the hotel was very clean and tidy and staff were very polite and helpful, but the transfer from the airport was very off putting as we had to wait at least four hours for our pick up as the driver did not wait very long after our flight landed he had informed hi manager that he could not find us after 4 times i explained where we were at exit 6 in arrivals 2d,in the end the manager of the company came to our assistance and waited for a second driver who arrived this driver was very polite and go... I chose this location as it was close to the Hard Rock Cafe but was extremely surprised how close it was to many major locations. Whilst Paris has a metro system which the hotel was close to 2 of them, you can easily walk to many attractions including Gard Du Nord for travel back to the airport. The hotel was great, very clean and comfortable. There was a lot of channels on the TV, I wish there were more English channels and a couple of music channels but still great. I found the built in USB ... Read more

Unfortunately, Not much I can say about this hotel that is positive. The room was swelteringly hot and the air-con was broken, there was no password for the wifi, most of the electrical sockets were broken, the only English language TV station was China 24 News

Very nice hotel, close to the main sightseeings in Paris, with 2 metro connections on the corner of the street. Louvre is 25 minutes by walk. Nice and helpful hotel staff, they speak English. Breakfast was delicious, with frech baguettes, croisants, orange juice, scrambled eggs, cheese and more. The room was clean, the bed very large, and they changed the towels each day. We are very satisfied with the hotel, I would recommend for everibody.

I know rooms are slightly different in size but I got a big, clean room and a big bathroom (for France). The staff were very kind - the cleaning staff even gave me something my parents had left in their room as I was staying an extra night after they had left. Beds were firm and rooms (although a bit red) were nicely decorated. Modern bathrooms, great shower pressure and hot water. Location was convenient if you want to stay near Gare du nord or Gare de l'est. There are also 2 metro stations ver... Read more

We had positive experience with this hotel. Rooms are very small, but clean and decorated very originally. Bring small suitcase, because it is going to take up a lot of floor space in this tiny room. Bed was comfortable, blanket was very good quality. Bathroom is extremely (!!) small, but very clean. It had two shower heads: rain shower and hand-held shower. Water pressure was great. Shower does not have shelf or holders to place soap or shampoo, so bring your own something to improvise. The h... Read more

I have stayed in Paris several times. Finding good hotels there is a real challenge. This hotel was a bit disappointing for a four star hotel. Rooms in Paris are always small. My room here was small by Paris standards. Essentially it was all bed. I was glad that I was by myself. What was worse was that their internet service is awful. It was so slow that it was pretty much pointless. Further, the AC did not work. Fortunately it was not too hot. I'll chose someplace else next time.

We stayed here for three nights, but unfortunately this is going to be a mixed review. The location was very convenient for what we needed to do, with 2 metro stations within 3 minutes walk, however the outside surrounding area has been one the dirtiest we have stayed in, in Paris. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. As for our room...the best way to describe it was a well decorated shoebox, air conditioning did not work, so it was constantly sweltering, as we are a couple with t... Read more

Me and my now fiancé stayed here from Wednesday to Friday. It was small but very clean and modern room. Love the red theme and the light up picture box above the bed. Bathroom was modern with lovely waterfall shower head. WiFi worked brilliant in our room. Street was fairly quiet on a night time we were on the 3rd floor so quite high up. Only issue was our air con didn't work and it was 25 degrees. Very helpful reception staff. Raphael spoke brilliant English and was very helpful and a funny ch... Read more

Been to Paris a couple of times and to be honest the previous hotels have been quite shocking !. So on TripAdvisors rating system we booked Hotel Regina Opera, and a wise choice it was !! The Hotel is easy to find from Gare du nord station, and the metro within 2 min walk. The room (although compact) was very well presented , with modern décor and first class quality fittings. The room was very clean and the maids made it look brand new every day. The staff on the desk were always helpful an... Read more

We bought a package with both hotel and flight in the same price, and I feared that because it was cheap it would be one of those hotels were the pictures doesn't match and is worse than you can imagine. But it was so nice! It was clean, the room felt very comfortable and it had everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. It was very close to both Bonne nouvelle metro station and Seint Denis metro station. Everything we needed was just around the corner. Restaurants, cafes, gr... Read more

Very Nice and wellcoming personell, but some serious mold problem in the bathroom on 6th floor room. The stink was breathtaking. The room was small, but manageable with small lugage. Surroundings a bit unpleasant, but still safe. Not a good hotel To stay with children.

Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed and due to some confusion with my booking, I was offered a choice of rooms. We were on the 2nd floor, in a very quiet room that overlooked some sort of courtyard. Our room was clean, comfortable & air-conditioned. We will definitely look to stay here again. There were loads of good restaurants & bars nearby. Wifi worked but wasn't great. Who cares? You're in PARIS.

I spent a week at the Hotel Regina Opera and was very happy with the place. The room was clean and well-furnished just like in the photos. Staff were welcoming and helpful to us while we asked lots of questions and advice from them through our stay. Breakfast was decent but certainly nothing to write home about (especially in France). The location was a block from the Metro, post office, and bank. The downsides were few and far between and due more to the location than the hotel itself. Most no... Read more

Room was very comfortable, small as most Paris hotels rooms are, but with large windows for plenty of light, AC/heat in our control, enormous shower head was very pleasant. The hotel is 2 blocks from nearest metro so very convenient.

Traveled to Paris from London last minute for a mini vacation. Friends and I booked this hotel based on the photos and some reviews. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a rude gentleman who refused to let the 3 of us share a double beds room. We explained that we would feel more comfortable and safe, since we are all female, yet he completely refused. We tried talking with management, but we weren't able to receive any help. Since we booked through a 3rd party (Priceline), we needed to contact them... Read more

The hotel is in a good location, next to the metro station. Had some problems with the bathroom - during the shower the water was going out on the floor. Informed the recepcionist and we changed our room to better. It's better to avoid breakfast in the morning because the buffet is poor and is not worth for the paid money. In general, everything was fine, we were very happy that the hotel was located in a safe area. Pay attention while booking a hotel in Paris that safe area is very important!

This was my first trip to Paris and I was advised by a friend to stay in Opera. Hotel Regina Opera was offered at a good deal on lastminute.com. I checked Trip Advisor and was under the impression that this hotel was near Opera and had a view of the Eiffel Tower. I learned later, from a cab driver, that there is a Regina Hotel closer to Opera and the Louvre with a view of the Eiffel Tower. To give you an idea of the stark difference between the two, even the cab driver said "Ooooh! No! No! No!" ... Read more
