Stayed 2 nights in room that accommodated 3 people. Nice size for two of us and was very clean with nice amenities. Free water on check in although not replenished. Had windows that you could open which was nice and a heating/air conditioner. Rooms are reasonable quiet although there was screaming child in courtyard a couple of times and the sound just echoed. Not normal screaming, this was continuous but no fault of the hotel. Staff speak English and were always very helpful and friendly as wer... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for a week in our honeymoon. The room itself was not very nice and smelled like cigarette smoke, but we really didn't spend much time there. The great thing about this hotel was definitely the breakfasts. The croissants were so fresh! My husband and I talk about those breakfasts all the time. The staff were also super helpful with directions etc.

Great hotel, friendly staff, great location 2 mins from metro, reception staff gave us a list of attractions and how to get there by metro and bus, very much appreciated. Great breakfast included, they booked the airport shuttle for us. We booked a triple room and they gave us a quad. Lovely courtyard for a drink or coffee. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.

We had a superior room, Aida, which was comfortable, clean and well furnished with a small seating area. All the staff were very friendly but professional which creates a lovely feel to the whole place. Located a few steps from the Metro and a bus stop taking you directly to the Eiffel Tower, as well as being neighbours with several restaurants, bars and shops. Located on a part pedestrianized street it retains an aura of quietness and charm, the enclosed garden courtyard area adds to this.

We upgraded to a suite as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and made for a very comfortable stay for our family of 4. This is a great hotel in a lovely location, a few steps from the Cadet metro station so easy to travel anywhere in central Paris. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, helping us first time visitors to Paris decide where best to visit and how to get there etc. Thank you very much - we will definitely be back!

This modern hotel is in a great location (just off Rue De Lafayette), ideal for attractions, shops and cafe's/food with a number of good inexpensive eateries on our street. It is worth spending some time exploring the surrounding streets. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and eager to please, a great asset to the hotel. The breakfast choice was good for this standard of hotel. We had booked a triple room which was not a bad size for a city centre hotel and had everything we needed. ... Read more

I highly recommend the Opera Cadet. It's location is good with at least two Metro stations nearby. There are outdoor cafes and bistros all around the hotel. The staff is very accommodating and speak English very well. The rooms are typical for Europe and overall are quite comfortable. I loved all the shelf space in the bathroom! For the price we paid, I certainly felt misled. This place is a 3 star hotel at best. The decor is dated, desk staff rude and the location is too far away from the centre of Paris. Only positive is that it is clean, The Metro is across the road and the breakfast staff were lovely. Wi-fi service was horrendous. When I queried it, the man at front desk refused to look into it!! We traveled to Paris as a family at the end of July and booked this hotel due to its location and great reviews. The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived and were exceptionally helpful throughout our trip. We traveled with my grandmother and on the last day of our trip, around 2 hours before we were due to leave, she was exhausted and it became clear she was not very well - she had an angina attack. She needed to lie down, however we had already checked out of the room... Read more

We had a double bed and 2 twins, which meant our kids had their own beds. The breakfast was great with fresh eggs, ham and breads. Good coffee too. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We did hear some traffic noise but no noise from other guest room. The hotel is very near the cadet metro station which takes you to the Louvre area. We also took the metro to Versailles and Disneyland Paris. A great trip. We will make this a place to visit next time we go to Paris.

Stayed recently for 4 nights with my daughter. The hotel us opposite the Cadet metro station & the main bus routes. There is a great patisserie directly opposite the hotel & Cohen's little supermarket stays open until late for water & other essentials. There's also a variety of cafes & restaurants close by. Our room was fine & we had separate toilet & bath / shower rooms. The hotel is kept spotless. Breakfast is more than adequate with a selection of cereals, bread rolls, mini croissants / pain ... I have stayed at this property in Paris twice now, and on my last visit, I was even more impressed than the last! The location of this hotel is perfect - close to so many public transport options, walking distance to the Opera, and even the other main sights if you're keen to walk, plus there's plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The staff are absolutely awesome - friendly, courteous and helpful! Rooms are clean and comfortable and a delicious breakfast is included - what more can you a... Read more

In close proximity to the Eurostar Paris station and right across the road from the Cadet Metro station. There Re quite a few good restraunts nearby or a McDonald's if you need it. (didn't try it so I can't rate) The hotel is clean and in fairly good repair. There were 3 of us and the room was a bit on the small side. This is to be expected in Paris where space is at a premium. A friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Overall very good value for money.

The hotel is perfect. It's just outside of the more noisy and touristy area of Paris, you'll see more families and working class here. The street it's located on is near the metro, which is the easiest and best way to get around Paris. The street also has a cheese shop, a meat shop, a fois gras shop, a few bakeries, a sandwich shop and a really good coffee shop. On the ends of the street there is some cafes that sell tabacco if you'd like as well, honestly, on this one street you're getting a to... Read more

Our family consists of 2 adults & 2 kids (8, 10). We stayed at the opera cadet for 5 nights. The rooms were pretty small but we managed just fine. This hotel was in a great spot. We strolled the streets everyday and had plenty of choice for restaurants. The staff were very helpful, they even provided us with a map and specific directions to get to the top sites (including train routes etc). Breakfast was perfect - so much choice and they provided food for my daughter who is a coeliac. The price ... Read more
