My sister and I had a very unique reason to visit...it was her 18th birthday and she became very sick (not alcohol related!) inside the Louvre. We had arrived in Paris the night before and we're staying in another hotel about 30 minutes Metro ride away. I made a very spontaneous decision as my sister was so ill to walk into the nearest hotel and ask for a room. The staff at the Mayfair were fantastic, I explained our situation and they found us a gorgeous room for an excellent price and also off... Read more

First class at an affordable price. Booked it blind only to arrive to the kindest front desk staff i have ever come across. Elegant decor, warm seating areas, bountiful breakfast buffets and top notched staff some speaking five languages. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Location was a short, safe walk to Notre Dame and fine places to eat. Viva La France, WELL DONE for a first time visitor, who works in the hospitality industry Thumbs Up!!!!

I was travelling solo after a work trip and found this hotel last minute using the website Hotels Combined but decided to book directly through the hotel's website. Note: Wi-Fi is free if you book direct with the hotel. I checked Tripadvisor reviews before booking and after staying at the Mayfair, I can vouch that the overall good ratings are on par with the hotel's services and amenities. I did go through the 1-2 star reviews and there was mention of the reviews being fabricated as there were... Read more

The hotel was located in a prime area of Paris. The price was very reasonable for central Paris. The hotel was a little dated, & lacked any great amenities but very clean and everything worked. The staff was incredible. They were very polite and eager to assist me. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is it, perfect location, small, very good staff. Neat, clean, well kept. A very very good find - this is my best hotel experience in Paris thus far. I don't even have any complaints or comments...ok, I will give you one: when the room service makes up the room and they remove the waste basket platic bag and replace with a new one - they should allow for air to come out as they place the bag on the bin, otherwise you will have an air balloon and the waste wont fall to the bottom. Yeap. T... Read more

My wife, Aimee and I had made plans for our first "all family" vacation in over a decade to Europe. First stop, Paris France, and the Hotel Mayfair. Sadly the gods did not provide the weather of summer and Paris was experiencing the worst floods in 30 years, closing river tours, museums and in general not providing weather suitable for sightseeing. Enter Mariam. From our first day, she helped us with dining recommendations that we're stop on. She actually cared enough to ask for our feedba... Read more

My daughter and I recently spent three nights at the Hotel Mayfair and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We loved the area, the room was very big by European standards, the bath products were wonderful. I lost my Burberry sunglasses at a hair salon so the staff went out of their way to call the salon after my departure ,trying to locate them for me. I would definitely recommend the hotel. It is somewhat dated but that did not deter my experience.

We spent three days at this great little Hotel in Paris. The staff was friendly and very helpful and were very good speaking English to help us. The rooms were spacious and very clean and quiet. The room stay included breakfast that was set up in the lounge area. The lounge was open until about 11:00 pm to help us with our evening nightcap.

Upon our arrival at 11am we were told to come back at 1pm and our room would be ready. We left our luggage and returned at 2pm and were shown to a lovely room. Our stay was for 4 nights. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Room was very well maintained and we were pleased with cleaning and restocking. We were not troubled by ambient noise and slept very well. I would recommend to anyone who wants to be central and get great value in a 4 star.

Pretty boutique hotel, excellent location within walking distance of many sites, shopping, and places to eat. The best thing was the friendly, helpful staff at the front desk and the bellman. They all spoke English and were always welcoming and eager to give us tourist advice. Our room was tiny, but very quiet. There was no view from the window which gave the room a little light. A safe was included and refrigerator with minibar, which didn't have sensors so I could move stuff around and squ... Read more

The staff were superb! Friendly and helpful. Shout out to Matias, Redmond and Stephan!! The location is unbeatable for a Paris newbie on a whirlwind weekend tourist trip. The hotel was small but quite charming. I spent very little time in the room - I was there to see the City of Lights!

I booked a 'single' room at the Mayfair. The room was tiny and cramped with no modern furnishings at all. The carpet was old and the chair and the tiny table in the room were rickety. The bathroom was OK, though, and the location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel staff and very friendly and helpful too - especially Mathias at the front desk. I would have given zero stars, if possible, but the central location and the excellent front desk staff deserve a star.

The Hotel Mayfair is exactly what one expects when staying in the middle of Paris. It is very small- the elevator only fits one to two people. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The service is fine. The selling point of the Hotel Mayfair is that it is in a great location. All the best museums and sites of Paris are within walking distance. Overall, the Mayfair is good if you are looking for a place that is near the attractions.

Was welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. My room was ready early and available. The staff are all very professional and courteous. I had walked passed this hotel on an previous trip and knew the location was perfect for visiting the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, Theatre Mogador (had tickets) and other entertainment places. A nice breakfast was offered in the hotel (I drink lots of coffee), and fantastic restaurants nearby.

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon in the middle of summer. The best part about the hotel is its location- in the middle of everything. At first I thought it was weird our travel agent suggested it because I saw it was kind of fair from the Eiffel Tower, but over the week we found we were going equal distances to attractions in every direction. The neighborhood has fantastic food nearby and felt very safe. The staff rocked all week as well. There was a nice mix of personalities wor... Read more

The staff is awesome and speak great English. Very close by is a restaurant that is not to be missed, Le Soufflé. Also nearby is the famous Angelina's which is great for breakfast and their hot chocolate is to die for. Pastries are all super too! Nothing negative that I can think of. Our stay of 3 nights in July 2016 at the Hotel Mayfair was very nice. The room was large and the bathroom large compared to Paris hotels. The people were extremely nice and helpful. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel because we felt it was too expensive. Otherwise I have no complaints and I would highly recommend this hotel for the cleanliness and location which is very near Concord Place.

If a boutique hotel that is centrally located to ALL Paris has to offer, with a great atmosphere and a wonderful staff is what your looking for, I highly recommend the Hotel Mayfair. Mariam and the rest of the professional and friendly staff exceeded our expectations and made our visit to Paris a memorable one. Mariam also assited us with everything from translator to navigator on this trip. We cant say enough to thank her and the Hotel Mayfair for making our stay fantastic.

This is a nice boutique hotel that is just blocks away from the Louvre, across the street from the parks, just a few short blocks in other direction to Place de la Concorde, etc. Easily walkable to many museums. Rooms are fine but a bit small for three people. Breakfasts are fine in small lounge. Be careful about cocktails. We were pretty shocked by the cost when we received our bill. We should have asked.

If you go to hotel web site and choose Family room, you will find beautifully lit, charming finished and furnished room. We've booked family room expecting to get it. My husband and I really enjoyed this Hotel. It was our first visit to Paris. Marion, at the front desk, was so polite, warm and welcomed us every time we left the hotel and returned. When she inquired how our room was, I said lovely, but a little small. It had a small foyer with the smaller bedroom to the left and bath to the right of our door. If you're looking for a truly Parisienne hotel close to most tourist interests in Paris, this is a gem. It's in the first arondissement. A small hotel, quaint perhaps, but just beautiful.
