We stayed several days in Paris at the very delightful hotel Niel about a 10 minute walk on the Rue Wagram from the Arc de Triomphe. It is a small, inexpensive 6 story hotel in the eighth Arr. It was totally redone recently adding private all tile modern baths, sound proof rooms and a very reliable small elevator. Bring your own soap or body wash. The room is for two adults as there is only one comfortable queen size bed. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We would highly recom... Read more

Fantastic location, 5_10 minute walk to metro and arc de triumphe. Good clean if small room, shower had good pressure, kettle and green tea in room. Backs onto a street market and lot as of small shops with a supermarket close by. Friendly, helpful reception staff, unfortunately not so in the breakfast room, asking for sliced bread for the toast we were pointed towards a basket of cut up baguette, given a knife and told to make our own. Have you ever tried putting a baguette in a toaster? Ever... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for three nights while in Paris. It is a great hotel in a convenient location, and it is also tucked away a few blocks in from the busy streets, so it is unbelievably quiet for a Paris hotel. Niel Hotel is close to two different metro lines (one around the corner and the other a few blocks away at the Arc de Triomphe); we used the metro to go from CDG airport to the hotel (needed to change trains, but it wasn't a problem). The breakfast for 10 Euros/person is worth it wit... Read more

We stayed in a double room on the sixth floor facing the street (# 603). We could open our front window and enjoy fresh air and activity from the side street below. The room was small but very clean with comfortable bed, fine linens and comfortable pillows. Location was perfectly integrated with local Parisians, including a couple of local restaurants and a local food market on the street around the corner. Within walking distance to L'Arc de Triomphe. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel. Location a bit out of the center but thanks to the Metro which is very close to the hotel everything's reachable within minutes. Neighborhood really nice and kind of quite for Paris. Really friendly and helpful personal, clean rooms, good breakfast for a hotel in this range. I will definitely go back there for business and/or private trips

Does the job. Location is brilliant, only moments from Arc de Triomphe with lots of restaurants nearby and a great little wine shop around the corner. Hotel itself was very compact. Rooms were tiny but did the job. Not the type of hotel you would choose if you wanted to spend loads of time in, but does the trick for those who are in town to get out and explore. Staff spoke decent english and were very willing to help if asked.

Lovely Hotel with a nice breakfast in a great location. The room is small, no parking but still worth the stay. The street market around the corner is lovely. Outstanding restaurants all around. Like it a lot.

10 mins walk from arc de triomphe and centrally located for transport links - the hotel is of a very good standard. Lots of cafes and markets so didn't do the breakfast, but was available (extra). Friendly staff, luggage store if you leaving late, just brilliant for all our purposes. Lift for floor access also.

Stayed here for a few nights, the staff are Friendly and helpful , our room is clean , washroom is clean (very important) the only thing though is the one glass panel on the tub , they could've put a wider panel to avoid water splashes on the foor , good breakfast, close to amenities and close to metro . Wifi is just okay. Thumbs up , I would definitely recommend it

Recommended by a French friend this was a good spot. they have triple rooms for a couple and 13 y.o. daughter. The staff were helpful and the breakfast fine. The parking was horrible, it is Paris. An underground car park a couple of blocks away was fine though there were several beggars around. Since we saw beggars everywhere in France, with hindsight this should not have been a surprise.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are a little small, but comfortable, cosy, clean and quite. The rooms have a electronic safe, which is good to keep passport and important travel documents in if you are travelling from abroad. There is free Wifi throughout the hotel, however it was a little slow at times. In the morning there is a local market down the street, also nearby shops and a cafe on the corner. The Terns Metro is about 5-10 min walk, convenient for getting around the city. There... Read more

Hi, I went to Paris on the 17th and 18th of August with my sister, husband and her 5 kids. The hotel was small and the rooms were not huge but everything was very clean and the staff were great. It's in an ideal location only 10 minutes walk to the Arc de Troimphe. There's a lot of restaurants nearby which are mostly child friendly. The hotel was very competitvely priced and I would definitely stay there again.

Well placed, very close to Champs Elysees. Hotel spotlessly clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Paris is exceptionally expensive so breakfast at the hotel is well worth the 10 Euros. Located near an open air market selling fruit, fish, pastries etc. There are two Supermarkets at the end of the street less than 100 yards away from the hotel. Metro stations Arc de Triumph and Ternes within 5 mins walk.Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very well located, close to arc de triumph and Champs Elysees. The front desk service was very nice and helpful. The downside is the size of the room - Extremely small. But other than that, the hotel is clean and cosy.

Booked three nights there, two rooms. Great location and employees are very helpful and nice, contrary to other reviews. Would stay there again. Yes room is small but price is right. If you want a bigger room, pay more. For us the the room is just a place to shower and sleep.

I got a single room on the 6 th floor with a nice view over the roof tops. There was only tea, no coffee, available in the room. There was not enough lamps so I had to use a torch to see how to regulate the heat. I got the room to a third of the original cost so for that price it was good value.
