What can I say about this place? Fantastic location, great rooms, knowledgeable staff, extensive breakfast. Go see for yourself - you won't regret it!! We were here for Christmas and Paris was magic. The only downside was that the restaurant wasn't in action whilst we were there but we knew that in advance and so made alternative arrangements. The Westin is just around the corner as is the Ritz if you wanted to go for dinner. It's a 15 minute walk to the main station at chatelet les halles on ... Read more

I am a Platinum Premier Marriott member. The hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was a great addition to the hotel offering. We really liked the soap which conditioned the water. I'd stay again, for sure.

My husband and I stayed here at the beginning of our trip, prior to Lyon, and after. We found everything about it absolutely wonderful. The staff. Hold not have been kinder and more helpful. Nothing was too much for them, from reservations to touristy ideas to lending us a charger. Breakfast is fabulous. A marvelous selection, both hot and cold. Loved their hot chocolate, every day. David and Elyse, the concierges, were terrific. Their suggestions for dinners were great. They made our stay even ... Read more

A nice hotel, just a block back from the Tuileries and within walking distances of the main art galleries. Not great for local restaurants, but Relais Madeleine is good and not too far away. Good, friendly, helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast.

The staff and people couldn't be nicer and more helpful The location is amazing. Our room was clean each day before we returned. I have no complaints about the service. However I would not consider this a luxury property on par with other 5 star hotels. The room was small but adequate. The shower was tiny and difficult to maneuver in. The cleaning staff was inconsistent with amenities, sometime we got all, sometimes we got a few. There is not a full time bell staff. Usually we had to ask... Read more

The rooms are really old. We booked a standard room - got an upgrade - as we arrived we decided to get a room even bigger because even the upgrade room was terrible, the point is it was dark, horrible smell considering the carpet, very old curtains and even with four windows it would still look dark and too old fashioned (and I don't mean classic! I mean old!) Breakfast was ridiculously expensive considering the quality of the products. Croissants were cold and far away from soft - the orange j... Read more

Just a few of blocks from the Louvre an the Tulieries is this very nice small hotel that is part of the Marriott system. A great location in the 1st to easily see many attractions and close to some wonderful restaurants.. We are part of the Marriott system so we used our points and paid to upgrade to a large King room which is not easy to find. We had to wait to get into our room (Number 3 on the ground floor) It was large and to our surprise had a beautiful patio with a Fantastic Mural painted ... Read more

Loved having so many major attractions within walking distance. Louvre, Pont Neuf, Tuileries, Champs-Elysee, Place de la Concorde. The hotel staff was fantastic answering many questions. The concierge secured many dinner reservations and guided us to the fastest way to get around town and even outside to Chantilly. The beds were great. The shower stall may have been a little small, but there is a separate tub with a shower head as well. I found their 'capsules d'huile' a great touch. Try taking ... Read more

Preface- I'm a Marriott Platinum and stay at Marriott properties around the world, so I'm used to the Marriott standard. I felt the need to give feedback to this hotel because it is in need of a facelift and some staff training. The pros- -great location -good breakfast food The cons- - really mean, unfriendly breakfast attendants. It's hard to get up in the morning and face a 5'2" breakfast nazi. For example, "can we get water?" Her answer: "no, did you not see it on the buffet? It's up th... Read more

This Renaissance hotel is in a prime location. Clean and modern, you can't really go wrong. Used points to stay here or might complain about the price, but considering the location and class of hotel, you can't expect it to be cheap. Would consider to stay here again.
