Cons: No faults with this hotel, however breakfast selection wasn't so vast, although it was nice. Pros: super clean, large rooms and bathroom, nice view of courtyard, can choose different pillow types, staff helpful too. Would stay again, but pricey.

My family and I recently visited Paris and stayed 4 nights at the Mandarin Oriental. The hotel is awesome. The location is brilliant. But my greatest accolades are for the wonderful staff. They could not have been more attentive, personal, helpful and generous of their time. I must especially mention one manager - Fiona - who went out of her way to help us. Visited Paris for work and my family came (don't ask) and stayed here. It was a beautiful hotel located near Plaza Vendome. Walking distance to main attractions. Amazing breakfast buffet (which I usually do not eat). The hotel does lock for late night (around 4am, so be cautious if you have a wild night out in Paris). Definitely surpasses the other Mandarin Oriental Hotels I've stayed at.

The only thing I can complain - my stay at The Mandarin Oriental Paris was too short. The hotel team goes an extra mile to make you feel welcome, waited for and very special to them. They know your name and room number without asking, they greet you on the street in front of the hotel, they ask about your dinner last night, because they remember a place you had booked. A doorman shows you to the nearest pharmacy, etc. I can continue forever. It is what we, Europeans, used to call Asian service. ... Read more
