Our daughter lives in Paris and we have made the W Opera our "home" each time we visit (easily 6 times in 2 years). Staff: Always, always friendly and helpful, plus very attentive. Helped us navigate a taxi strike and got us transport to airport, plus normal city hints. Rooms: They are a bit quirky and very "W" (music, decor & design, names), but tell them what you want in room and they will make it happen. Always clean and delicious to return after long day walking. Love Bliss products! Foo... Read more

Just finished my 3rd stay at this property and felt compelled to write a review. The staff here are excellent and their attention to detail is unparalleled. One of the cleanest & quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. The bed is the usual fantastic W comfort and the blackout curtains and thick windows ensure a blissful sleep. Looking forward to my next stay!

The W Hotel Paris is tucked away on a small street facing the famed Opera House, the sleek entrance added to an air of exclusivity. We were warmly greeted by the staff that upon finding out we were visiting Paris for our 10 year wedding anniversary upgraded up to a WOW suite that was truly a WOW! The ammenites were top notch and a large size which was a nice bonus. To our surprise a bottle of Champagne, a lovely dessert and a personalized note was sent up to our room to help us settle in and e... Read more

Arrived at CDG and took the Roissey bus to the Opera station which was around the corner from the hotel. This was a big advantage for us as we had luggage and didn't want to use the metro or taxi. Staff, rooms and location were perfect!

This lovely hotel offers all the wonderful amenities that W Hotels are known for. When you step through the doors a welcoming doorman is there to assist you, the lobby staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Our room was just the perfect size, very clean, quiet and well equipped. This hotel is in the Opera District, but its a very easy walk to other famous Paris sights or to hop on the train or bus. Restaurant in the hotel is delicious and so convenient.

As usual it was a nice stay at another SPG hotel ..Here are some pros and cons : Pros : 1) Front desk and Concierge members are helpful 2) Property is beautiful 3) Location is amazing ....In front of opera ...and near famous "Galeries Lafayette" 4) Breakfast for corporates ( 18 EUR) is great value for money Cons: 1) Room service can be tardy and slow ...I was once told it takes 30 minutes to get water in room...which I thought was unacceptable ... 2) Rooms are smaller ( but I guess this is mor... The hotel is located in Opera which is very convenient for our shopping trip. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with latest technology. Hotel staffs are very professional except the staffs in the hotel restaurant that made many unhappy customers every morning, services were non existent and you will have hard time trying to understand your bills. You would be charged something that you had never ordered! Our conclusion is that you would enjoy your stay in the hotel as long as you would spe... Read more

The W Opera is in a great location - very convenient to walk to Lourve, Tuileries, etc., and also Metro accessible with two Metro lines a block away. We were welcomed with champagne for our honeymoon and a lovely note from the hotel staff. The concierge was helpful and the staff was warm and pleasant. Our standard king room was very small. There is no privacy between bed and bath area and the modern stall shower tends to lead to water going everywhere. The lighting is very dim and the space i... Read more

We have stayed at W Paris twice, once over Christmas in 2015 and once in March 2016. Both times we stayed in one of their suites (thanks to suite nights by spg and upgrades due to our platinum status). The hotel is in great location and the staff are polite, professional with your spg status duly recognized. The concierge was helpful and very obliging in helping out with restaurant reservations and recommendations. The rooms are of a good size for Paris standards (at least the suites were adequa... Checked in for 3 nights on the 5th June with my wife. The entire check in experience was seamless. I had already upgraded myself as a platinum member into a suite. The suite was stylish but small, offering views of the Opera House. The concierge and all staff never anything too difficult and managed all my requests very professionally. I began my trip to Paris in the Westin near the Vendome area. The rooms there were very traditional and boring. I had never stayed at a W hotel, so I was pleased by the ambiance when I walked into the front lobby. I was greeted by a great receptionist who spoke great English. After a short wait, my room was available. I had used my suite night awards from SPG to upgrade my room to a marvelous suite. When I first entered the room, I almost couldn't believe it. I had high expectations for this hotel - I love W properties. This hotel is ok - clean, eclectic vibe; but it's absolutely not worth the price that it goes for. My wife and I used SPG points (it's a category 6) for 5 nights and we weren't that impressed. The hotel is in a good location - central Opera with easy access to the metro. However, the rooms in the hotel are very small (typical of most Parisian hotels though) and we never felt like the service/amenities at the hotel matched the cost... Read more

Hotel is in a great location in the very heart of Paris. Staff were very helpful and polite, went the extra mile for me, including making me a much needed double expresso in the early hours of the morning. Rooms aren't the largest but this is to expected of a central Paris hotel. Food is also of a good standard.

Impressed with the luxury level, location and the attentiveness of the hotel staff. Opera, Galleries Lafayette, train station, cafes and restaurants all around the hotel, it's very easy to plan summer sale shopping, meals and sight seeing at W Opera. We manage to walk to the Louvre, Saint Honore, Madeline ... without getting onto public transport. Must stay!

If you are traveling from CDG the Roissy bus takes you right to the Opera. And next door to Galleries Lafayette.... The staff was exceptional! The is a hotel with an identity crisis, Although in one of the best locations in Paris, it is not a 4 or 5 star luxury hotel although it is charges $500 - $900 and more per night. The guest suite décor is trying to be trendy but it is actually now dated. The furniture and layout is totally dysfunctional. I stayed in the W with other members of my family during a recent visit. My children & I had a nice suite with large bathroom and closet. The others in our party had tiny rooms with "open bathroom" floor plans that were not comfortable. The hotel is in a great location right opposite the Opera house and a short walk to Galleries Lafayette. The wifi is a good speed, the room clean, staff very helpful and overall the hotel is modern. The shower is great as it has glass and is separate - not over a bath and no tacky shower curtains! There is a gym however it is small with only two treadmills and not a wide selection of weights. We will stay here again.

Location is great, staff service was fantastic. We were on the 1st (really 2nd) floor, facing the Opera, so had a great view. The windows are thick and the A/C kept us cool, but the noise level on Saturday night from the outdoor restaurant across the street made sleeping an issue...when we got up at 4 am to catch an early flight, they were still partying. Stayed here with the family 7/22-25 and really enjoyed it! An intimate hotel with all the premium W touches but feels more like a charming boutique. The staff couldn't have been nicer and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, from the front desk to the concierge to the doormen.
