Service excellent, we had two babies with us and the waiter found perfect solutions to be sitting in peace and not disturb anybody. The quality of the meal and the chiuce of menu is very good. Prices are honest and justified considering the pleasent lunch or dinner you will enjoy. I highli recommend it in the area of Antibes and Juan Les Pins.

Location is superb, but more than that, the hotel has an elegant charm, service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Did I mention we loved the bar. Coming back again in early June

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great holiday. We were given a recently renovated room that was so charming! And the mattress was such high quality and comfortable! The bathroom had sufficient counter-space and was stocked with everything we could need for our stay. The room even had an umbrella for us to use tucked in the closet - which was so helpful. After all, because of the turn down service that ... Read more

The hotel is fantastic. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and even accommodated a very early check in as I was flying in overnight from the US so I could shower before heading to the office.

The Hotel Francois 1er is a fabulous, elegant & charming small hotel, just off the Champs Elysees. From the moment you sit at the reception desk (an actual desk!), you know that you will receive personal service and consideration. The regular rooms are the usual Paris size, but so lovely and lushly appointed. Treat yourself to a suite, if you can, for a more spacious bedroom & bathroom; a true luxury experience. The breakfast buffet is fabulous... everything you could possibly want; plus qu... Read more

What can I say? This hotel was perfect in every way. Location? Check? Food? Check? Hospitality? A hidden gem I cannot wait to visit again. No complaints. Breakfast each morning was a treat and whatever we needed they arranged. From dinner suggestions to a taxi on the spot nothing was too difficult. It is small, intimate and you will recognize a guest or two after a few days but, ah who cares? Well done!

I went on a spontaneous trip to Paris. First time staying at Francois 1er, and funnily enough it took me forever to hover around my usual Parisian neighbourhood the Golden Triangle to find it! Location is wonderful - moments away from the Four Seasons and needless to mention Avenue George V/ Montaigne for designer shopping. Good restaurants are nearby or ten minutes' taxi away (think rive gauche). There is plenty of nightlife nearby - Raspoutine, Cafe Chic (Le Bristol), Theatre Montaigne for S... Read more

... which is just a few blocks away. The common areas although similar feel a bit upscale as does the breakfast area with white tablecloth service. The hotel is situated close enough to the Seine and Champs Elyesses for ease of transit yet far enough away for a bit of quiet.

The moment we walked into the Hotel, we were very impressed with it's ambience which is elegant, tasteful, clean & welcoming. You couldn't have a more kind & helpful concierge. Our air-conditioned room was spacious enough for a short stay with a modern bathroom & ample wardrobe space incorporating a mini safe. The overall decoration is stylish & not overpowering. The location is perfect, a stone throw from Ave. des Champs- Elysees & the infamous George V Hotel which serves the most amazing lunch... Read more

When you book a hotel room in another country you are never quite sure what you will find when you arrive. My husband and I were very pleased when we checked into Hotel Francois 1er as it had immense French charm and an incredible location. We were about a five minute walk from all of the elegant shops and cafes (Champs Elysees'). The hotel staff did not disappoint either! MEHDI went out of his way to make recommendations, call taxis, give directions, and make dinner reservations. Mehdi was pat... Read more

A true Parisian experience, wake up to the smell of fresh croissants, the location can't be beat. Beautiful linens, impeccable service. Your rooms are so gorgeous you don't want to leave! Tucked away one block from the famous Champs Elysees , shopping awaits, cafes and fresh bread.

We stayed here in August 2016. The Hotel is easy to find, we took the train from CDG airport and came off Chatelet les Halles, changed onto yellow line, direction Le Defense and embarked at George V. You come out of the tube station and if you take the right exit you should be opposite the LIDO. Take the street ahead HSBC bank on your right hand side and the Hotel is the second left turn. It was incredibly easy to find. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily. The o... Read more

We are just back from a week in Paris having stayed at Hotel Francois 1er. The staff were all very pleasant and super helpful, the rooms delighted and we had a wonderful time. Up Side.. Just a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe and some lovely shops. Restaurants are perfect for a variety of menus. There are buses tours and the George V metro close by. Down Side.. The hotel only serves a buffet/continental breakfast, room service is expensive although efficient. All in all a lovely place to st... Read more

Hotel is located in a quite side street, but right in the centre of 8th arrondisment. Excellent friendly staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, working wifi. I have tried a lot of different hotels in Paris, usually left with a feeling of being ripped off, not here. I definetly will return to Francois 1er.

Stayed for 6 days and received the most personal, first class service I have experienced in a long time. The room was exceptionally appointed, the amenities were many and the location was perfect! Walk to many cafes, designer stores and the Champs-Elysees. Close to all, excellent access to taxis and public transportation. We will stay here again!

This is a great boutique hotel, all the staff are super friendly and helpful. Cosy feel to the place and well furnished, rooms are small but well laid out so don't feel small. The location is literally steps from the Champs and the Arc de Triomphe with all the shops and restaurants not only on the Champs but also the small side streets. 2 minute walk to the Arc, 15 minutes to the Eiffel Tower and 30 minutes to the Louvre. We will definitely book this hotel again in the future.

The hotel is located just 5 min walking from Champs-lysées and George 5 metro station. The hotel has a Classic Parisian design style and the room was absolutely gorgeous and fancy! The bathroom is quite large and just like the room is very fancy and clean. The buffet breakfast is very rich. Highly recommend

We really our 16 hours in Paris and spending our night at Hotel Francois was perfect. Great location (minutes from the Champs. George V) and lovely staff. Rooms are very French. I would be remiss if I didn't share the shower temp was extremely hard to modulate - either very cold or very hot - and the bed had me rolling over dead center. I understand all the rooms in the hotel are being upgraded. Despite these comments, I would stay again because it is charming and very clean and well maintained... Read more

We booked this hotel because the description of the room boasted "city view and balcony". When we checked in we had neither and upon telling the bellhop he informed us that our room was "quieter with no street noise". I just had to roll my eyes because this is maybe the 3rd time I've been sold this line from a European hotel. It's ALWAYS been when I booked third party. We got a pretty good deal for the room anyway so I didn't make a stink but I would suggest not paying extra for the "street view... Read more

My wife and I have been to Hotel Francois 1er three times now and each time has been a joy. This is a great boutique hotel. It is in a great location, just off the Champs Elysees. The staff have always been very friendly, highly professional, kind and thoughtful and there is a great breakfast as well to set you up for the day ahead!

We have been to Paris several times staying in different hotels but this hotel is by far the best! Tasteful decor, professional and attentive staff and ideally located in a quiet spot just off the Champs Elysee. Breakfasts in the elegant dining room offered a wide choice, freshly prepared which set us up for our activity packed days in this beautiful city. Special thanks to Dusan for his warm welcome and helpful advice. We shall certainly be revisiting this gem of a hotel.

Spent the night in room 307. Nothing short of perfect! Staff is very kind and the barman makes a great Dry Martini (I recommend!). Complete the experience with a nice breakfast in the morning, and you'll see why the François 1er is my favourite stay in Paris.

This was my second visit to the hotel. Have to say the room we had was one of the recently refurbished ones and was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, pillows great and the room was well lit. It was the same room as in the main picture. The breakfast was well presented and plenty of choice. Only stayed one night but would definitely go back.
