Visited here on valentines day weekend with my partner. Extremely impressed with staff and hotel from the moment we walked in. Friendly staff on desk at 11 pm. Nice, warm and welcoming. Room was excellent. Amazing views. Comfortable and homely. Very clean. Room service delivered promptly and with a gorgeous presentation. Transport - 15 mins or so from metro station. All major sites accessible with 30 mins on the metro. 30 min walk to Seinne. Well worth the walk at night. Quiet and safe ar... Read more

This hotel is very friendly and clean. The room is small, but the bed is very large and comfortable. The bathroom is fine with a big shower. The breakfast isn't in room price! Wi-fi is good. Staff is helpful.

This year we came to Paris on a 2-day stop-over to take in Fete National celebrations and chose Hotel Cordelia. First off, great central location for either walking or taking the Metro in a nice neighbourhood. Room was clean and cheerful with bright colours. Staff was professional, helpful and friendly. We arrived in the morning and they stored our luggage so we could go exploring. Then they let us into the room before the official check-in time. Next morning wifi was down and even though tech s... Chose this place from tripadvisor because of many positive reviews. The only negative review was woman at front desk being extremely rude. That is the truth! Rude when we first checked in and whenever having to deal with her. Traveled with my brother who found a musty smell in his room and asked her to check it out. She only made excuses not to until her coworker went up and resolved it. Thank goodness after two days of her a sweet young girl who spoke perfect english was there! She was awesome!... Read more

Found this place on tripadvisor actually. Read the great reviews and I must say they are spot on. It is located in the 8th but the price we paid for the 3 nights was absolutely ridiculous, in a very good way. If you are coming from gare du nord, the hotel is like 10 min away by metro. You only change once and I think total 6/7 stops. Then about 3 min walk from metro station. The hotel was super cute. There was a guy who worked at night and he was super nice. There was a very stern looking lady a... Read more

we stayed there for a week and we loved it. it's a very cozy hotel, the rooms are a bit small but that's the way it is in Europe unless you pay big bucks. the smell of bread baking and the coffee in the morning when you go downstairs to the breakfast restaurant is a smell you won't forget way after your stay there. the location is amazing it is really in the center of Paris where everything you need to do is like minutes away and the underground station is literally around the corner.

This was just perfect for our days in Paris. Front desk went out of their way to be helpful. Excellent location for tourist destinations, trains, and shopping. Very modern, clean fit-out, and good size on Paris standards. We will definitely stay again, and recommend to our friends. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and well presented.

We've been in this hotel last year and it was good. We planned to stay in this hotel again this year. However I just found the quality is has been dropped. The staff in reception is hostile and not friendly. Food in the breakfast doesn't refill. The time I went to breakfast is 9:19 while the breakfast lasts until 10:30. However, much food was running out and when ask the maid to refill, they said the supply for today was finished. They charge ?16 for breakfast. You can surely got more valuable... Read more

Location is good, in the middle of Paris but not that close to a metro station which is a must in Paris. Staff was rude and spoke por english, they gave you the look anytime you asked for something. I stayed here because it had CNN and other channels in english, which is rare in mid range or Budget hotels in France. The place is nice and has a great view (some of the rooms) but beware of the restaurant/bar across the Street, it can be loud on weekends. Ask for a room facing the other side.

Wonderful boutique hotel, clean and tidy, good size room and a bath! Great location 5 mins from the Opera and Gallerias La Fayette. Good selection of cafes in the immediate vicinity. Staff very attentive and forgiving of my attempts at French !

Stayed at the hotel for four days at front end of trip to France and last two days at the end. We were in Burgundy for a few days and Provence for a week. Loved Hotel Cordelia and the affable manager. She was funny, capable and very accommodating. Our last day we found all the streets closed due to Bastille Day and she helped schlep our luggage four blocks to a shuttle. Great room, quiet and nice breakfast. Only downer was the lack of cafes near hotel but we found a great brassiere and became re... Read more

Nice friendly small hotel, located round the corner from the main shopping areas. Very helpful and friendly staff who I contacted before we arrived to arrange wine and chocolates to be put in the room for my wife (as it was our anniversary) - they chose well and didn't charge a fortune!! Well equipped rooms and my wife loved the selection of toiletries and extras in the bathroom. Also well located for a number of local restaurants

Booked Hotel Cordelia for my Birthday weekend. Fell in love with this little hotel from start to finish. We turned up at 2am in the morning which was no problem. The lovely young man was very helpful on reception. The only problem we had was we ended up with a twin not the double we booked. This was sorted out by a lovely older lady on reception 1st thing in the morning. Gorgeous hotel, beautiful décor, super lovely staff. You truly will fall in love with this little hotel the same as we ... Read more

We have stayed here before more than once. It is a traditional Parisian hotel which has been effectively modernised over the years. Inevitably the rooms aren't huge but the space is used well & the bathrooms are very good. It's centrally located near the Madeleine. The staff were charming & very helpful. They will recommend local restaurants & things to do.

Have returned so many times and will again, for Cordelia and I have a history. Love her tucked away but wonderful location, the views over the rooftops, the warm and welcoming lobby. One more than one occasion the staff have gone the extra mile and I value that in a business. As a women often travelling alone I feel safe and valued. Clean, neat and eco friendly, I look forward to returning any time of the year.

The hotel provides a fantastic base in Paris. Walking distance to most attractions (Louvre, Arc de triomphe etc.) Room was small but well appointed and clean - nice bathroom, good shower. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was good every morning with a good selection on offer. Recommend.

Located quite close to Place de la Concorde and the end of the Champs Elysee. The road is very narrow so taxis find it difficult to park. But they dropped us off at the end of the road... only 50 yards to walk. The road itself was quite noisy so after the first night we asked to be moved to a quieter room. This was not a problem for them - maybe it would be in the summer if they were busy so ask for a quiet room ;o) The Louvre was also not far away. Eiffel Tower a bit further - but easily reac... It was a pleasant stay in Paris with a very central location. Walking distance to most things, well we walked everywhere! It felt very safe in this area at night. Rooms were small but I believe this to be typical of Paris.
