This very nice and exciting hotel made our trip to Paris a perfect one. The rooms are incredibly nice, from a comfortable size and very clean. The guestkeepers are very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the style and lounge music being played made our stay just perfect!

As an American travelling to Paris for the first time, my very first reaction to the hotel was - "WOW!". It is the cutest hotel I have ever stayed at - lots of character, adorable art, spunky colors - very tastefully done! The staff, especially at the front desk were super helpful. The location is ideal - it is within 5 minutes walk to Louvre. Metro is close by. They offer breakfast at a minimal surcharge but I didn't eat there. Would definitely stay again.

small bijou in Paris. rooms are small (it's a Paris thing ) but the service and decor compensate. great location near all that matters and not expensive at all. breakfast a little on the light side but at least the coffee machine is decent. will return for sure.

This boutique hotel is small and location is perfect to see touristy Paris sites. It's walking distance to Louvre and awesome restaurants. We stayed in the 4th floor suite and its big for European hotel rooms. It has a small fridge and large bathroom. Bed was comfortable & there's a hair dryer too. We enjoyed the bakery around the corner and the Restaurant Le Louis all walking distance from hotel. Free breakfast is bread, croissants, and coffee & juice. The kitchen area is super small and we ... Read more

Had a fabulous stay in Paris. The hotel was small and friendly. Staff helpful and full of good advice when asked. Breakfast was typical continental, plentiful and ideal for us. An honesty system worked well for any drinks, both alcoholic and teas and coffees during the rest of the day. The hotel was central and well placed for all the sight seeing we wanted to do. Will be going again there is still so much to see.

My sister and I spent 4 days in Paris at Hotel Crayon. They provided us nice rooms next to each other and both had a street view. The location was excellent. Within short walking distance of the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Le Halles metro station/mall. We were able to get to every location in Paris quite easily. The quaint surrounding immediate neighborhood is not touristy so it shuts down on the weekends. Fortunately the breakfast served is filling and there was no need to leave in the morning t... Hotel Crayon is very close to Louvre, plenty restaurants to eat, metro stations, perfect to have a morning walk towards Seine and have a quick breakfast in one of the small cafes around. Banks, convenience stores and transportation is around the corner. The hotel is modern and cozy, you will have all you need. Elevator is somewhat slow, but if you are in the first 2 floors you'd better use stairs. Staff is very kind and warm, on lobby there are a lot of magazines to read, and a small kitchen. ... Read more

This was my first stay at Hotel Crayon -- I usually stay near Montparnasse -- and I loved it. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the hotel is beautifully decorated, and the amenities are terrific. My room, while small, was beautiful with sketches on the walls and with a very comfortable bed. Importantly for me, it was very quiet at night so I slept soundly. Breakfast was simple but fresh and delicious, with everything I wanted. Additionally, it only takes a couple of minutes to walk to the Me... Read more

This was a great mid-price hotel that is a short walking distance to the Louvre. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean (but small) and we loved the location. It was great to be able to walk down to the Louvre for a couple of hours and walk back without getting totally overwhelmed by the museum by having to see it all in one day. We were able to enjoy the ambiance of Paris and the great restaurants in the area as well as a short walk to the Seine from this hotel. Its not the... Read more

This affordable hotel is in a perfect location, very close to a major train station and the Louvre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was small, however very usable and not inconvenient. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Paris.

I had the experience to visit this hotel for one afternoon. Reception counter is cool with vibrant colors, up to it's name as Crayon Hotel. In the room, color code on the wall is nice... room is small but perfect for 2 person. Bathroom with nice blue/white tiles on the wall. On the wall, a drawing of naked woman.. nice. Curtains is very well block the lights from the outside. Not far from Metro line 7/1 - Palais Royal. Many bistrots around the corner. If you like shoes.. Christian Loubout... Read more

We were incredibly happy with the service and room at the Crayon. Our room was red with a sketch of a woman on the wall. The air conditioning was excellent. The wifi was excellent. It was a small room but big enough for two of us with a decent bathroom. The staff was exceptionally helpful with storing our luggage on the last day and giving us directions. BTW the elevator is very small so be ready

Is a small place! Beautiful and colorful! I'm so grateful with Audrey and Gwenn because they were so friendly and helpful all the time! They are in the reception! I was by myself and Audrey was talking to me all the time and telling me that I was like in home and she really tried to make me feel like that! This girls were giving me all the information that I asked about the subway route to get any place! It was amazing! Thank you girls! I totally recommend hotel crayon!

Absolutely loved our stay here! A very cute hotel in the heart of district 1. Close to everything you want to see. My first visit to Paris with my husband. A very unique feel when you first walk into the hotel...everyone was very helpful. Even got a great recommendation for dinner...they made the reservation for us, quick and easy. You will not be disappointed!!!

The Crayon hotel. The hotel and rooms are small but artistically decorated to do more with less and the location is amazing, near many shops, restaurants, boutiques, the metro, and many various pubs, even a shopping mall located just a couple of blocks away!. The staff is amazing- super friendly, and speak both French and English... It helps because they corrected my French in some instances - which is a good thing, I didn't want to sound foolish out and about town. The area around this hotel ... Read more

I was in this hotel for a few days with my husband and my 5 months old son. The position of the hotel is GREAT. Walk distance from the main places in Paris. In the neighbourhood a lot of cafe and restaurants. The location is REALLY nice, and the staff is EXTREMELY kind. Room is small and not bright, but well furnished. ( we were able to fit a cradle in it). Very good the 7 euros breakfast in the lobby ( much better than some cafe in the surroundings). Excellent value for money.

My husband & I stayed in the junior suite at the Crayon Hotel for three nights this Summer for my birthday celebrations in Paris. What an amazing hotel: fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the Louvre & Pont Neuf, also close to the Metro & Les Halles for RER train to CDG; patient, friendly staff - so lovely; stunning room, particularly the beautiful bathroom with free-standing claw-foot bath & rainfall shower - wonderful! I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. C'est bon! Merci be... Read more

The Hotel Crayon provides a welcome dollop of colour at every turn, a playful and endearing retreat among the touristic distractions multiplying at its doorstep. On entering a room one can‚??t help but feel as though they had stepped into a children‚??s novel about a little girl who likes books and pastels, were it not for the brushed sketch of a cavorting lady adorning the head of the bed. If that oxymoron is not enough to wet your appetite for an evening of delight, a generously stocked recept... Read more

this hotel has a great location, a very friendly and personal approach of all his guests by all its personnel. it has 26 rooms, well decorated. some are street facing, some at the back, what makes them very silent. the location is in the middle of Louvre, Palais Royal Garden, les Halles. everything is very accessible with many restaurants in the neighbourhood. they have 2 types of breakfast: the express version (basic) and the more elaborate version which can be taken at the sister hotel Crayon... Stayed at Hotel Crayon for 3 nights as part of our daughter's 18th Birthday celebrations, the hotel was ideally situated near the Louvre and within walking distance. Although the rooms are small they are really well decorated and 'quirky'. The staff are extremely friendly and they operate an 'Honesty' Bar which will allow you to help yourself to drink, coffee etc. I would definitely return again to this hotel when visiting Paris! I booked this hotel, partly because of the proximity to the Louvre, but also because of the quirkiness of the hotel. Neither was a disappointment. Great room, excellent bed, wonderful staff, superior location, quiet street in the middle of Paris

A quirky hotel with artwork over every surface. Very near to the Louvre and close to lots of bars and restaurants. We came on by train, it's about 10 minutes walk from the station. The staff were lovely, not aloof but friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, which was fortunate because our room was tiny, only one person could get out of bed at a time! Breakfast was informal, help your self but good. We would stay again but in a larger room!

I really liked this hotel. Very friendly staff, central location near the Louvre, but on a (mostly) quiet street, cool stylish décor. Small rooms, but you're not in Paris to spend time in your room. Nice shower. I was woken up at 6.30 on two mornings by a garbage truck passing, but that's not the hotel's fault. I found the erotic wall decoration above the bed a bit dodgy though (see photo)
