My grandma and I visited Paris for the first time and found this hotel online. Once we got there, we were greeted and our room was ready even though it wasn't even check in time yet. It is the cutest Parisian hotel and the staff is AMAZING. The breakfast in the morning is the best, with delicious baguettes, meat, and cheese, fresh juices, coffee/cappuccino maker, and fresh oats and fruit! The staff is the nicest people ever and we felt so welcomed at this hotel. It is also in a nice location nex... Read more

It's right across from Pigalle Metro station, so it is really convenient for metro users. And the hotel itself is campy and crazy rococo in style. If the price were not as cheap as it is, I would give this hotel a thumbs down, but getting a hotel in any major city for less than $100 is amazing. That makes this hotel a winner. My room was small, but clean enough. The velvet appointments are fun, but campy and tired. My room also had a Jacuzzi - which is kind of great, but I would have preferred ... Read more

We came with my sister to Paris for a concert in La Cigale. This hotel was a perfect place to stay for us, 5 minutes walk from the concert hall. The access from the Gare du Nord station to the hotel is very easy. We where really surprised by the decor in Villa Royale and we loved our room named Moulin Rouge! The staff were friendly and helpful, they gave us maps with the neighbourhood and make sure that our visit was pefect! We had a wonderful weekend in Paris. We would definitly stay here again... Hotel is in a very trendy place I would say. a lot of restaurants, bars and sex shops (plenty of them). I wouldn't say area is very safe, been aproached several times by strange people... front desk staff very very friendly and polite, they let you sit down on comfy sofas during check in and helpful answering any questions or making reservations if needed. Breakfast was ok, but not great. continental with little hot bit, watery eggs and one day they out out some bacon also. Hotel very beautiful,... Read more

We came with my boyfriend for a romantic stay in Paris and we choosed Villa Royale for 2 nights. It was the best choice ! We had such a romantic view from our window, Sacre CÅ?ur Basilique just in front of us. The room with jacuzzi named Yves Saint Laurent was awsome, the bed was so comfortable. At the reception desk they recommended us a delicious restaurant in Abesses, few minutes from the hotel. We couldn't have found a better place to stay!

With delicious food.Interesting area. Great spot for reaching every touristy location and to take in local everydays life. I, my girlfriend and my Charmander went on a trip to Paris. We came to Paris to catch the best pokemon and beat everyone in the gyms. After a hard day to catch 'em all, we went to the hotel. We got in the royal room. Great room, great bed, great WiFi and no noise in a busy neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is busy of a lot of pokemon trainers. You got 2 pokestops right at the hotel. Just chill in the big warm bath and you have 2 pokestops in range. Put a lure module on a pokestop and all pokemons... Read more

The hotel is located very close to Pigalle metro station. About 3 minutes walk. The hotel and its rooms are decorated in rococo style, so the decoration was quiet interesting. For the decoration and design, one gonna like it or hate it. The room was well-equipped with good cleanliness throughout. One of the best part is the view from my room which overlook Place Pigalle. This is better than many hotels in Paris where your room would actually face the building on the other side of small street. ... Read more

I chose this hotel because the pictures and description made it look like it would give me a hotel experience unlike any other. It does not disappoint. I loved the older style decorations while also having the comforts and amenities of a more modern hotel. It felt like I was being transported to early 1900s France. It is located across from the Pigalle metro station which is very convenient. There are stores for food and basics near by as well. Because I had been to Paris a number of times,... Read more

A wonderful traditional hotel. We were made very welcome, and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean, with clean soft towels and fresh soaps etc. The room had air conditioning, but it could have done with being a little more powerful, but at least it was there. All the staff were lovely and happy to speak in either French or English. Did not try the food, as there was a whole city to explore and eat in. All in all, I would recommend as a fair price, clean, frie... Read more

Without any sign outside you have to know the exact address to enter this little palace between Moulin Rouge and naughty shops. Tasteful interior decoration, very friendly staff and everything handy that you might need. Great street view without any noise. Near Montmartre.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of our month long tour of France. We wanted to stay in Montmartre area as there is so much to see and visit in this area of Paris. To say that we were a little taken aback by the decor of this hotel is an understatement. My husband seems to be overwhelmed by the style of the decor while I was amazed by the colour schemes and thought that we had been transported back to the Baroque time of Paris and enjoyed the experience immensely. ... Very interesting district to be in, makes for a great base from which to explore Paris. Montmartre and all of its interesting sights are two seconds away, ditto with the metro. Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The bed was clean, however the curtains not very. The view from the top balcony was great. Would definitely come back!

My husband and I stayed here for six nights on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. The staff members were incredible, the location in Montmartre was perfect for adventure (very short walk to Moulin Rouge which is a must see) and the rooms (although ours was small) had more French charm one could hope for! The area can get loud on weekends but it's still 100% worth it. We felt safe, secure, cozy and well looked after by the 24/7 staff who were very friendly and kind. We travelled to othe... Read more

This hotel is the bling, the bold and the beautiful all in one. Stylish and in a baroque style you will feel like you have walked into a museum!!! The decorations throughout the hotel are amazing, just brilliant, great location in the place of Pigalle, pretty view of the Sacre Coeur if u look out the window. the rooms are made for people who are in love, we stayed in the Louis Vitton room which has a jacuzzi bath , the bath itself was great, the jacuzzi function I think was broken, but it didn't... If you are used to large hotel chains, modern facilities and hotels, minimalism, serenity, calm decor etc this is not the place for you. Allowed my company to book me hotel in L'Opera and somehow ended up here. Quirky, strange and sure some will love it. After booking this location I noticed that it was in the red light district, this was a major concern for me. Fear not travellers. We never encounter any problems in fact it was an excellent location with Pignalle Metro on your door step including the local buses. During the night it is busy including a few night clubs, but this was behind the hotel so it didnt cause us any problems. We went to the Moulin Rouge during the day, this was within walking distance in the center of the red light d... Read more

For our third visit to Paris, we were looking for something a bit more unique. The Villa Royale provided this. Our room was Yves St Laurent on the 5th floor. The jacuzzi bath was a nice touch and the view of the Sacre Coeur from the little balcony/ french doors was amazing to wake up to every morning. You're literally in the heart of Pigalle so be prepared for noise, especially at the weekend. It didn't disturb our sleep but remember you're in the heart of a city and a party district at that! Our room was Jean-Paul Gauthier. Walking distance to Montmartre. The manager even help me print my plane ticket to come back home. Beat holiday ever in Paris.
