Excellent service, good descent breakfast, warm clean room (with tea coffee facilities), central location (almost next to the train station, where also many buses arrive). Gallery Lafayette is all the way down the street. It even had a bathtub (too small though). Paris is very expensive so this was a good choice.

It was not difficult at all to find the hotel. In terms of location its great. Close to train and metro stations close to pigalle, close to galarie lafayate! So we were very happy with our 4 night stay. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful! There is always someone on the front desk. Also they helped us with booking molin rouge, the elevator a bit small but wasnt an issue. Very narrow corridor and room not vey spacious but still wasnt an issue. So as an overall i was very happy with the h... Read more

Stayed at Opera Deauville for 2 nights. It's a little gem very easy to find. Liege is closest Metro but Saint Lazare also close by and has more lines. The hotel is in a good location lots of bars and restaurants shops.... I chose this hotel due to the closeness for the Roissy bus that goes to the airport. The check in was easy and people friendly could not do enough to help. Yes the hotel is a little outdated and could do with a bit of tlc but it's clean. We didn't spend too long in the hotel ju... We reserved this hotel thinking being close to the saint-lazarre train station would be a plus... Never again. This hotel is on such a busy street it is noisy from dawn til late at night. I read on the various travel sites to ask for a room in the back... and I got it but it still was noisy. Our room was right by the EXTREMELY small elevator (we had to face each other to fit and couldnt carry both of our luggage at the same time) You can feel the trains under the hotel ! The twin room was a litt... Read more

Spent 4 nights here on our short trip to Paris. Great location with Gare Saint Lazare train station across the road, plenty of cafes and bars very near by. Well located for walking to the main tourist attractions and easy to do from here. Our room was comfortable, the decor is somewhat dated, but it provides exactly what you need a good bed to rest up in before your next day of seeing the Paris sights.

We spent three nights at this hotel, having chosen it from the Internet because of its location and price. It turned out to be a great choice. Mr Ed at the desk was magnificent. His English was very good and his advice was asked for on many occasions. The rooms were small, but to be expected. We also had breakfast there each morning, and it was excellent value. Martha, who ran the breakfast was also a treasure.Another big plus was the presence of a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilit... Read more

After having a terrible experience at Residence Ballu, we cancelled our booking and was searching for a hotel near by. And we found Opera Deauville Hotel online and booked it straight away (impressed with the price as it was cheaper than I expected). The gentleman who greeted us (Mr Ed) provided excellent customer service. He guided us with places to go using a map, whether we should walk or use public transport etc. We were giving so much information (wouldn't have managed to see most places if... Read more

This hotel gets pretty good reviews here on TA, but we found a lot wanting. The rooms are very shabby, the bathrooms are teeny tiny, and you do have the feeling that you are in a very run down establishment. However, I will say that the beds and linen were clean and the breakfast was adequate. We were happy we had only booked the one night.

This is a middleclass hotel in the 8th arrondissement. Good reachable by car, parking nearby. So are several metro stations. Rooms were small, but I guess that's normal in Paris. Booked through Hotwire (secret location). The showerdoor that needs to keep the water from spilling all over the floor is on the wrong side of the bathtub...hahaha... Nice little breakfast, nothing special.
