I regularly stay here on business, often arriving late and leaving the next morning, but I always get a warm welcome, a quiet night's sleep and a hugely comfortable bed. The 'snug' lobby bar is great for a nightcap and the breakfast is excellent. The main restaurant is very much a fine dining destination, so won't tick the box if you want to grab a casual bite to eat, but if you just want a steak-frites you can walk 100m either way and find a number of classic bistros.

We booked a suite for our wedding night - upon arrival the room assigned was absolutely awful. It was a dark jail cell facing an exterior alley way and was the size of a parking space with no bath. They had no better room to move me to, but said "I may be able to take wedding photos in a nicer room" - disgusting. I gave the horrid room to one of my wedding guests and her pet dog and booked at the Hilton Opera (fantastic). To top this off, my parents who were clearly not getting married retur... Read more

My family booked a trip to Paris and this excellent hotel as a surprise for my 60th Birthday. What a wonderful choice it was. The hotel is absolutely spotless, efficient, friendly and within walking distance of most things. When we had been out sightseeing and returned to the hotel it was so calm, quiet and relaxing. The staff had even arranged for a card in my room and a complimentary drink in the bar. All I can say is that we will definitely be back - it was a fantastic weekend in a super... Read more

I will preface my review by saying that this was just a quick, one night stop. We had two lovely rooms (deluxe, I believe) for our family of four. Our room had a nice little balcony that was perfect for fresh air and also a very "Parisian" view of the buildings across the way. The kids' room (two doors down) did not have a balcony but was still spacious and had an awesome bathroom. The hotel's location is excellent on it's own, but there is also a Metro station close by for getting around the ci... Read more

I booked this hotel through Hotwire and was I lucky. It is a great location - close to the Champs Elysse and the Eiffel Tower. It is a lovely hotel, beautiful appointments and a great staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but the intimate rooms would be especially nice for a romantic trip.

If i was on my seminal, virginal or primary visit to Paris, this address would be hard to beat, located as it is between Eiffle tower and Arc de Triomphe. When you step onto the hotel's rooftop, the view affords greater sights than from the iron lady's. Give nearby Champs-Elysees the flic as its too commercial and charmless....once seen better forgotten. Across the road is your own metro Boissiere station replete with its ornate "Metropolitan" art deco entrance, your two feet can traverse easi... Read more

Wow, What a lovely hotel. What a great location, you can genuinely walk to any where that you wanna go in Paris from this hotel. Champs-lysées is like 10 min walk away if that. This hotel literally is in the heart of PARIS... I just got married a few months back and decided to take my wife for her birthday to paris for the weekend. We had such a lovely time. First of all when ı wrote that review ı am sure that they will write back that they will try to fix it next time but what about this stay ? When we booked this hotel I specifically asked for a room not close to an elevator. The room we were allocated turned out to be opposite an elevator. I requested a room change which, for reasons beyond me, took the lady on reception more than 20 minutes to arrange. The new room turned out to be opposite a service lift which was in constant use. I gave up on another room change. The air conditioning/room heating was not working and when we requested it be fixed a maintenance man spend 40 minutes ... Read more

We visited Paris a few months ago, I was worried about the sizes of the rooms as I heard that European rooms were usually smaller then we are used too. But to my surprise - the rooms were perfect for us! The Staff was friendly and helpful and the morning breakfasts were fabulous! Not to mention he Perfect location to the major sites! Thanks for a wonderful Paris Experience!

From reception to concierge to room cleaning and restaurant you enjoy a smily and professional service. Always ready to assist to your demands and beyond. Your habits are always remembered and that what makes the difference in hotel business to keep your customers coming back to enjoy a peaceful stay. Recommended of course for the above described opinion but also for its location.

It is in the prime location of Paris, near to Champs Elysse the happening street, Arc de Triumph, Eiffel Tower etc. Rooms are good, breakfast has variety. It has a ancient touch in the architecture. Staff very courteous. You can simply walk down from hotel and you find a lot of eating alternatives if you love variety of food and most of them has street seating area which we loved most.

Hi, we bought 2 rooms in this hotel . Hotel is well placed as far as location is concerned. Hardly 20 mins walk from champ Elysées and almost similar distance from Eiffel Tower. There are many eateries around the hotel. Carrefour is 2 mins walking. There is very nice Indian hotel very close , called New Jawed. Metro is also just across the hotel. 5 mins walking. The rooms are very clean and well kept. Morning buffet breakfast has a nice spread. The staff is helpful and courteous.... Read more

We knew not to expect excellence in service in Paris, but this went above and beyond bad service. The good: 1. Good Location 2. Great Bell Boys service The Bad: 1. The front desk and management service doesn't exist. 2. Our mothers were trapped in their 1930's tiny elevator for 20 minutes (1 of them i claustrophobic) and when the Bellboys (Not management) solved the issue. We expected something in return and the manager basically said "I won't talk to you anymore!" - After traveling all over t... Read more

This hotel is situated in the Trocadero area on Avenue Kleber, which is a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. For those who want to shop in Paris I will not recommend this hotel as it's quite a walk to Champs Elysees and St. Honore area. But the metro is near. Stayed on the 6th fl in a junior suite. Which, as for an Asian, this so called "suite" is considered just a Deluxe room to me. Sitting area has just one chair and it's at the end of the bed. The overall quality of the room is good. So the location of this hotel is pretty fabulous - by walking one way down the Champs-Elysées you'll arrive at the Arch of Triumph and by walking the other way you'll arrive at the Eiffel Tower - literally about 5 minutes walk to each. In between are tons of shops and restaurants and grocery stores. My husband and I stayed here for three days while visiting Paris in September of 2015. I spent two nights with my wife at Hotel Baltimore Paris Champs-Elysees by Sofitel. The hotel is situated in Rue Kleber close to Champs-Elysees and Tour Eiffel. The staff were gorgeous, breakfast was superb, but the room was too small even to move within. One incident occurred during our stay that really offended us, me and my wife, but the hotel management tried to fix it promptly.

This hotel's location was hard to beat. The concierge Mathieu and some of the staff were excellent. The downsides were the damp smell coming out of the rooms which we had one junior suite and another room next door. Our kids room had a balcony where ours did not. Breakfast is good. Is it really good enough anymore for hotels to charge hefty prices for weathered carpet and strips coming from wallpaper. Don't expect a view if you order a junior suite.

This hotel is lovely on arrival, staff lovely, had 2 suites which were lovely but my third room was in need of decor, paper falling off wall, room real let down what a shame. I wish all the rooms were of the same level as they charge a high level of cost

A lot of reviewers have mentioned the small rooms. True. However, that's typical for older European hotels. At least I could open the window for fresh air and it had a working air conditioner. I can't complain about that. Breakfast was pretty good. No complaints there, either. No complaints about the staff. We were only there for one night, so if there were imperfections we did not experience them. I would stay here again.

We just spent 4 nights there with two rooms. The location was a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and metro was a block away. The staff was welcoming and responsive to requests. Matthieu was very helpful and had great recommendations. The breakfast was fantastic, large coffee cups and plenty of options. We only had the classic room which was very very small. We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Baltimore. Great location in the heart of an upscale area of the city. We could walk to the Metro a half a block away and go anywhere. We were in walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, The Arc and Champs Elysees. I know it sounds silly, but we picked the hotel primarily because we could pronounce the name (we don't speak French). My spouse and I were here for 4 nights in July starting on July 14 (Bastille Day!). The location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the Arc De Triomphe and 10-15 to the Eiffel Tower. Close to many subway stops. We booked a junior suite and it was wonderful. Our windows overlooked Kleber Ave (2nd floor).
