What a treat! We showed up after spending a week touring all of the surrounding islands via catamaran. They welcomed is essentially with open arms, gave us a cold drink and a cold wash cloth to cool down. We were at the end of the pontoon room #27 which cost us a little more. I'm not sure I would do that again, but I didn't lay eyes on any other room to compare, it's only because the walk is SO long. Don't get me wrong, I'm not lazy and I love to walk, abs the privacy/view out there is AMAZIN... Read more

My husband and I went from 5 days in Moorea to 5 in Bora Bora. This was a "bucket list" trip for us, and the research we put into this was excruciating! ;) The reason for the five star rating is not just the price, but the STAFF! I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff - ALL of them! A special shout out to Julien and Camiel!! They were always so kind, extremely helpful and very professional! MAJOR thanks to them! :) Our OWB was nice/clean and quiet, the walk to and from the pool was ... Read more

We stayed in an over the water bungalow for our 25th anniversary. Can't fault anything about this place. Very intimate. Boat shuttle to other Intercontinental hotel which is larger expands your options. Truly magical experience. Very friendly staff. My wife needed medical attention for a sinus/ headache issue and they called a doctor to our room. He brought meds and the cost was extremely reasonable considering the circumstances. Few dining options but no complaints about the quality of anythin... Read more

Just returned with my wife from 3days in Moorea and 5 in Bora Bora at the InterContinental Le Moana. We had a terrific time. We were in over water bungalow 24. It was wonderful. The glass coffee table in the living room enables you to watch the tropical fish swim by. Or, you can just get right in the water from your deck an snorkle to your heart's content. Breakfast is a full buffet that includes everything you could ask for; eggs to order, fruit, waffles, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, you name it.... Read more

I just checked out of the Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana. I had an amazing stay!!!! One of my best, if not the best, hotel I have stayed. The site, the over water bungalows are amazing. The bungalow decor is very authentic. All the staff is so friendly...always willing to go above your expectations. At the hotel restaurant, the food was amazing and Yohan was an amazing host. This place is heaven on earth You never want to go back home

Everything was heavenly. My daughter and I liked all of the servers and our little side trips were very informative, the rooms were great, loved the fish viewing from the coffee tables, all was very neat and clean and the wifi man came and fixed our connections whenever anything went off track. Loved everything.

I inadvertently reviewed another similar hotel with the same name here on TripAdvisor when I meant to review this one in Bora Bora. The hotel is very nice. We stayed in one of their "private bungalows on the water" facing the horizon next to the very last bungalow via Exclusive Resorts as members. The room was gorgeous! Our bed was decorated with beautiful scented plumeria. The coffee table is a see-through glass where it can be opened to watch the colorful fish. Fish food is provided so e... Read more

Everyone wants to go to Bora Bora and stay in a bungalow over the water. Well look no more. This is perfect place to meet those dreams and see paradise. Not a large hotel I would say just the right size. If your room is over the water or beach side you can't get any better than here. The food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The endless pool is super relaxing and right next to the bar. All the toys are free paddle board. Kayak snookle gear whatever you need.

I was actually here in September of 2014, but I didn't have a TripAdvisor account then and when you put in month visited it wouldn't let me go back that far. Anyway this resort is BEAUTIFUL, but all the resorts in Bora Bora are beautiful. We stayed in an over the water bungalow and it was the closest to heaven I have ever been. The only problem was that the bed wasn't very comfortable, BUT ITS FINE, you're in paradise you shouldn't be sleeping the day away anyway. The views are breathtaking, and... Read more

My wife (49), son (19), daughter (21), Mom (78), cousin (31) and me (49) just got back from spending two nights at the Intercontinental in Bora Bora and a 7 day Society Island cruise with the Paul Gauguin cruiseline. This review pertains to the Intercontinental Le Moana in Bora Bora. Overall the property is lovely, manicured, and primely located. The people are all about service. The food is good, but somewhat of a letdown when compared to the 5-star food we got aboard the Paul Gauguin. O... Read more
