We stayed here for 3 nights during the May bank holiday weekend. This hotel does everything it says on the tin. The room, although tiny, was well equipped. The room service was delicious and the breakfast was lovely. The main foyer is beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is definitely a 5 star stay. I highly recommend this hotel. It was so good that I'm looking in to staying at one of their barcelona hotels this summer.

Although this hotel is amongst the preferred for the company I work for it isn't for me. Breakfast is overrated, wifi simply doesn't work and not all rooms are good enough. Definitely doesn't worth the money. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous hotel, they were actually filming a movie during our stay in April. The location is great for shopping, close to sites and restaurants. There is no parking on site, therefore parking around the corner beside the Police station for 20 Euros daily was the best option. Room service was delicious. Beautiful but cozy room, very modern with great views of Paris.

Hotel good for business stays. Pros: clean, large bathroom, good location, nice large lobby with some sweets in jars, view of sacre coeur could be seen. Cons: bedroom is very small, wardrobe is equally small, breakfast selection isn't vast, but not bad either.

We stayed here for the second time last September for a few nights away. We love the location of this property, close to all the shops in Opera, the opera house and mainline metro stations. We stayed somewhere on rue de clichy the second time but its location wasn't as good, so decided to return to banke. Our first visit was lovely, we had a room on the fifth floor and it was great. However this time we were given a first floor room (I asked for higher at check in but hotel was full and they s... Read more

And the there's how reasonably priced it is. We have been here before my partner & I.. . . .& against my better judgement I did agree to return ths time..because not only DID they have rooms (getting increasingly difficult in Central Paris at nearly ANY price) they were at reasonable pricing levels--not matched (despite rhetoric) by any competitors. The so-called Exec Room Upgrade was a joke due in large part because there was not even a tiny desk--which any Exec. Level room in other Small Hot... Read more

The tone was set from the moment we arrived. It was about 8.30am on a Monday morning and we had just spent 30 gruelling hours in transit from Australia. We were expecting to have to wait for our room at that hour of the morning - but NO, we were given access to our room immediately and without even having to ask if it perhaps may be ready. Friendly and efficient service at the desk, a warm smile and perfect English and after an easy check in, we were shown straight up to our room by a staff m... Read more

The hotel Banke is a nice old bank turned into a 5star hotel. The room is ok, but there is a problem with the wifi. Half of the time it was so slow that it took minutes to open google. Frustrating like hell. The location near the galeries lafayette and the opera is very good. I also missed a dedicated concierge.

My wife and I recently spent 5 nights at the Banke - and were impressed by the hotel from the moment we walked into their stunning lobby. Once an old bank building, the hotel gains an elegant feeling from the historic decor. The location, steps from Galleries Lafayette, is busy but convenient to the metro, shopping and many restaurants. We loved our room. Large, comfortable and well-furnished, it was an ideal place to stay. The bed was ideal, sitting area nice and the bath-room large and wel... Read more

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is perfect , an easy walk to the Louvre. We loved the room, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. The best part of this hotel though is their wonderful staff. They couldn't have done a better job!! A special shout out to Rudy who after calling us a cab on a busy rainy day stood outside and talked with us while we waited. He made an American family feel very welcome in Paris.

Everything was going well until I got my bill and noticed two charges for £24 and £48. I asked what they were for and was told 'minibar' but they couldn't quite tell me what items I had bought. I only had some nuts (mind you, 12EUR for a box of nuts!) and room service (£50) so the bill was quickly corrected. It's disappointing that a hotel should let itself down by overcharging, or just making up charges. I forgot whether it was any good now.

My boyfriend took me to Paris for Valentine's Day (Cliche, I know) this past February and I ended up picking this hotel for its boutique claim. It has a really cute charm to it and a great staff. We ended up getting a room that is shaped oddly (facing the main street entrance) and a queen sized bed and extensive bath area. The room was really nice and the bathroom had a shower and nice bath. The location was further from the Eiffel Tower than I thought it would be, but an easy cab (or Uber) ride... Read more

Hotel Banks is well located near galleries Lafayette. The staff is very helpful and always asking what they can do. The rooms themselves are all different. Generally the rooms are very small and dark with irregular shapes. The house keeping is excellent. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is a bit pricey and is not included in the room rate. The WIFI was variable . You are not able to have 3 persons in any room category.

given the location I wasn't expecting too much, but I was very impressed with the beautiful lobby and great service at reception. The room was up to a great spec with excellent details. Not a lot around at night but it was a 15 min walk from gare du nord and close to many other great sites. Definitely going back

We had an amazing time. Everything was provided at the hotel and the service was excellent! We enjoyed the private gym and Sauna and even got help from the main GM when we needed to get medication for my fiance. The hotel manager made sure we received our medication and our vacation was wonderful.

This hotel is a complete ripoff. You're going to pay 200‚?¨ to walk through a lobby full of art and 34‚?¨ for hostel-style accommodations. I rented a single at a rate of 234‚?¨ for a single night. There's 2-feet of space around the bed, no desk, a single towel, and water pressure so low you're banging your knees into the wall to get your hair wet. They put a vinyl image of a desk and a chair on the wall because there's no room to put an actual desk and chair in the room. If you brought a suitc... Read more

Hotel Banke is a modern, very nice Hotel with super friendly and professional staff. The hotel is located perfectly close to the Opera where, among other things, the Airport coaches has its final stop. The rooms are very clean and cozy, but a bit too small. I stayed here on a recent business trip, it was booked by my company so I didn't have any input. Paris is renowned for being expensive and any hotel I have ever stayed in the rooms have always been small (compared to other hotels in other European cities) With that taken into consideration, I would still say the room was even smaller than the norm for Paris and that despite the lovely décor and location, the hotel itself is over priced. My advise - do your homework and you will find something... Read more

We spent four nights at Hotel Banke and upgraded to a suite which was fantastic and well worth the special rate we paid. Everything was spotless, comfortable and plenty of space in the room. Loved this hotel. All the staff were fantastic and reception gave us great recommendations. When we arrived, all the bellboys rushed to help us with our luggage and every time we went out they were always opening doors for us and assisting us with taxi's. The only flaw was the cleaners didn't clean the floors everyday and they looked clean but my feet always got dirty. Overall would go back!

It was a decent stay. The staff was perfect. The hotel is very dark and gloomy. The rooms are too small. Location is great. Quite central. Loved the staff. They were very friendly and gave perfectly warmed milk for my baby every night. Breakfast is good not great. Just the hotel didn't seem appealing. Would prefer another one next time!

The hotel is very well situated, the room was clean modern however pretty basic for a 5 star. The restaurant was also closed for the month of August so we could not take advantage of this. Staff were polite and friendly Be careful with taxi drivers to hotel is should cost ‚?¨40-45 a taxi driver tried to charge us ‚?¨90 and we were told this is not common do not pay!

Banke's entrance and lobby are spectacular and ... "different" (in a nice way: the building used to be a bank). The decoration of the rooms is also nice and interesting. However, the rooms are very small (I had a junior suite which would have been a normal single room in other hotels) and, despite a plethoric staff, the service is very slow and sub-standard for this price range

Had 2 nights. Classy hotel, nice building, with a beautifull lobby. Classy hallways with art. Entrance staff always there and helpful. Couple of negs: noisy room due to wooden floor and too thin door separating to next neighbor, rather dead/quiet area at night (closest is Opera close)- but great for day shopping. So not a super 5-star but pretty good with you get a deal (easy online).

Check-in was a new adventure in rudeness (and that's based on my Paris standards, not American expectations.) The hotel has seen better days. My room had damages to floor, a hole in the drapes, sloppy caulking in the w.c., scratches on the paneling... The promised daily mineral water only arrived once in 6 days. My bedside rose on the first day was a nice touch, but every day following, they just left me a vase of murky water. (It looks like i have a bong in my room.) At $375/night i expect bett... Read more
