Perfect location for shopping and sightseeing in Paris! Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Room was cosy and nice, but I had problem with sleeping. It was very difficult to regulate temperature, so I and my sister woke up few times at night because of high temperature. We tried to sleep with open window, but it was very cold outside, so that's why I had to close and open it couple of times. Breakfast was average, nothing special. I expected much more from 4-star hotel.

Very good location, walking distance from the Champs-lysées and Place Charles de Gaule. Large and comfortable room and large bathroom. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very standard. However, I found it a little bit expensive.

With it's private balcony and unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower, the Royal Suite at Hotel Balzac was the best choice for our last night in Paris. The hotel itself was beautiful and impeccably clean. Breakfast and dinner at Hotel Balzac was superb. Hotel staff were incredibly kind, efficient, knowledgeable, and committed to making our stay memorable. We cannot wait to stay at Hotel Balzac again.

We stayed at this delightful hotel for our Anniversary trip. The staff was very welcoming and they provided us with a upgraded room with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. This is a great location for the 7th Arron, 2 blocks to Arc d Triomphe and the Champs. We also had dinner in the Pierre Gagniare, one of the best restaurants in the world. It was a fantastic experience.

Delightfully traditional hotel, perfectly situated for key shopping and sightseeing. The elegant and comfortable surroundings were echoed by the very helpful and welcoming staff. We were able to check in early. When they realised it was a family birthday they sent a treat to the room and made excellent suggestions for dinner. I would definitely stay there again.

Set in an excellent location this hotel quietly gets in with being a quality hotel. Small, discrete, professional and friendly. The only let down is breakfast with is poor in choice and over priced. Plenty of local restaurants and a multi starred in-house option.

What a beautiful hotel. Typically I stay at larger luxury hotels. During this visit to Paris I thought I would try a smaller luxury hotel. I am really happy that I did. The staff was warm and welcoming. Every detail had charm. The room and all the amenities were great. This is now my hotel when I return to Paris,

Great Location! Beautiful hotel and rooms! Comfortable! Friendly and helpful staff! Just a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe and the Avenue des Champs-Elysees shopping. Great restaurants nearby as well. We had a room with balcony and view of the Eiffel Tower which was small but perfect. The breakfast isn't the best for selection or value; however, the room service and evening menu is just right for a quick hotel meal. Will definitely be our first choice when we return.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of June (20-25). Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Julian at the reception desk. He checked us in personally and then showed us to our room. Our bags were brought up shortly after by an attendant. I had paid an extra 100 euros a night to guarantee a view of the Eiffel Tower from our suite and I will say it was worth every penny. The view from our room on the 4th floor was amazing. We're were in a Deluxe Room (411) and from the balcony you could see alm... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was small but clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Great location only 2 mins walk from George V metro station and shops and restaurants of the Champs élysées. The service however was not great. Our second night it was raining heavily. We were booked at a restaurant 10 mins walk away. We have stayed at Hotel Balzac on numerous occasions over the past 20 years. The service and attention to detail are always first class, and the rooms are extremely nice. The front desk and especially the concierge were most helpful in arranging car services and 3-star restaurant reservations. We plan to stay there again on our next trip to Paris.

Fantastic hotel, perfect location not far front Arc Du Triumph, just off the Champ Elysee. Hotel has nice entrance, lovely rooms, ours was looking into the courtyard rather than the street which we would have preferred. My fiance especially liked the 'princess bed', the only negative would be the toilet in bathroom could do with being replaced! Other than that I would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel Balzac!

Last summer I stayed at the Balzac, great location right next to the Champs Elysees an area bustling with life and attractions. The hotel staff are warm and welcoming. The booking through booking.com clearly mentioned 4 rooms close or same floor. Unfortunately due to the high occupancy it was impossible so we ended up on different floors. This hotel is a difficult one to review- I want to be fair. The issue is that there are some wonderful things about it but then other elements that ruined the overall impression. Let me start with the good. The hotel is beautifully decorated. It will LOOK fabulous and grand in pictures. This is great for your holiday memories and also for the hotel's personal advertising. There are staff (such as the lady who checked me in) who are lovely and attentive. I booked a junior suite- loved it! They... Read more

We chose to wrap up our 2 week vacation in France with a stay at the Hotel Balzac. The hotel was everything I had hoped for. The staff was accommodating and professional. The lobby is charming and, as with most nice European hotels, dominated by the concierges who take care of everything for you with a smile.
