In past years we had been staying in Paris at the Marriott hotel on Champs Elysee . For a change we decided to go the Renaissance Hotel Vendome. This is near Place Vendome, near the Tuileries garden, so very close to many of the places a visitor may wish to go to. It is a great location. The room: we obtained an "upgraded" room as Marriott elite members. The room is small, the bathroom has a shower and a toilet with their own doors (nice)and a narrow bathtub, The queen-size bed has bedclothes w... Read more

We were her for a week and loved the location, place and people. The rooms are ultra modern and nicely done, but they are SMALL and a little impractical. One of our cases had to sit in the armchair for the week - there was simply nowhere else to put it. The staff are fabulous. Exceptional. Loved the breakfast restaurant and the staff. A fabulous place and if the room were a little more practical, this would be a 5 star review.

Excellent service and comfortable rooms. I stayed here for work but would come back for vacation. The "superior" room is spacious and well-decorated. The room was overlooking the street in front of the hotel but noise was silenced by super plush black-out curtains with sides fastened to the window frame by Velcro to keep out sound and light. The workspace is modest-sized and well-lit, with outlets by the desk and bedside table for electronics. Excellent buffet breakfast with made to order e... Read more

The excellent location just one block off the Rue du Rivoli and Rue St Honore makes this boutique hotel perfect. Walk to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsey and l'Orangerie in one direction and high end shopping in the other. The staff at the hotel are all knowledgable about the area and helpful. We stayed here on four different trips, love it every time.

The location of this hotel was great. Very convenient for walkers or people using the metro. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. All of them spoke English and went out of their way to help. One of them actually was off duty, saw us on the street and we asked her where the restaurant that we were looking for was. She didn't hesitate and walked with us to make sure we got there. the concierge service was terrific. The availability of coffee in the morning (VERY STRONG) and little c... Read more

The Renaissance is located on a quiet street, a two minute walk from Place Vendome in one direction, The Tuileries Gardens in the other. The feel is modern-tasteful and while it doesn't shout 5 stars in the way that larger, gaudier places do, its staff and amenities are first class. We stayed in the Art and Gallery suite, which is one bedroom and a sitting room. Both rooms are small, but each has a bathroom. It's not high-ceiling, marble bath type luxury, and other rooms at the hotel may be m... Read more

My wife and I recently spent 8 nights at the Renaissance Paris Vendome. We used points plus cash to upgrade to the larger "prestige" room. The best part of the stay was the location of the hotel near the Seine, Tuleries, Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre, and Notre Dame and that the room was extremely quiet. Plus, the staff generally was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the quality of our room and the nightly turn down service did not live up to the hotel's "5-star" billing. The room furnishings... We only stayed here for one night on our honeymoon (basically a long layover as we traveled home) but really enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there was a great breakfast buffet with many options (although I believe this was only comped because of my husband's Marriott status). They even helped coordinate in an in-room surprise for us from our friends back home in Texas (champagne, roses and dessert waiting in our - kindly upgraded - room). So we chose to move to a real hotel that could be depended on for comfort and a concierge and lucked out with the Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel. Service was spectacular. This little gem is located on a quiet side street in a prime location of Paris. A stones throw away from key tourist attractions and a range of dining restaurants near by. Rooms are on the small side but that is expected in Paris. Comfortable bed but the pillows are either too hard or too soft. Bathroom is a decent size and it comes with the bathing products. I stayed at the Vendome Renaissance back in April 2016 and it's one of the best hotels in I have stayed at in Paris! The location is amazing, short walking distance to the Tuileries, the breakfast was just perfect, but above all the service was superb. I also had a chance to use the fitness center, spa and pool....all made my stay very special. Can't wait to go back!

This wonderful Renaissance property is a real taste of Paris. Incredibly close to the Louvre, Tuilleries, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and Arc d'Triomphe. If walking isn't for you, there's easy access to all transportation across the city. The staff ALWAYS goes all out, making me want to stay here every time I can. You'll remember any stay here fondly, I suspect.

We loved this hotel. My husband and I were traveling with our teenage son. We got a junior suite with a separate living room and bedroom. The living room had a pull out couch that was made up as a bed for our son. Because there was a pocket door separating the two rooms, it gave us all some privacy. The bathroom was quite large for a Paris hotel with a separate tub and shower and a separate toilet room. I chose this Renaissance as I felt it would be perfect for a family visit. The hotel overall is lovely and the location wonderful. The Art Gallery suite is certainly not five stars. Absolutely tiny shoe-box of a room, you'll have to climb over your luggage to get into bed. I would not stay in a single room with a significant other. Bathroom is small, but manageable. You're really staying here for the location. Staff is professional. Food/buffet is okay, but not great. Gym is meh, but it is a small hotel. You're best bet for a work-out is to go for a jog.

I arrived in Paris from London around 11 AM. The newly updated Marriott App allowed me to communicate with the hotel prior to arrival and requesting an early check-in. We had to wait a few minutes, but our request was met. The beds are very comfortable. The downside is that I used 45,000 Marriott points and 60 Euros for an upgraded room.
