the front. They have a lovely restaurant in the lobby which has delicious food and great service. We ate there twice during our stay, and both times were quite good. Downside to this hotel, Wifi is not free - however ask to become a club member and then you will get free Wifi. It is a bit of a pain seeing as most hotels around the world offer free Wifi without having to sign up for mem... Read more

Large hotel with not to many frills. Rooms are clean and efficient. If possible try to get a room in high floors facing the communication tower and Alexanderplatz. Great location in the very center of the place. Sometimes there is a long queue at reception!! Be careful with planning the check out !

This hotel is at Alexanderplatz in Berlin. A nice hotel with really nice view. Of course the view depends on wich floor you´re in. I was in 29th. The rooms are more ore less standard size. A spescial thing to take into consideration before you choose this hotel is the bathroom "layout". The romms does´nt have a bathroom, but it is integrated in the room. A separat toilet part, only with glass wall. The same with the shower. The sink is in the room, a curne separates it from the bed. Not the pl... Read more

The presentation is initially great. Beautiful landscape, main lobby cool, clean, fresh. Ice water and orange juice for customers waiting. We were part of a package vacation (timeshare), the Welcome center friendly, quick turnover with out tickets and vouchers ... then it all went to crap. We had a great stay at this hotel thanks to a last minute deal. We stayed for 2 nights and were immediately impressed by the great central location of the hotel - which has excellent transport links in the heart of a shopping/commercial district in Alexanderplatz. The hotel is 40 stories high, and is an easy landmark when walking in the local area to orient yourself. You can go to the top for ?4 - a cheaper option than the TV Tower with good views. My husband and I stayed here for five nights at the begging of June 16. We enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with this hotel and it's central location. Near to transport routes and reasonable walking distance to all major sites. Unfortunately no free wifi and the cost is very high. Luckily I had internet on my phone! Also visited Potsdam which I highly recommend.

I have just come back from staying at this hotel and I was happy with my stay. I went on my own as a single female traveler, and this hotel was perfect. The Hop on and off buses stop right outside the main entrance, the popular tourist sights are all pretty close to work to, plenty of shop, bars and restaurants, walking distance to the tram, and trains. It is also across the street from the TV Tower, so if you are ever in doubt of how to get back to the hotel just look for that. It made things a... Read more

This establishment - oddly called an Inn now - was once the Forum Hotel after it was built by the Worker and Farmer State of former East Germany. It was built for hard currency spending tourists and the so-called nomenclature. A few of the former GDR erected buildings were torn down because they were just plain ugly, too political or contained too much asbestos. This building was probably too big to tear down. Its ugliness is mind boggling. There is even a trace of the in the GDR days ubiqu... Read more

Great hotel if you don't mind queuing for an hour to check in. The rooms offer no privacy as the bathroom facilities are behind glass partitions. Beds comfy enough but ask for extra pillows and you can't open a window for fresh air. There is also no where to unpack your clothes so we lived out of our suitcase. How do hotels make most money? Is it the bus tour one night guest and then move on? Is it the business professional in town for a two day conference? Or is it the repeat guest who keeps coming back once, sometimes twice, a year? After 11 visits to the one hotel, you would assume that we must really like the place. In fact, this was a genuine 'one more chance' stay to see if we could like it as much in the past. As you wait in line at what can be a substantial queue there is a sign at the recep... Read more

The staff were fine once you got there, it was just getting there! Our room was warm and we were informed that the hotel doesn't have air con, but has instead an air cooling system that, in the words of one of the staff, "If it's 35 degrees outside, your room would only be at best FIVE degrees cooler." Thankfully the outside temperature was no... Read more

The hotels is used by bus companies so be aware of large groups who wants to check in or check out at the same time. The queue can be quite long. The rooms are small with a glas door for the toilette. The beds are super hard and a small pillow per bed that does not support anything. It is also a small smell of stuffy in the corridors. Then after we check out from the hotel and plan to leave the bags in the luggage room. But first then informed that we can only do that to a fee of ? 2 per bag... Read more

This was our second stay in this hotel. The major plus points include its location and the breakfast. Situated right on Alexanderplatz, you are within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and sights - the Fernsehtur is right on the doorstep - and the sightseeing buses stop right out front. You also have the U-bahn and tram just a few steps away, so the rest of Berlin is easily accessible. The room was comfortable - we had an interior suite - which unfortunately does not have a view.... On top of that there was no tea/coffee in the room except for the last day, the towels were the most basic I have ever encountered and cleaners entered my room on at least 3 occa... Read more

Very large Hotel . friendly staff and clean rooms. Everything worked well in the room, travelling solo on a Ledger Tour, so used spare pillow as existing was a bit flat. Internet very expensive a 10 euro a day. Good TV with BBC News, nice shower. Air Con a bit noisy can could not find anyway to turn it off. Having said that it was a comfortable room with great views over the city. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Would stay again.

For some reason the direct bus from Tegel to Alexander Platz was cancelled, so we had to change at Berlin Central where the U2 was also cancelled. Hm... When we finally found the hotel we had to wait for 40 minutes for check-in. That is a very long time even with the glass of water we got. We had booked two double rooms for single use which turned out to be a good decision because the rooms are quite small and with almost open bathrooms. The rooms were nice and quite well equipped but strangely ... Read more

The location is great, right next to Alexanderplatz which has a train station and shops. It is easy to get around the city using the trains or the city sightseeing hop on/off bus goes right from outside the hotel. You can also get a train for 3.30 euros from the airport to Alexanderplatz. The view from our room was excellent, we could see the TV tower. The room was modern and very clean. However only one very flat cushion was supplied each, 2 would have been better. We would have asked for t... Read more

This hotel is clean, comfortable and right next to all transport links at Alexanderplatz. We asked for extra pillows and they were brought up straight away and an issue with a blocked sink was also resolved straight away and efficiently. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Bar had a nice atmosphere at night. Would recommend and stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights last week and we loved it. We done all the 'tourist' things and it was an ideal location for everything! The transport is fantastic from the hotel. If we go to berlin again, we will definitely be staying here and strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to be centre. We also had a fantastic view for our room on floor 33!

Another stay at the Park inn on Alexanderplatz and still the same mixed feeling about this hotel. Positive : Great views from most rooms, specially corner upper rooms with city views. We visited Berlin for the first time and came in on a packge deal. We slept 3 nights at the "park inn" hotel and were extremly dissapointment. Except for beeing very good located on the eastern side by means of transportion, and good shopping, there is nothing else at this hotel. The lobby is ugly, like entering a train station. The room had a nice view over looking the city, but was tinny and narrow, and that was after we upgraded the room for 30? per night. The bothroom was tinny and ... Read more

Stayed from 28. oct to 1. nov 2016. Rooms clean and nice, bed really nice, not too soft, not too hard. Room service efficient. Irritating to not have free internet connection, 10 euros per day for a full day connection is quite a lot and it was patchy at best and I couldn't connect my phone to the net even though it said three devices. Some of my group couldn't connect to the net at all. Come on! it's 2016 and these things should just work! Breakfast was OK but the big breakfast hall stank of t... Read more

Our room was 1916 and had a great view of the tv tower and surrounding city. Beware that the bathroom is part of the room (a small shock for us). I had a one night stay in this establishment a few days ago and was really disappointed for two reasons. Even though the room was fully paid (through amoma.com), the hotel charged me 4.50 euros for something they called "city tax". Nice hotel, good location, clean, good breakfast. Only moans are that you can buy a coffee down the road and enjoy free WiFi all day but some hotels like this one charge you by the minute. In this day and age in a modern luxury hotel I think it's ludicrous. Staff friendly, tho one on the desk was a bit frosty with us when we checked in. Food in the hotel was nice. On check in our room wasn't ready so they offered us a free upgrade (I was worried having no windows but really didn't need to be). Plenty of choice for breakfast. I would recommend it.
