Decided to take a trip to Paris so we could go to the Christmas Markets on the Champs Elysees. We chose Hotel Powers because of its close proximity to the Champs Elysees and we were not at all disappointed. This Hotel had all the charm you could wish for. Upon arrival, we were greeted by lovely staff who duly showed us to our room. Yes the lift is a little tight, but we loved it and thought it just added to the whole character of the place. The bedroom was a real delight! The most beautifu... Read more

Stayed here for the marathon. Loved this place. Not a very big hotel which gave it a bed and breakfast feel.. There is a little bar off the lobby, though I never did see anyone in it. The breakfast served was good, simple and basic. The staff was wonderful. Our room wasn't ready when we initially checked in so we went out for a bit and when we returned they had already brought our bags up to the room. We stayed in the deluxe room. The room was clean and quiet. Bathroom was impressive. We did ... Read more

Stayed here for in April and the hotel was very nice and in an excellent location close to the metro. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations of restaurants and how to get places. Breakfast here was good and had a nice variety of foods. Had a great view of the Eiffel tower from our bedroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Our last 2 nights in Paris were spent in Hotel Powers. Beautiful grand old hotel with nice lobby and bar at the front. The check in was quick and we were given the key to our room on the top floor (5th) with a sensational view of the Eiffel Tower. There was also a balcony to stand out on. The lift was tiny (no more than 2 or 3 people). The room was medium size with a huge bed, wardrobe, desk, fireplace with s TV over it on the mantlepiece. The bathroom was basically a shower, toilet and sink in... Read more

Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel clean with a nice lobby and bar at the front . Bedroom and bathroom nice décor and size . Hotel is located very close to the Metro and one road away from the Champs Elysees which is a bonus for restaurants , bars etc Breakfast is continental based as you would expect with an option of a hot buffet which was fine but limited choice. If being picky , rooms have energy saving bulbs which don't give enough light and no point in bathroom for shaving. I w... Read more

This is a very nice hotel and very convenient. Love the room as we can see the Eiffel Towers from our window/ balcony. However, we booked the room and I specifically inform the staff that me and my hubby celebrating our anniversary + my birthday in Paris. Being promised that they will have some special arrangement. Until the last day of our stay, there's nothing being arranged by the hotel until I wrote an email of my disappointment, 10 mins later hotel staff come knocking to our door with 2... Read more

Beautiful location - about a 2 minute walk off the Champs Elysees, this is a small, well run classical French hotel. I happened get to stay here since there was an issue at another hotel i was booked at. Worked out just fine if you ask me! Rooms are clean, decent-sized (not sure of the room category i was put in so be careful on this) and well maintained/appointed. This is an old building and there are quite obviously some limitations in the passageways, elevators etc but it makes for a wonderf... Read more

We love this very Parisian hotel that is located in The Triangle of Shopping. The location is perfect if you want to browse the shops of Dior, Chanel, Hermes, etc. Both times we stayed in different rooms and both rooms were lovely. Our room this stay had a balcony overlooking Rue Fransois 1er and the furnishing and bathroom were very tasteful, and elegant. Truly French. I gave them a five star although the room was a little noisy from the traffic below. We downloaded a white noise app on o... Read more

H√ītel Powers is a nice old-fashioned hotel in the 8th with charming rooms and agreeable manners. Rooms are small but well appointed and a thoughtful breakfast is served as a buffet. The staff is very friendly but don't necessarily go out of their way!

I stayed at the hotel with my fiancé for the weekend and we loved it. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly in several situations. The location is just perfect: 1 minute walk to champs and very close to the arc de triomphe abs eiffel tower. The first day we walked to all the museums and parks we wanted to go, but if you need to take the subway or a bus there are stations very close to the hotel too. The room size was very comfortable for two and the bathroom was a good size too (I hear... Read more

The rooms were large and the staff very polite and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. The best hotel in Paris so far. Close to a lot of attractions and the Metro. It was on semi quiet streets with a lot of restaurants around it. We stayed with our 3 teenagers and they were in an adjoining room. Everyone had a great time.

Hotel is old, floor creaky. However location is very good and front desk service especially the young lady is exceptional. Good breakfast. Room with balcony has a partial view of the Eiffel Tower. Would consider another hotel for next trip to Paris.

The room was amazing, the location was fabulous, the staff were so wonderful and bent over backward to serve you. They exceeded my expecations! I will return. The breakfast was good, although it was included with my rate. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone for it. The staff were amazing. The elevators were so small we had to send our luggage up first!! Funny. And altho they don't have parking, there is a parking garage just around the corner. Restaurants were within walking distance...try Chez ... Read more

We stayed for 8 nights back in November 2014 and it was superp! The concierge took care of everything for us from the restaurant reservation, tour to loire valley and airport transportation. The room might be a bit old but in true Parisian style and with the huge windows opened to the view of Eiffel Tower. It's near everything you want, Champ Elysee, Arc'd Triomp, Metro, super market, restaurants and for ladies, in the heart of the golden triangle with lots of top brand name stores at your door... We researched hundreds of hotels before picking this one. We picked it because of location, the view of the room requested and because it had AC. As my first time in Paris when I looked out of my window I almost cried. The room was on the 6th floor the only down for me was the elevator is a 2 person elevator and I am a little claustrophobic so it was a struggle sometimes I took the stairs but it was so hot it wasn't any better. But the room was great; small but enough, the bathroom lovely, the b... Read more
