Our stay began and ended very choppily. In between it could be described as mostly very pleasant, with several asterisks. Booked a one-bedroom suite through an experienced agent. Rate initially quoted was not honored - a 'mistake' - so we were politely but firmly asked to pay about 25% more. With time short we gave the benefit of the doubt and decided to proceed anyway, with assurances that our understanding would be rewarded with much kindness. So we were very disappointed to be initially sh... Read more

Stayed in MO Paris for the 4th time to visit Paris Bienalle. Upon arrival, the staff all knew who I was and dressed me correctly. Check in process was smoothly done with a glass of welcome champagne in my upgraded duplex suite. For the space of what I got, this has to be the best value in Paris with the view of Eiffel Tower and the Concord square view on the upper floor and Vandome Palace view on the lower study and reception floor. Linked to the other Mandarin Orientals around the world, this hotel lives up to its standard in service standards and cosmopolitan setting. However being in France, the exterior outlook may be deceiving compared to the interior.

as you can see on the picture, it is my 20th stay in the Mandarin oriental Paris. I have stayed in all mandarin in the world and I can definitely tell that is the best one so far. I can give you many reasons like food, design, wi-fi but the key is not here if you are used to luxury. the most important thing about the mandarin oriental Paris is the exceptional level of service from a dedicated team - starting from the GM - . I have stayed at a number of other luxury "high end" hotels in Paris but this was my first stay at the Mandarin Oriental. I can tell you that the level of service, facilities and attention to detail at the Mandarin Oriental is unsurpassed anywhere else in Paris (and perhaps anywhere in the world). Everything was 5 star and the highest quality. The staff were attentive to every detail and I felt like a rock star from the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out. Staying at the MO Paris, made our trip to Paris even more enjoyable. We arrived at 8.30am and we were able to check into our room, which was a godsend after a 24 hour flight. We were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite and given a complimentary rollaway bed for my son. A birthday cake and juices were set up for my daughters birthday and a pot of tea was delivered to the room for me. Everything is exquisite - the tea set, the flowers in the room, the bathrobes. Most of my recent Paris hotel experiences have been excellent and I was initially ambivalent about trying out the Mandarin when it was suggested by a friend. I'm glad I listened and the decision couldn't have left us happier. The hotel is wonderfully situated on the Rue Saint-Honoré in the 1st arrondissement near the Louvre, the Jardins Tuileries and the Place Vendôme, footsteps away from some of Paris's most iconic boutiques and shopping. We've been MO fans for many years, but cast about for other options of late thinking that we shouldn't be stuck in a rut. We've had some hits and some misses, but when you pay for luxury, you don't expect nor should you tolerate, misses. MO Paris was everything we expected and more. Paris, although one of our favourite places in the world, is not always known for its warmth to guests, but I MO Paris runs extremely counter to this preconception. Hotel has amazing rooms, service, employees, etc ... all that you would expect out of a 5 star MO property. The location is what sold me - it's easy walking distance to the Louvre (10 mins), Vendome (2 mins), Champs-lysées (15 mins), Arc de Triomphe (20 mins), Musée d'Orsay (10 mins) and a good exercise to Notre Dame (25 mins). The primary negative is cost - but this fairly standard in Paris for a hotel of this type.

In a city known for its luxury hotels, I can't imagine a finer one than the Mandarin Oriental, Paris. Stayed here in September 2016 just for two days, but that was more than enough to enjoy the property. Perfect location - just off the Place Vendome, within walking distance from the Louvre, the Tuileries and Opera.
