The main thing about this hotel is its location. It is up a quietish street next to the Alma bridge near the Alma/Marceau Metro station with an RER station the other side of the bridge. It has 5 bus routes passing over the bridge or going along the Seine. It is a good place for a tourist as it is equidistant from the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysee. We used the buses to get around as they were frequent, cheap and clean. Ĺike many Paris hotels the Royal Alma doesn't look much from outside but... Read more

Friendly staff and good value for money. Excellent location and clean. A lot of good restaurants in easy walking distance. Perfect for a short break, easy walk to the city centre and other attractions.

Fun staff and good location. Good view of Tower Eiffel at the end of the street. Metro access to lines 1 and 9. Plenty of places to eat and not far from the left bank. The next street is the Hotel Athene, a meeting place for diplomats and the Theatre Champs de Elysee. Rooms are small unless you request an upgrade and breakfast is average. Down the street is an option breakfast brassiere for 1/2 the price. Satisfied with Amelia Royal Alma. Staff is top notch.

This hotel was really nice. We got a lastminute.com deal with this hotel so was a little worried that the quality would be reflected in the low price. I didnt need to worry. The staff and the location of the hotel was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They couldnt do enough for us. The room was modern bright and clean. Perfect size for the two of us. We were on the 2nd floor with a room overlooking the street below. Location wise i dont think we could have chosen better.... Read more

We have stayed at this hotel several times...it is our hotel when we visit Paris. The staff is great ! The rooms are clean and well maintained. The location is perfect for walking and visiting all Paris has to offer. You can pay more, but you will not find a better place to stay.

Great Location. Only a 5 min walk to to Eiffel Tower. Also very close to the Golden Triangle. All the shopping stores have now moved from Champs Des Elyses to the Golden Triangle area and very accessible from this hotel. Walking distance to the comedy theatre and both the modern Art museums. Breakfast is good but not worth 28Euros unless you have the Melia points card then it is 2 for 1. Breakfast is great at a Bistro down the street. Rooms are located close to each other and found that we could... Read more

Excellent service and very very convenient location to almost everything... Next time I will be in Paris, I will do my best to stay at Melia Royal Alma. I will do my best to make my reservations as early as possible so I get a room during my stay in Paris.

Room was small but clean, bed was a tad hard. Service is very good. Pleasant staff. Don't wast money on breakfast buffet! It is a good price for the area but better to buy yogurt and pastries for your mornings

My husband and I stayed three nights at the Melia. We enjoyed the beautiful breakfast each morning and how quiet the hotel was the entire stay. Our room was on the top floor and had fabulous balconies. Each day lovely trays. Of food and beverages were delivered. Such a nice friendly hotel in a perfect location.

My first trip to Paris, but definitely not the last. I would absolutely stay at Melia Royal Alma again. The staff is phenomenal, and they ensured that my husband and I had an amazing anniversary experience and a comfortable stay. We had a little hiccup at check-in at no fault of the hotel. The staff was beyond courteous and very apologetic. The hotel has Parisian flair, and is breathtaking. Location, location, location! You will be in walking distance to all of the iconic tourist spots. We foun... Read more

We stayed at a boutique hotel the "Melia Royal Alma" for 5 days. First, I must say, the location is superb, in the Champs-Elysee Quarter, right near the Seine River. The tiny reception area is staffed by nice youthful people who spoke good English. The tiny bar is staffed by very friendly bartender/servers. The bar selection is limited. The two tiny elevators have room for 2 people with no luggage. We hit Paris during a summer heat wave and the hotel air conditioning was stressed. Our room ... Read more

We loved the location as we could walk to many places from the hotel. The rooms were very clean and nice decor and the receptionist was very friendly. The continental breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

Bad room was not the one we requested. Breakfast was terrible and cost $20. We were asked to pay the bill in the middle of our stay in the hotel. All thought concierge service was really nice and willing to help.

A two-day stay for my wife's birthday turned out to be a wonderful experience, thanks to the friendliness (they really did make it feel like being among friends) and professionalism of the staff, the quality of the service and the proximity to the major sights. Sure the breakfast was a tad expensive, but it is Paris after all! Good quality and plenty of choice, full English and continental, to set you up for the day. Bathroom on the compact side (shower over the bath) but furnishings excellent, ... Read more
