I've just been in this hotel for a week,on my arrival,on a sunday afternoon, I noticed that the hair dryer in th bathroom wasn't working. I told straight away the guy at the reception, who said they were going to fix it yhe morning after.Monday evening, after I had to listen to some very silly excuses,,I've been given an extra towel to dry my hair(mind you ,I've got fairly long hair). I ended up going out and buyng one from a nearby store. The hair dryer never got fixed in a week I was there in the... Read more

I had booked well in advance two rooms for my family in this hotel for 8 days from 24th May to 1st June. On arrival to the hotel we were allotted room no's 101 & 304, one room on the first floor and another on third floor. I explained to the receptionist that I would like my minor children to be close to our room and not on a different floor. The receptionist bluntly told me that they did not have two rooms available on the same floor. When we reached the room we were shocked to see that the ... Read more

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff very helpful and professional. All the time we (me, my wife and daughter 8 years old) were staying there, it was felt like home. I was able to check in an hour early and entertained by the singing of old movie tunes (well it is near Folles Bergere). If you are ok with a small, unrenovated (dirty marks, broken tiles etc) then this is a good budget hotel. Clearly 30 years it was great but they have not spent a cent to maintain it since. The wifi was patchy. Most at reception are friendly with good english. Cute slightly bigger than standard glass walled lift. One of the Housekeepers was amazingly thoughtful. Although on the... We checked in and the front desk sent us to the dirty room, he apologized for the human error. Understandable, instead we got the smaller room barely had any space, but the bathroom was clean and quite bigger. Close to anything, friendly staff and breakfast was good. No view in our room. Clean is all and the housekeeping cleaned up and replaced amenities everyday

This hotel has a great location, it is close to pretty much everything you want to see in Paris. Second the staff is very friendly. Don't be surprise with the rooms, they are very small but comfortable, anyway everything in Europe is really small. so, book this hotel and have fun.

A bad experience. The hotel is dirty, old, and lacks a real air conditioning system. The phones don´t work either. The metro is really close and ther zone is attractive, but service is poor. Difficult to communicate since they don´t talk spanish and the english is too bad. In july, with the heat is difficult to sleep.

Our first trip to Paris! Hotel location is great. Close to metro and a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. We had two adjacent rooms. Rooms were bit small but bathrooms were good size and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Air conditioning could've improved

Used Expedia to book a room for a family at the given hotel. Reservation requested was for 1 room with 2 adults and 2 kids. What was allocated, without due notice to us, was 2 double rooms in this hotel. This was rather challenging, since we were not comfortable with kids sleeping alone, nor us sleeping apart. We arrived late, after 9:30pm after travelling from Amsterdam with a stopover in Brussels - so we were tired already. The hotel had no options to give us. If we moved to their associ... Read more

Room #304, reserved for 2 adults in early September 2016. The room was hot and the airconditioning was non-functioning. The management said that if they couldn't fix the a/c, they would leave a fan in the room for us. As it turned out, they just left a fan in the room since it was obvious there are few functioning a/c units in the building. By leaving the room window open at night, we got a little bit cooler, but we also picked up all of the noises of the families, and sound systems, living ... Read more
