Location was ideal with 3 metro lines within 1 minutes away from hotel. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Room was on the small side however we spent our visit seeing the city so this didn't matter to us.

Pros: The hotel is very clean with huge bathroom and love the shower. The lobby receptionist guy is welcoming and nice. I got a room with the view. CONS: The hotel is located very far from the centre of all activities that we need to walk 2 kms. to get to our destination. area is in a scary location in terms of people you get to see around. Too noisy drunks at night til wee hours in the morning that you really cannot get to sleep. I just don't feel safe in this area. Breakfast is too expe... Read more

My wife bs I stayed here let December 2016 and loved the place. This 100 year building was well appointed and the room we had was ample in size and cleanliness was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They all spoke English really well and they new their end of Paris very well also. We found this a good location for the louvre and other art galleries. We were recommended by the staff a visit to the Christmas markets and we can say this was one of the highlights for us. Can reco... Read more

Small (but not too small), very atmospheric and well-decorated rooms. The receptionists and general service was sublime and very helpful. The neighborhood was somewhat sketchy, but some people will properly find this delightful, since this is not at all tourist area. We didn't try the breakfast, since it seemed a little pricy.

This was my first trip to Paris and I was advised by a friend to stay in Opera. Hotel Regina Opera was offered at a good deal on lastminute.com. I checked Trip Advisor and was under the impression that this hotel was near Opera and had a view of the Eiffel Tower. I learned later, from a cab driver, that there is a Regina Hotel closer to Opera and the Louvre with a view of the Eiffel Tower. To give you an idea of the stark difference between the two, even the cab driver said "Ooooh! No! No! No!" ... Read more

The hotel is in a good location, next to the metro station. Had some problems with the bathroom - during the shower the water was going out on the floor. Informed the recepcionist and we changed our room to better. It's better to avoid breakfast in the morning because the buffet is poor and is not worth for the paid money. In general, everything was fine, we were very happy that the hotel was located in a safe area. Pay attention while booking a hotel in Paris that safe area is very important!

Comfortable, pleasantly decorated and well furnished hotel, room and bathroom. Welcoming and efficient staff. Good breakfast. Easy to reach by metro, good neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay and recommend the hotel without hesitation.

Traveled to Paris from London last minute for a mini vacation. Friends and I booked this hotel based on the photos and some reviews. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a rude gentleman who refused to let the 3 of us share a double beds room. We explained that we would feel more comfortable and safe, since we are all female, yet he completely refused. We tried talking with management, but we weren't able to receive any help. Since we booked through a 3rd party (Priceline), we needed to contact them... Read more

Room was very comfortable, small as most Paris hotels rooms are, but with large windows for plenty of light, AC/heat in our control, enormous shower head was very pleasant. The hotel is 2 blocks from nearest metro so very convenient.

I spent a week at the Hotel Regina Opera and was very happy with the place. The room was clean and well-furnished just like in the photos. Staff were welcoming and helpful to us while we asked lots of questions and advice from them through our stay. Breakfast was decent but certainly nothing to write home about (especially in France). The location was a block from the Metro, post office, and bank. The downsides were few and far between and due more to the location than the hotel itself. Most no... Read more
