Let's start with the good things first: the hotel staff were friendly and helpful (and happy to look after our luggage), and the hotel is both close to Gare du Nord and the Saint-Martin Canal. Our room was reasonably large, clean and very comfortable. We had the ground-floor room, which is entirely wheelchair-accessible. We had a very pleasant stay. But. There are a lot of niggles: i) the en-suite was a wet room, but the shower drain was not the lowest point of the floor, and the shower had no ... Read more

The stuff was really friendly and helpful, the food in restaurant was excellent but one thing - we took the menu and the portions are way too big! We ate the first course and already were full, even my husband :D So there were no room for dessert....But the taste was so good and the wine of course too :) Room was very clean, at first it was cold but we turned the heat on and it went warmer. Bed was very comfortable. Okey, the noise outside on saturday midnight and early in the Sunday morning wa... Read more

I have been to the Robinet d'Or on two occasion, first time solo for work, second time for pleasure with a friend. I love it, it's such a lovely hotel. It's not big so you are really well taken cared of by the staff. It is located at a 15 min walk from Gare du Nord where the Eurostar arrives and 3 min away from Gare de l'Est where there is an metro station. I'm French but the friend who came with me the second time is not and the staff always made a lot of efforts to speak English so my friend ... Read more

The Le Robinet D'or is an amazing hotel close to Gare Du Nord about 10 to 15 minutes walk staff were very friendly and most helpful. This was the 4th hotel we had stayed in this trip in Paris starting and finishing a tour, but by far the most unique. We had a room on the 3rd floor as there is no lift you had to walk up and down his spiral staircase for us it was not a problem the staff were Fantastic grabbed our bags and off they went round about 30 kg each bag. I attended with my very hard to please female acquaintance. Shes now my girlfriend, what else do you need to know! Lovely room (was big for a city hotel), decent location close to Gare Du Nord station and a really unique decor with retro and chic vibes. The building has industrial background and this heritage has been preserved well. Staff were really friendly. I am unsure how disabled friendly this location is however, as there were a lot of narrow staircases and did not see a lift (although wo... Read more

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. We were treated with the utmost courtesy and gentleness. Rooms spotless clean, rather big room size for Paris standards. Comfy beds, big windows (which can be opened!!). Good restaurant, good value-for-money breakfast (continental). Location close to Gare de l'Est (5 min walk) and Gare du Nord (15 min walk) and picturesque Canal St. Martin (lots of cafés, bars, retaurants in walking distance). Good connection to public transport but still far enough fro... Read more

Our short birthday trip to Paris was made extra special thanks to this wonderfully comfortable hotel. We were initially attracted by the quirky decor - industrial/steam punk meets Laura Ashley. Although I had some reservations about the location (very close to both Gard du Nord and Est) this part of Paris turned out to have lots of hidden delights including the nearby Saint-Martin Canal and Bassin de la Villette with boats, cafes and artisan boulangeries. The nearest Metro Chateau-Landon is a s... Read more

This hotel may not be central to sights but it is absolutely perfect for whatever you may need for a Parisian getaway. First of all the service here is superb, the best I've experienced in Paris. The staff is attentive and gives very personalized service. They remember your name and are very diligent with all requests. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice as well. I think the hairdryer they provide could be a bit better but I'm probably splitting hair... Read more

This 3 days and 2 nights in the Robinet d'Or have been very nice. The staff is friendly and competent and really care about the customer. The hotel is very well situated in a very nice area of Paris. Lot's of restaurants, cafés, small bakeries and shops around. The hotel restaurant is offering a very nice selection of dishes and wines. The quality of the food is very good, homemade and far away from industrial products that you can find in other places. All in all I would recommend this hotel 10... Read more

Stayed 1 night at this 16 room hotel, mid week. Walkable from Gare du Nord. After a swift check in, I was escorted to my room and they insisted on carrying my trolley bag to my room on the 3rd floor for me. Like a lot of Paris hotels, this place does not have a lift. No issue for me. The room was facing inwards, with a quiet view onto rooftops and skyline. The room itself was well designed and immediately impressive in terms of furnishings and amenities. Including espresso machine, and safe. I l... Read more

I've stayed at a number of hotels in Paris over the past years ranging from the boutique type units to the mainline landmark establishments. Over the last 5 years or so, I've been trying to locate and stay at units of a smaller nature being a bit more unique in character. As as I wanted to stay a bit outside the core, I was looking at units in the 10th Arrondissement close by the Canal Saint-Martin and within reasonable distance of a Metro stop. With this in mind, I focused on the availability... Read more

On walking distance from Gare du Nord, this small hotel offers a personal experience. The front staff is very nice and helpful. You get that nice feeling of staying in a family run hotel in the centre of Paris. For the price charged (might have been affected by the Euro 2016) we would, however, expect larger rooms and less street noise in the rooms. The decoration of the hotel is quite cool, but seems not to age well. It contributes to a feeling that the hotel rooms aren't 100% clean. Apart fro... Read more

Brilliant boutique hotel, perfectly situated for my visits. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and make every stay a treat. The rooms are chic and clean, beds are comfy and crisp and every part of the design is there to offer comfort. Stayed in the Jr Suite this time and was bowled away. My partner and I have stayed at this elegent boutique hotel several times, and each experience has been enjoyable and relaxing. Situated in a very convenient location of Paris, it is easy walking distance to the metro, restaurants and shops. The rooms (we have stayed in both the suite and junior) are clean and comfortable with spacious washrooms. So far, we have not experienced loud street noise or disturbances as such except for some rude hotel guests during early morning hours. The restaurant ... Read more

Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We were in Paris on a working holiday and only wish we stayed here for most of our trip rather than staying closer to Paris City centre. Stayed two nights in this lively small hotel. Location is excellent and there are plenty of nice small retardants close by. Closest metro station is only 300m away and it takes about 20 min to Louvre. Hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and always willing to help if you need information about the city, tips for good restaurants, etc. There is no lift, but hotel staff will take care of your luggage if you don't want to carry it yourself. I would definitely return to this hotel.

A short trip to Paris following the Wales football recently found us booking into this boutique hotel which was in walking distance of Gare Du Nord. Friendly welcome, beautiful room upgrade and fabulous food in the restaurant which meant we ate there on both nights. Just around the corner was the canal and an area closed to traffic on a Sunday. We loved it here and central enough to travel into the city on the Metro, tickets for daily travel were available to purchase from reception. Superb... Read more

Fab hotel very well situated next to gare du nord. Great value for money and certainly deserves an extra star. Quiet nights sleep in very comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay with our 2 teenagers. The staff was incredibly helpful in meeting our request for bed types/sleeping arrangements. Our suite was clean, quiet and well equipped. Any request was met promptly. The neighborhood has several interesting shops and restaurants. The staff suggestions were all spot-on. Access to main attractions was easy with metro, with stations close by. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed 4 nights at Le Robinet d'Or in the 10th Arrondisement on a visit to explore Paris. The hotel is small and quaint with a wonderfully helpful staff.
