We stayed here on the first leg of our honeymoon and were greeted with a free upgrade and macaroons on arrival. Throughout the stay the staff were helpful and spoke very good English. The overall stay was amazing with a beautiful room. I would definitely recommend.

This hotel was in a great location for us and the staff were very helpful. The room was well kept & appointed, however, it was very small & we were unable to open the wardrobe doors due to the proximity of the bed (sliding wardrobe doors would be better). The shower cubicle was also very small for a 6ft man such as myself. On the whole the hotel was quiet, however, the floors are very creaky & on our third & final night we became acutely aware of the guests that had moved in above us that day wh... Read more

This hotel is located within easy reach of The Louvre & The champs elysees. The hotel is a short walk to the bus stop for the Open Top Tour bus. This stop services two of the 4 routes. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast is of a reasonable quality. All in all this hotel is an excellent base for a sightseeing trip. Good value for money.

Location is excellent. Walking distance to the river, Concorde, Madeleine, Lafayette, Opera, Champs Elyses, Metro, RER, ... Price/quality ratio is above average for what you normally get in Paris. Cosy and tidy hotel. Rooms are larger than you normally face in Paris. Sound proofing in the rooms could be improved - during morning 'rush hour' it is virtually impossible to sleep. We did not like the ambience of the in-hotel bar, but then there are plenty of places just around the corner to chose ... Read more

The price and location are good, room was clean but small. Not modern as the photos that posted by hotel at booking website .Only 5-10 mins walks from hotel to metro, the location very conveient to reach the main streets and branding shops. Staff were nice, polite and willing to help. Will consider to stay this hotel again but it depends. It's mark with 70.

It was the best decision to stay in this hotel for the 4 night stay in Paris. It is both the great location and really decent quality of the hotel in general with a nice buffet breakfast and the rooms.

Hotel is located in a small street which is a very short walking distance from L'Eglise de la Madeleine and its adjacent array of restaurants, bistros, bars, shops and the Boulevard Haussmann that leads to the Grand Magazins (the big Parisian Department stores). The hotel can be accessed through 2 parallel streets during the day; one is closed at night. The lobby was rather stark. The receptionists very helpful, knowledgeable about the surroundings and Paris in general; check in was swift. The r... Read more

This is nice hotel located on a perfect spot for shopping as well as all you need to start your day in Paris. Rooms are small, and floor is not even, but you are in downtown of Paris. There is a small elevator, really small. Breakfast is very good, excellent choice for E18. Receptionists are super helpful and really super nice, always with smile and always there to help you. Note: if you want your room NOT to be cleaned you tell that to reception, because sign do not disturb means nothing here... Read more

We returned to London last night after a 4 day stay in Paris. We went down the Secret Hotel route for a change as we wanted to stay in the Champs-Elysee area and were not fixated on a particular hotel. We went via Agoda and were not entirely impressed with things. Now to the pros and cons- Pros- Superb location, Invalides, Rue Royal, Maxims, CE, Arc de triomphe, Boulevard Haussmann and Malscherbes, are all within walking distance and there are 4 or 5 Metro stations close by. St Denis Lazare is h... Read more

this hotel is just walking distance from either metro or the Louvre. Just really convenient location. Nice and helpful staff and I really like their breakfast restaurant, nice setting, a good selection of continental breakfast or French breakfast. My room was very clean and tidy. The only downside is, I think overall everyone has this similar feedback that the room is really small. This is my first time travelling to Europe and this is my first accommodation. Oh my word! That is the smallest ele... Read more

I couldnt dream of a better location, very close to everything, to shopping, metro stations, walking areas, amazingly well-located ! Amazing staff, very helpful, they help you before you even ask ! Very clean Quite rooms BUT I didnt like that it does not have a fridge in the room, that the room is so tiny while the balcony was quite big ! I think it is too pricy or over-rated for what it really is ! nevertheless, I still think it was a good hotel !

We had a great weekend in Paris staying at this hotel. The staff were fantastic, so helpful, flawless English when needed too. The room had more space than other places we had stayed in Paris, a good size bathroom with bath and plenty of rooms round the beds. The breakfast was lovely, a chic room and constantly refreshed supply of food. The highlight, though, is the location. Close to fantastic shopping, we recommend Galaries Lafayette and the Lafayette food hall too, the hotel is also within wa... Read more

Stayed with 3 girlfriends in two double rooms - hotel has helpfully put us next to each other for convenience. Rooms very clean, excellent décor, feel very comfortable and calm. An excellent base to explore Paris, as everything is within walking distance. Staff very friendly, speak (without a sour face) excellent English and are happy to recommend restaurants, shops (also very close), bars and places to see. I will definitely return next time.

This is indeed a good hotel for a first timer in Paris. My wife and I together with our two year old boy went to Paris last week (Sep7-9) and booked our stay at this hotel. Upon our arrival in the afternoon, Camille, the friendliest receptionist greeted us warmly and to my surprise told me that they were actually waiting for us. All the requests in my email were provided by them: like our room not being on the higher level, and having a small window with a cute balcony for you to enjoy the cool ... Read more

This hotel had everything we were looking for, starting with a great location. It was on a quiet street with minimal traffic but a short walk from a lively restaurant area. There was even a patisserie right across the street with amazing bread and tarts. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was large and airy with a very comfortable bed. Should we ever get back to Paris, we will be staying here again.

We were there last January when it was so cold in Paris. My husband, my infant baby and myself were warm and comfortable. We were given room at the old part I think, and it was overlooking the inside court. Very quiet and serene, until my baby start screaming that is. But not for long of course. The bathroom toiletries are from Nuxe, my fave french skin care brand. The hotel provided baby cot for us which was very nice. The room was small but it was still spacious enough for us to enjoy hot drin... Read more

I stayed for 1 week. The hotel was centrally located and near several metro stops. The neighborhood is quiet at night but there are a few restaurants available if you'd like to stay close by. Friendly staff, good breakfast, so no complaints. Rooms are really small and so is the shower. Rooms are best for one, not two average American sized people. I would stay again.

Great location, easy access to a number of metro stations, also good point to walk from for many attractions. The room was quite small and a little dated. The very worse thing was the shower - it was tiny. I am not very big, but even I struggled to turn around. There was no shelf to put your showering 'stuff' and bending down was virtually impossible. On the website the hotel boasts a bar - this was not open due to the season. This should have been mentioned on the site. Staff were very ... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for two separate occasions on one business trip. My first stay was in a regular single room. The front desk allowed me to check in early without any additional fee. The front desk personnel was extremely helpful and friendly. They were bilingual in English and French. They even helped me to push my bag to the elevator. The elevator is really small and unique. It could barely fit my two suitcases and myself. The regular room is rather small but very neatly decorated. ... Read more
