Stayed at this hotel on my way through France and it was the 1st hotel I came to having got off the motorway and heading into Dijon. A little out of the way for town. A very expensive bar and when I arrived in the evening there was no hot water. Additionally there was none the next morning when I lefty at around 6am. Mentioning it to the receptionist resulted in the continental shoulder shrug as opposed to any form of explanation or apology.

On our round trip trough France we made a stop in Dijon. Without a reservation earlier and traveling with our for legged "child" I looked up online some accommodations. One thing lead to another and booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express. Got there and we were nicely welcomed, the room was prepared for our dog, very helpful personell. Rooms were more nice than expected for that money (standard 2 person room). In the morning we had a nice mix of French breakfast, All I can say that is my thi... Read more

For an overnight stop or for a couple of nights, we find this hotel ideal. Clean, comfortable room and bed. Has a bar and has a couple of restaurants, one steak the other fish within a minutes walk. Decent breakfast with good choice, ample safe parking, has reasonable WiFi and particularly convenient for heading south or north. Accor, Campanile and other cheap French hotels have a lot to learn from the good ole USA.

Stayed overnight last Thursday on way back to channel port. Great location, easy to find and convenient for motorway. Plenty parking space. Efficient, friendly staff. Comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Competitive rates. God to get discount for restaurants adjacent. We ate at one and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Would stay there again and would highly recommend.

Stayed over on the way to South of France and England v Russia. The usual holiday inn style, clean, tidy and staff very helpful. Breakfast was your usual French style with all all food piping hot. Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Pretty busy with football fans how we staff still had time to tend to your needs.

We found that this hotel suites our needs superbly. The accommodation was clean, modern and there was a bar and swimming pool on site. Breakfast is included - which had cooked and continental breakfast options - the pain au chocolates and local gingerbreads were amazing. Free parking is provided on site. Great quality for the price point and only a short drive into Dijon.

We stayed here on our way to Calais. We were pleased to find very good parking facilities on our arrival and were more than happy with the room we stayed in. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was included and not bad to what some hotels provide We will definitely stay here again, it was a short walk to a few restaurants adjoining the parking and made a perfect one night stop

We stayed for one night on our way to the south of France. The hotel is conveniently placed just off the main route. Check in was seamless and the staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The room was also very quiet and we had a good night's sleep. Reception gave us some discount coupons for a couple of the local restaurants (which are within walking distance) and the buffet breakfast at the hotel was ver... Read more

We stayed here on our way to Switzerland. The room size was just right, and we loved that it had a simple, modern style. Breakfast was simple, yet delicious and filling. The dining area was spacious, and you can actually mingle with the other guests. Too bad we only stayed for a night!

I had chosen this hotel because of its location just off the motorway, but I had a very good surprice. It's a nice hotel very close to the city center (5min by car). The staff has been great with a lot of helpful suggestions on food, parking, visiting.

Slammed the Motor Home into the car park and raced to check in - very proficient and English well spoken here. A stop-over on the way to Marseilles for Euro 2016 it was ideal to sleep in a sensible bed and although we missed breakfast due to the early start everything seemed ship shape and Bristol Fashion. Do check the windows close properly - ours didn't and bits of metal fell off when closed hard...... very odd

About 10 minutes off the Autoroute at just the right distance from Calais after a days drive this modern HI Express is superb. I have stayed in several and this is the best. Clean, modern with helpful English speaking staff and an excellent help your self breakfast. Three local restaurants (fast burger etc, a fish and US type diner) within 100m.

Very pleased with everything this hotel has to offer. Easy to find within 10 minutes of all major A roads around Dijon. Very friendly check in and although no food on offer at hotel on Saturday evening they were more than happy to suggest and reserve at one of the local restaurants, some within a short walk from hotel. Accessible room was the largest we have come across in any hotel including 5* Secure parking, small pool and bar on site

Husband is a big fan of this chain. I am not. One night stop was OK, good clean bathroom, clean comfortable bed. But - tiny pool was closed when wwe arrived (would have loved to go swimming) and room felt very impresonal. Good choice at self-serve buffet breakfast. However, when we returned on our journey back, (without prebooking) hot, sweaty and tired, instead of being greeted with a smile (or even, how nice to see you again) the lady receptionist beamed and said 'complet' , ie, full. New hotel in the IHG chain (we used the other Holiday Inn last time in Dijon). Dijon is very convenient as a mid point stopover on our way home from Provence & this new hotel is quite convenient to the autoroute. Very helpful & welcoming staff who took trouble to ensure we had a comfortable stay (you are allways a bit glum on the way home so a friendly face is always welcome). The rooms as usual with this chain are comfortable, functional & well serviced. Breakfast is included in the rate & w... Read more

Nice hotel to stay overnight. Very friendly staff and the rooms are good. A small restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Gated parking place for safe parking. The hotel is easy to reach from the toll-way. The airport of Dijon is also quite close.

Booked in the afternoon on the day of the stay - very helpful reception who spoke good English. Just off A31 so didn't waste journey time. Outdoor pool was a hit with children (6 and 18 months). Travel cot no extra charge. Breakfast included (which is hard to find in France). On a site with a fish restaurant, fast food burger 'Quick' restaurant with indoor play area and Courtepaille restaurant grill where we ate. Open 11-11pm 7 days a week which suited us with the children not having to wait unt... Read more

The hotel is just off the A31on the Dijon ring road, about half way through France on the way south. It is situated in a complex comprising the hotel and several restaurants. Parking is secure. A typical modern Holiday Inn. It felt up-market from the Express brand. The hotel is new, well furnished and rooms are well equipped with air-con. There is even a small swimming pool. Staff were helpful and very friendly; reception staff spoke perfect English. Breakfast was included in the price which ... Read more

Good things first: very friendly, very helpful, quite knowledgeable front-desk staff and highly-efficient service personnel. Swimming pool (although open to view from lobby, bar, breakfast room and parking lot) and AC (a given for IHG hotels). Nice bar area, but they can't make cocktails, only straights and highballs. Bad things second. Awful bathroom: no shower cap, soap & shampoo is only from liquid dispensers of an oily substance and no conditioner, no hand lotion, no outlet for curling i... Read more

This is the second year we have stayed here for a pit stop en-route to and from our annual family holiday. Having stayed at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Troyes for numerous previous years we find Dijon to be a more convenient point to rest on the journey and access off the toll motorway is quicker and easier. The hotel is a new, clean, modern, but simply appointed facility and the front desk staff were once again friendly, informative and speak excellent English. This year we took our dog along as ... Usually reliable for a stopover but some niggles, the aircon in-room controls only the fan, not the temperature which is dictated by the hotel. Summer apparantly finishes in Dijon on Sept.1. Difficult to sleep above 24centigrade, fingers out please. Ever had a French breakfast without fresh baguettes? Stay here and enjoy defrosted rolls. The hotel has now decided to charge 10 euros for an extra person above one in double and twin rooms. You have to admire their cheek, state the price for a twin/... Read more

We stayed for 4 nights whilst visiting family in the nearby CHU Hospital. Whilst the location itself is really on the outskirts of town (perfect for overnight stay passing through, business travellers, or for those needing access to the hospital) it is the warm service provided by the staff that made our experience. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and the rooms were well appointed. The cafe/bar area was fine, and the self-serve style breakfast was simple but sufficient. There was no dining... Read more

This is a new property and follows the expected Holiday Inn Express model found throughout Europe. The rooms were very nice and the staff was outstanding. There is a very generous parking lot so there is no worry about where to park as is so often the case in Europe. The location is one of it's biggest attractions. It is right off of a major motorway which makes it both easy to find and easy to leave and explore the area. We walked into Dijon easily but there is a trolley location within a ... Read more

Stayed overnight to break the journey from Provence to the UK. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the rooms were spotless. There is a restaurant and bar and a shopping centre next door with more eateries. And it's just off the motorway so the location is perfect. Highly recommended.
