We stayed 5 nights on the 1st floor. The staff (especially Antonio) was informative and friendly and the room, though small, was beautiful with marble bathrooms and french wallpaper. The close proximity to Notre Dame came with lovely bells ringing everyday, which we loved. Walking distance to almost every section of Paris. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. The bed could be more comfortable, the sheets could be softer, and the towels could be softer and cozier, but still, I would sta... Read more

Really excellent in every way! Great location (literally 2 mins walk from Notre Dame), quiet - despite being near the lively Latin Quarter, very attentive service (staff could not do enough to help), well appointed rooms. Would highly recommend.

The hotel staff is wonderful. The property is beautiful and well maintained. It was quiet so that my sleep was not disturbed. The room was better than I expected and more than adequate for me and my daughter. You cannot beat the location. I would definitely go back there again and I fully intend to do so.

This hotel was beautiful and would definitely stay here again. The staff were excellent and nothing was to much trouble. When we arrived we were made very welcome. The room was adequate in size for what we needed and had excellent wifi The area around the hotel is very pretty and clean with plenty of places to eat. Everything was within walking distance.

Quaint, charming, clean and efficient. Not one single taxi knew where this hotel was!! We just kept the map open on Google to show them each time. It was great, though. Just what I was hoping for. This is NOT a full-service hotel, by any stretch, but it is such a great location, with excellent and friendly staff, that it makes up for it. Keep a bookmark on the address on Google maps as not one taxi driver knew this hotel/location.

Just 200 meters from Notre Dame. In the center of Latin quartier, a lot of restaurants around. Small patio in front of the entrance, rarity in Paris. But inside nothing special. The rooms are usual, bathroom and toilet are separate. Breakfast is normal.

This our second stay at Hotel Colbert on the left bank in Paris. Great staff, all English speaking and very helpful. Wonderful location just steps away from Notre Dame on a quiet side street. Filling breakfast is provided. Only downside is the beds are hard and take some getting used to.

This lovely little hotel is conveniently located just blocks from Notre Dame. My friend and I opted for a room slightly larger by European standards. It was equipped with two twin beds and had plenty of room for us to move around. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was updated and well appointed. Although we were close to many restaurants and shops, (Shakespeare's bookstore is just down the street) our hotel was very quiet. By far, the best part of this hotel is the staff! It was so nic... stayed in this hotel for a long weekend. Thought location was significantly better than what I had initially thought (plenty of bars, restaurants, Notre Dam, shopping centres) within 2-10min walk. We were offered an upgrade an a really nice room- room itself was really nice, clean and quiet. Bathroom was also really clean and classic.

After reading some previous reviews regarding no air conditioning, I was a bit unsure but called the hotel and asked them about their air conditioning issues - they said they had individual air conditioning in each room with temperature control. So I decided to proceed with my check in. Immediately after checking into the hotel we were informed that the air conditioning is not working. It gets quite hot and stuff at night especially on the days we were staying the temperature had been warmer th... Read more

The hotel entrance and reception are very nice. I got an upgrade but I must admit the room was actually not brilliant. Bed was nice and comfy but it's the little things that make a difference. The skirting board was missing in places and the carpet had seen better days. This I'm afraid is typical of Melias and they need to pay a bit more attention to the rooms and not just the lobbies. Saying that, cost was ok for Paris and staff were friendly I would stay here again

Excellent value and location. Service staff most pleasant. Rooms typical size to European rooms. I would have chosen a room with a view of Notre Dame or the courtyard. The hotel Was very close to metro and museums.

Bravo! Excellent service to you Melia Paris. We enjoy our stay in Paris more because of your crew, especially Francisco, the concierge. He is very accommodating person. Your hotel is so close to subway station, to fine restaurants and the Notre Dame Cathedral.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter tucked away around the corner from Notre Dame! My friend and I spent six nights here in April. Our room was quite spacious by european standards. We had two twin beds with small built in closets on each side. The bathroom was roomy with tub, shower, vanity and heated towel bar. In addition there was a W/C. Check in was a breeze. We were given a warm welcome and were made to feel at home. No one criticized our feeble attempts to speak french! ... Read more

We had quite a nice stay of 4 nights as a family with 2 rooms, but got very disappointed in the end as we had to find out that our luggage stored at reception during the last day got searched and some cash amount had disappeared as result. This is very disappointing for a 4 star hotel and totally unacceptable.

The hotel is lovely: small, friendly staff, great location and well maintained. One of our rooms wasn't ready when we checked in so they upgraded us to a huge room and sent champagne. It's a quick walk to Notre Dame and the hop on-hop off tours and the subway train station. The only sour note was that one of our passports was left in our room and it went missing, more our fault for being careless! However, we really loved our time spent at this hotel and will definitely return.

Wonderful first time visit to Paris. The location of the hotel was central to everything. We were able to get around by foot and metro very easily. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful with our city navigating. I would recommend the Melia Colbert to anyone traveling to Paris.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter, conveniently located, only one block from the river. Short walking distance too many restaurants, and the train stop less than 5 minutes away, made getting around very easy. The staff was attentive and friendly. Antonio and Francisco were extremely helpful. The bathroom had a combined bath/shower, robes and slippers supplied, separate WC. The tub was deep, so getting in and out could be a problem for some. After using a heated towel rack for... Read more

I adore this little hotel, but I won't stay there in summer. The air conditioning doesn't work--neither in the room I was in, nor in any other, as far as I could tell. (The staff was kind enough to ask if I'd like to change rooms, and first they showed me a few and in the end I realized their AC units simply don't work--no Freon or something). In the end they explained that Europeans guests don't require AC often so they don't mind if it is hot and doesn't work the way American guests might pref... Read more

After a very nice early check in,in the morning, later as we were going for lunch, we were grossed out by Antonio who asked the age of my 17 year old daughter and having been told ,continued his lecture on while gothic cathedrals have copulating couples woven into the architecture. The reason was the churches' need to repopulate, after the black death, he said. While interesting ,he should be more discreet with his information in front of young women. He also commented on Presidential hopeful Donald... Read more
