Spent a few nights at the Newton Opera and despite the very small room (normal in Paris unless you want to downgrade quality or upgrade your budget considerably), I enjoyed my stay very much. Everything was cute and turn of the century (the previous one) in styling except the bathroom that was modern and very functional (again, for its small size). Location, location, location. 8e Arrondissement or Faubourg St-Honoré, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, the Opera, Notre Dame, Le Marais, the Oly... Read more

So close from La Madeleine (church), and Madeleine metro station, walking distance from Place de la Concorde, good breakfast buffet, good service, small rooms (as usual in France). Go to Fauchon next to Madeleine tren station and taste the french gourmet products. In this metro station you will find L'Open Tour stop (hop on hop off tours).

The great thing about this hotel is the location. It is probably one of the best places for you to be in Paris, with a walking distance from several sightseeings and good restaurants and shops. This is not a luxury hotel, far from it, but the room is large enough (considering Paris), decent and clean. Another great thing is the staff: they really try to help you and answer promptly and kindly.

It is not a three star hotel! Not even a hostel I would say! Don't go there! It is definitely waste of money and nerves!!! NO WI FI and very very very rude staff including the ''manager''! They tried to make people stupid saying that we all cannot connect to wi-fi as we don't know how (!) and then when all guests tried to connect to wi-fi at the reception lobby - they said that no wi-fi is available and they just don't care, they left all guests at the reception and disappeared to have a meal!!!... This hotel ripped us off by charging us for an extra night after we checked out. When I tried to get it refunded they hung up on me and ignored my emails. I wish I had known at the time that I could've got VISA to chase them on my behalf as what they did was fraudulent and wrong. But that's not all... the hotel itself is so dirty; stained carpets, mouldy shower, musty, stained sheets, cigarette stench and paper thin walls. We were having a coffee in their reception lounge and a beggar came in... Read more
