Fantastic hotel! We did a long term stay here in a just-above-basic room. The rooms are huge for Parisian standards, the rates are humane and the breakfast is nice. The staff were very kind, very welcoming and all had great English. The location of the hotel cannot be beat for proximity, however the rue Rivoli should be avoided due to all the tourist trap shops. The only complaint I had was the wifi. Very weak, spotty and slow.

The hotel is in a lovely position and the room we had was beautifully decorated. The view from the Velux windows accross Paris was very nice, and the bathroom was huge. Unfortunatly the shower didnt work, and the water didnt get very hot so we ended up with luke warm dribbles that werent the easiest to get clean in, and we couldnt run a bath as there wasnt enough hot water, but as we were only there for two day's it wasnt the biggest inconvenience, and we would stay there again.

Convenient location with Tuilleries metro station accross the street. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and ours had a view of Paris that you could not imagine. We were only in Paris one night before boarding our cruise ship in Honfleur. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do with the little time we had: visit the Musee d'Orsay. The rooms were comfortable and attractive; the staff was most helpful (particularly Anselmo) and gave us a good recommendation for a late-night dinner (L'Absinthe). Added bonus...Angelina's with its to-die-for hot chocolate is just down the street.

We had 2 rooms, #17 (classic) and #15 (superior) and had no issues with #17 at all. #15 on the other hand had several problems. The bathroom smelled of stale water which was caused by 2 problems. We were on our honeymoon and arrived in Paris later in the afternoon. When we arrived, we were put on floor 1.5 which only had one room and an elevator on the floor (strange). When we got into the room, it looked more like an 80's motel than a $300+ a night hotel in paris.
