The location is convenient for the Montparnasse Station, and on a direct metro line from the Gare du Nord where the Eurostar arrives. The area is vibrant, but the families sleeping on the street were a bit of a shock. The best things were the bed and the reception staff. The bathroom was rather cramped. I was unimpressed with the flat plates offered for muesli, the breakfast coffee not offered at all and the cold scrambled eggs. We did have other meals as part of our conference package and thes... A lovely boutique hotel, very stylish, new and clean. The room was rather small but comfortable and the shower fantastic! Our room was at the back, very quiet and looking into a lovely inner court. Rich and yummy buffet style breakfast and very helpful stuff.

Useful central Paris location with the added bonus of a private car park. Excellent staff who were friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile to be helpful The location is in a busy area with a number of bars and restaurants close by Rooms are not huge but adequate and well appointed Good value considering central city location

Nice Bar and good choice at the restaurant. However, the space between the tables in the breakfast room could be better. Very friendly people in the reception. The close location to Gare Montparnasse is the best.

Mercure hotels are not my first choice but this hotel is just what you need in Paris. The rooms (comparing to other Paris hotel) are in a reasonable size and the staff is very friendly. But what is great about the hotel is the location. Near to 2 metro stations and in a vibrant and nice neighborhood. I will chose this hotel or a nearby hotel in my next visit to Paris

We stayed in August 2015. Very close to the underground, food, market and a great big shop where we could get everything. Montparnase tower was 4 mins walk. Lots of cafes and eating places. It was very close to all facilities yet quite peaceful.

The hotel was located in a quiet and decent neighborhood and the service was pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent in terms of quality and selection. I would definitely book at this hotel in the future as it is good value for money.

We booked through the Accor Club, good results with Mercure in the past. Not here. Our room was not properly cleaned, we were directed to a room which had not been serviced, and the toilet by reception could only be described as disgusting. The place just seemed to need a makeover. The staff were either not knowledgeable or lazy. I had a flat watch battery, and asked if they knew where I could get a new one. "No" was the answer, with no volunteering to try to help. I then found a watchmaker abou... Read more

Having travelled after a long day's work, we reached this hotel in the early hours. The staff were polite and charming and the room clean, full of the facilities I needed. Great bathroom, comfy bed, fantastic air conditioning. Would definitely visit again

Rooms were large with lots of places to unpack clothes. Bathrooms were clean and a good size. AC worked well. Linens were clean. Lots of pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful. I have to say that this hotel is a gem. It is surrounded by restaurants. It is not far from the metro and Montparnasse station. There is a fridge in the room as well as a kettle to warm water to make tea or coffee.

Stayed there for a single night last Summer. It was an OK hotel for the area and for Paris. Pretty quite neighbourhood and close to the train station; which was a plus. The hotel staff looked a bit bored and were laconic at times; though definitely helpful when needed. The room was tiny and of average cleanliness. I would recommend this hotel option in case you do not wish to spend too much and be quite close to Eiffel tower and a train station. But there are definitely better hotels that you co... Read more

We booked with Expedia - and didn't know the name of the Hotel, but having done this in London I wasn't concerned! We were a party of 4 (2 Adults & 2 Children 13yrs & 8yrs) and stayed in a Family Room. The room was a good size - with the kids sleeping on a properly sprung sofa bed. For a couple the room would have been huge. Everything was very 4 star and very clean. I know you wouldn't get a better hotel for the price in central Paris! The breakfast was really good (hot & cold buffet) and well... Read more

I chose this hotel as it was 2 blocks from Gare Montparnasse and we were only staying 1 night before heading onto Germany. It was very easy to walk with our luggage. The rooms were comfortable and clean, average size and decent bathroom. It was also 1 block from the Metro, which was nice for our quick trip to the Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise. The front desk staff were outstanding with friendliness and giving us a late checkout complimentary. The breakfast was a good spread with some... Read more

Is a nice hotel, located close to 2 very convenient metro stations, grocery store, including a monoprix, several restaurants and cafes. On some days you can find a little local market on Edgar Quinet boulevard with a great variety of fruits, cloths and accessories. We were there for a family trip on Paris and we have a very good time. After 4 nights on this hotel and 3 days roaming Paris we toke a train to Disneyland Paris. We have a great family time!

This hotel is situated within about a 8/10 minute walk of Montparnasse Station for those coming in from the West of France, in a relatively quiet back street full of restaurants and creperies. Large room and bathroom and separate toilet. It also had the benefit of having a sound system in both of the latter for the TV! Comfortable beds, and an air con that could be controlled and did not make a lot of noise. Breakfast was to the normal standard of Mercure with plenty of choice.

This hotel is well-located for my purpose as it is in the top night-life district of Paris and on Saturday evening when I arrived it was much fun just out of the hotel. The hotel is adequate and the room of good size, but the decor is old and I don't like my 1st floor room that is dark, as it is virtually wall-facing and has two 3 sq-ft small windows for daylight more like the windows of a prison cell rather than a 4-star hotel.. There may be better rooms, not mine. My experience is that Accor d... Read more

my wife and I began married life in the Montparnasse district of Paris over 42 years ago and this year we felt like a return to the source for a long week end in Paris. Chosing the Mercure was the obvious choice as we know it for a long time by passing by it on so many occasions. We were very warmly greeted upon arrival and formalities were reduced to a minimum. Allocated room 116 on the first floor it was ideal for our purpose. Lovely décor scheme, very confortable beds, glad of the fridge as ... Read more

Have twice stayed here, both times as part of a group tour, and was happy both times. Hotel is near three Metros, on Wednesdays there is a flea market, and on Saturdays, the fresh produce, cheese and meats market. The hotel room for solo traveler was small-ish but contained a mini refrigerator and safe. One of the folks I traveled with was lucky enough to have a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The area has many restaurants, bistros, movie theaters, and a great gealto place 'on the corn... Read more

My friends and I had this European "pilgrimage" as one of our yearly adventures in Europe, but Paris has always been a favorite stop for all the cities. We stayed in Mercure for a total of 5 nights (1 night and another 4 nights after), we chose the hotel for one reason it is quite near to the Montparnasse train station that that is easier for us to commute and travel to Lourdes. Staying at the hotel was a breeze, staffs were very accommodating to the extent that they allowed us to leave our 3 ... Read more

I stayed here recently with my daughter & father. I liked the location, which was fairly lively with many surrounding bars & cafés. The Mercure is also conveniently close to several Metro stations, as well as many shops. We were initially assigned a rather old, tired looking room, which had a rather damp smell to it, being a paying guest who is also asthmatic I requested a change of room, & was moved. The new room was significantly better, & we stayed in this room. So be aware there is quite a ... Read more

However, the customer service was questionable, at around 8am on Sunday morning, our bedroom door was opened with no knock or indication that housekeeping were entering, to our shock, we were getting dressed for the day and had to yell to close the door!!! No apology or recognition when we phoned concierge to find out why we were rudely barged in on!! Then on checkout we were declined our ?20 deposit for the adaptor we had borrowed from t... Read more

The location is of this hotel is it's biggest asset (if you like the Monparnasse area). The rooms are in desperate need of refreshment to the furnishings and stale looking walls. They are however well insulated from the hussle and bussle of the neighbourhood and if your windows are shut, you can expect a quiet and good night's rest. This applies to some other facilities also. e.g. the toilet adjacent to the hotel reception looks more like a subway station toilet. Breakfast very average and in th... Read more

The location is the best in this hotel, many restaurants and brasseries around, three metro stations very close as so as famous department stores. Rooms are clean, a little tight for a family but not too much, good bathroom. The people are very friendly at the front desk. The poor wifi is the only thing that I think they can make better. I think this hotel is a very good option for a family on vacation.

We had 5 days back in Paris after 4 weeks on the road in France. When we first arrived in France we stayed in a little boutique hotel in La Madeleine area of Paris-it was a quiet area and was close to all the iconic monuments. I booked this both because I'm an Accor club member and because of its fantastic location. Very close to Gare Montparnasse, but tucked away on Gaite. Nice bathroom; sink was clogged but the hotel staff quickly took care of that. Housekeeping is generous with towel and toiletries.
