As a French-speaking tourist, this hotel was a great choice. On the weekends, the person at the front desk is multi-lingual. On other days, it can be a bit of a toss-up, but if you speak a little French, they speak a little English, you can get by. The staff is friendly and accommodating as well. My grandmother, who is very fussy, broke her leg during our stay and they went above and beyond to help us. Some of the rooms are kind of small, but not relative to other hotels in the middle of Paris.... Read more

Nice old hotel, room on the small side but hey, how much time do you spend there anyway! Great location next to a metro station and loads of restaurants on the doorstep. Only downside was the breakfast which we took one day - wasn't worth the 16 euros and better choice in the restaurant next door Easy walk to Eiffel Tower and other attractions

We stayed here several nights on a recent trip to Paris. Found many good reviews of this hotel on Trip Advisor. I was not let down. We arrived very early in the morning and were told it would be awhile before a room was available. We expected that but hoped by chance we might get a room. Since it was 7 AM we decided that we would wait awhile before we went out and walked the town. We were in the lounge in the basement when someone came in 20 minutes later and informed us that they did have a roo... Read more

hotel with very good location, close to everything. nicely decorated room, and bathroom. breakfast a little expensive, but a lot of cafes and bistros around. they have water heater in the room, so coffee or tea for breakfast was easy to prepare. good value for money.

Good service but problems with wifi but didn't matter much as weren't in hotel for long, bed was very comfy and room very quiet, very cosy hotel amazingly furnished very romantic. Only downside was breakfast choice not great although we did go down at maybe 10am so that could be why.

I might be a little unfair just to give three stars since the hotel is very good in many ways. But I stayed at another hotel in Paris in April which cost about the same (even less), has the same 3 star rating but is so much better. The room was very big and clean but it had minor problems that I did not bother to complain about, such as blinking lights and the tv did not work (no connection). The shower was not good either. But the worst part about the hotel was the breakfast. I really think t... Read more

The rooms are quite small, but this being Paris, it's to be expected. located near Hotel Invalide, it's a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, and the Champs Elysees. it's also very close (3 minutes) to Rue Cler, which is known for it's great shops and foot traffic (no vehicles allowed). the hotel did not really stand out, but as I said, it was chosen for its location. no complaints there.

I love this hotel! I arrived in Paris with my two kids in tow, to find my airbnb on the Champs-Elysee was infested with mold and uninhabitable. After calling 25 hotels and being turned away, I walked into Hotel de Latour at 10:30pm. Like the other hotels, they didn't have space for 3, but let me and my kids squeeze into a two-bedroom until a larger suite opened up (room 31 penthouse). I am so grateful to them for working with me and providing comfortable, clean accommodations with so much charac... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location couldn't be better with a metro station directly across the street. There are 3 very good restaurants within a stones throw, with plenty more within a short walk. The Eiffel tower was a 20 minute walk away and the are was absolutely ideal. The hotel was clean and stylish, but most importantly it was quiet at night so you can get a good night sleep. We had an executive room and found the size to be ok, just be prepared for a tiny room if you boo... Read more
