In past years we had been staying in Paris at the Marriott hotel on Champs Elysee . For a change we decided to go the Renaissance Hotel Vendome. This is near Place Vendome, near the Tuileries garden, so very close to many of the places a visitor may wish to go to. It is a great location. The room: we obtained an "upgraded" room as Marriott elite members. The room is small, the bathroom has a shower and a toilet with their own doors (nice)and a narrow bathtub, The queen-size bed has bedclothes w... Read more

We were her for a week and loved the location, place and people. The rooms are ultra modern and nicely done, but they are SMALL and a little impractical. One of our cases had to sit in the armchair for the week - there was simply nowhere else to put it. The staff are fabulous. Exceptional. Loved the breakfast restaurant and the staff. A fabulous place and if the room were a little more practical, this would be a 5 star review.

Excellent service and comfortable rooms. I stayed here for work but would come back for vacation. The "superior" room is spacious and well-decorated. The room was overlooking the street in front of the hotel but noise was silenced by super plush black-out curtains with sides fastened to the window frame by Velcro to keep out sound and light. The workspace is modest-sized and well-lit, with outlets by the desk and bedside table for electronics. Excellent buffet breakfast with made to order e... Read more

The excellent location just one block off the Rue du Rivoli and Rue St Honore makes this boutique hotel perfect. Walk to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsey and l'Orangerie in one direction and high end shopping in the other. The staff at the hotel are all knowledgable about the area and helpful. We stayed here on four different trips, love it every time.

The location of this hotel was great. Very convenient for walkers or people using the metro. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. All of them spoke English and went out of their way to help. One of them actually was off duty, saw us on the street and we asked her where the restaurant that we were looking for was. She didn't hesitate and walked with us to make sure we got there. the concierge service was terrific. The availability of coffee in the morning (VERY STRONG) and little c... Read more

The Renaissance is located on a quiet street, a two minute walk from Place Vendome in one direction, The Tuileries Gardens in the other. The feel is modern-tasteful and while it doesn't shout 5 stars in the way that larger, gaudier places do, its staff and amenities are first class. We stayed in the Art and Gallery suite, which is one bedroom and a sitting room. Both rooms are small, but each has a bathroom. It's not high-ceiling, marble bath type luxury, and other rooms at the hotel may be m... Read more

My wife and I recently spent 8 nights at the Renaissance Paris Vendome. We used points plus cash to upgrade to the larger "prestige" room. The best part of the stay was the location of the hotel near the Seine, Tuleries, Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre, and Notre Dame and that the room was extremely quiet. Plus, the staff generally was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the quality of our room and the nightly turn down service did not live up to the hotel's "5-star" billing. The room furnishings... Very nice room. We had a king bed. Housekeeping was slow getting our room serviced. Room service meals were very good and prompt. Good location. We walked from the metro to the hotel, however when we left it was raining and we choose a cab to the airport.

We only stayed here for one night on our honeymoon (basically a long layover as we traveled home) but really enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there was a great breakfast buffet with many options (although I believe this was only comped because of my husband's Marriott status). They even helped coordinate in an in-room surprise for us from our friends back home in Texas (champagne, roses and dessert waiting in our - kindly upgraded - room). The location is ideal for sight-... Read more

Our first Paris hotel was a disaster - tiny uncomfortable rooms, terrible service - ugh. So we chose to move to a real hotel that could be depended on for comfort and a concierge and lucked out with the Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel. Service was spectacular. Rooms big and luxuriously comfortable. Location a short walk from the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries, even an enjoyable hike to the Musee Picasso Paris. Great shopping around the corner on the Rue St. Honore and the Rue Castiglione. G... Read more

This little gem is located on a quiet side street in a prime location of Paris. A stones throw away from key tourist attractions and a range of dining restaurants near by. Rooms are on the small side but that is expected in Paris. Comfortable bed but the pillows are either too hard or too soft. Bathroom is a decent size and it comes with the bathing products. There's a gym on the lower ground floor and comes with a swimming pool and sauna facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful.... Read more

I stayed at the Vendome Renaissance back in April 2016 and it's one of the best hotels in I have stayed at in Paris! The location is amazing, short walking distance to the Tuileries, the breakfast was just perfect, but above all the service was superb. I also had a chance to use the fitness center, spa and pool....all made my stay very special. Can't wait to go back!

This wonderful Renaissance property is a real taste of Paris. Incredibly close to the Louvre, Tuilleries, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and Arc d'Triomphe. If walking isn't for you, there's easy access to all transportation across the city. The staff ALWAYS goes all out, making me want to stay here every time I can. You'll remember any stay here fondly, I suspect.

We loved this hotel. My husband and I were traveling with our teenage son. We got a junior suite with a separate living room and bedroom. The living room had a pull out couch that was made up as a bed for our son. Because there was a pocket door separating the two rooms, it gave us all some privacy. The bathroom was quite large for a Paris hotel with a separate tub and shower and a separate toilet room. The staff could not have been more helpful, addressing our every need even before we had th... Read more

I have visited Paris many times and have stayed in many many hotels, from the high end George V and hotel Costes to the lower end best western Le Jardin. I chose this Renaissance as I felt it would be perfect for a family visit. The hotel overall is lovely and the location wonderful. The Art Gallery suite is certainly not five stars. The carpet and furniture are worn hard!! The design is not thoughtful, chairs in the bedroom where a chest would be helpful. Odd tables with no storage in the... Read more

Absolutely tiny shoe-box of a room, you'll have to climb over your luggage to get into bed. I would not stay in a single room with a significant other. Bathroom is small, but manageable. You're really staying here for the location. Staff is professional. Food/buffet is okay, but not great. Gym is meh, but it is a small hotel. You're best bet for a work-out is to go for a jog.

After a lot of research we chose this location based on the many great reviews - and they were right! We stayed here for 12 of 15 days for a vacation and were celebrating an anniversary and a birthday.. We had a junior suite for part of the stay (which was outstanding) and a larger regular room for the rest (also wonderful). But when in Paris you are not in the room that much, right!. For Paris the rooms and accommodation and amenities are excellent. Actually, Paris or not the rooms and accommod... Read more

I arrived in Paris from London around 11 AM. The newly updated Marriott App allowed me to communicate with the hotel prior to arrival and requesting an early check-in. We had to wait a few minutes, but our request was met. The beds are very comfortable. The downside is that I used 45,000 Marriott points and 60 Euros for an upgraded room. I am pretty sure the early arrival may have negated that one. We were on the first floor, crappy view, and a small room (but on the bigger size of small ro... Read more

I just returned from a girls trip to Paris. I suggested this hotel as I had stayed here before. If you want a hotel that is clean, safe, with pleasant staff, this is the place to stay. I used my Marriott points to stay but as there were 3 of us in one room we had to supplement with cash to get a larger room. Don't come to Paris expecting the hotel rooms to be the same size asd in the states. they are smaller, but very well appointed. The staff stored our luggage so we would have more spac... Read more

The location can't be beat with easy access to major sites and short walk to Tuileries (1) and Pyramides (7,14) subway lines. The room was small but well laid out with plenty of storage space; the bath was spacious with good shower in terms of temperature control and water pressure. This is my 5th business trip to Paris, and after a series of quaint french boutique hotels, I craved something that the high end chains always provide: great mattresses/fluffy pillows, large bathroom with a shower ... I've stayed here three times and each time better than the last. The hotel is amazing and wonderful and the bar is a spot to relax as well. Service here is a place to really appreciate as the people love to show you an amazing time. Stay here close to all the restaurants and spots to shop.
