Bit slow for review, but here goes. We stayed at this lovely convenient and comfortable Hotel near Bastille. The staff were friendly and very helpful at all times. Our thanks to Virginia, and Minion, who went out of their way to help. Our group had three rooms, and all were happy. However one couple were robbed of everything at Gare de Nord Station before arrival, and Virginia the Manager, allowed them to phone home and do Bank Arrangements etc. Fantastic. Hotel is close to many Restaurants, and... Read more

Booked a terrace room which wasn't huge itself, but totally sufficient, and featuring a large balcony which is a bit higher than the room so it's accessible by a wooden stool. Balconies are clean and private, even on the top floor, since seperated by screens and plants. In the summer, guests from the rooftop terrase may however look down onto the private balconies on the top floor. Comfortable bed. Toilet and shower are seperate. Room was clean and tidy, furnishings are a bit aged but in good sh... Read more

The staff were friendly and helpful and understood my husband's smattering of French- no-one laughed at him! The room was small but had everything we needed. The lift was slow but that seems to be the norm in Paris. The hotel is well placed, not too far from a metro station so we could easily get around Paris. The breakfast catered for all tastes and was much appreciated. Our room (room 402) had a lovely balcony.

Stayed for three nights. The room was small but well taken care of. The staff was helpful, polite, and spoke good english. There is a roof top area that is perfect for a late afternoon glass of wine before heading out for the night. This hotel is not in the heart of the touristy districts but there are two metro stops a short distance away. It is a wonderful feeling to step out of your hotel and into the heart of a wonderful paris neighborhood. There are ample bars and restaurants around. ... Read more

Stayed there for a work trip. Clean room, extremely friendly staff and a nice hotel with good reliable (free) wifi! Nice breakfasts but I wouldn't bother with the limited room service dining (but there are plenty of restaurants / cafes around to eat in). Close to the metro and not far to walk to Bastille. Would happily stay there again!

This hotel has a fantastic location if you want easy metro access to the city's attractions, but you also want to have lots of restaurants and bars at your doorstep. The staff were lovely and friendly, Jonathan was always a pleasure. We stayed here for 5 nights in June, and whilst we thought it was a bit on the expensive side, we figured the location made up for it. Regarding the room itself; the bed was super comfy, and there was enough room for both of us to not feel cramped. There's a TV, ne... Read more

Just a superb level of service -- I left my passport in the room and made it all the way to CDG. Called the front desk and Benjamin got the passport, got it to a motorcycle messenger and got it to the airport in 40 minutes. Made my flight. Incredible.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms small but adequate, we had a little balcony which was very nice at night. In a quiet street just off the main road, conveniently close to the Metro. All in all, very good value for money.

Stayed here twice and on both occasions staff were incredibly helpful, professional and courteous. Great base for exploring Paris while staying out of the touristy areas. Comfortable beds, modern decent size rooms and one of the few places you can get an outdoor terrace at a hotel in Paris. Area has great bars and little restaurants and you feel you are in a real part of Paris where people live and work. Outdoor food market every day right nearby. Highly recommended...

Very pleasant hotel. Excelent location, only about 300 meters from metro station (Ledru - Rolin on line 8), one stop from line 1 which will take you to main attractions. There is only about 30 rooms which makes it cosy. Service very helpul, rooms small but comfortable and clean. Very nice place.

The room was nice but seems to be old and in a need of renovation. We were 2 people and didn't have enough place to store our luggage. The staff was very patient and helped us with every question we had.

A smaller Mercure in a quiet side street, which was within a few minutes' walk of three Metro stations and easily accessible by public transport. A standard hotel, simple reception process which can be done in advance online, a good choice at the breakfast buffet, our bedroom was a little "tired" in decorative terms, but well equipped. We liked the roll down blackout shutter on the bedroom window to minimise traffic noise and external lights, and the small rooftop terrace is pleasant for a quie... Read more

Very satisfied with our stay. Stayed a couple of nights in one of their standard rooms. Happy with the size - we didn't really need more room for two people. Staff were very friendly, only interacted with them on check in and check out, but they were pleasant. The room was clean and had all amenities that you may require from a hotel, including a wide choice of tea and coffee. Wifi is free and fast, which is always a good thing. We haven't tried their breakfast or any other meals. We used the ca... Read more

The best part of the hotel was the front desk staff. They were excellent. The room and terraces were so so. The roof top terrace was not clean nor prepped for guests. If you want cushions on the wooden slat chairs, you need to dig them out from a pile by the door. An old bottle of liquor was left by prior guests and was still there when we left a week later. The rooms were ok. Not a single picture on the walls. Very stark. The towels were very thin....and this was the "premium room". The b... Read more

Excellent priced hotel in a fab location. Plenty of bars ,cafes and restaurants nearby. 2 min walk to metro which costs 1.8? for trip to eiffel tower area. 1st time on metro and very easy to use. Isabel on reception was a star . Very helpful with telling us how to use metro and when we slept in and missed breakfast dhe organised it to be dekivered to room. People saying rooms are too small and messy. Absolute rubbish. Clean as a whistle and more than enough space to do what needs to be done ... Read more

The staff is very polite and very very helpful. Had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are small, but I was travelling alone so it wasn't a problem. All of the staff speak pretty good English, and were very friendly and helpful. The location is unbeatable - very close to good bistros, boulangeries, bars, shopping, grocery stores, etc. A five minute was from the line 8 metro and a 10 minute walk to the 1. Only downside is that because it is in a bustling part of town, the streets can be kind of noisey. I was staying on the 2nd floor, b... Read more
