Really enjoyed our stay, great location in a quiet part of the city yet just a scenic walk away from the Arc de Triomphe. Being so close to the Metro meant nowhere was out of reach, and the transfer from CDG was also very straightforward given the Hotel's location towards the NW of the city. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast, attentive staff - hard to fault it especially at such reasonable prices for Paris. Would happily stay again!

I've stayed here before so obviously thought it worth coming back. First the positives: As before, the staff are uniformly helpful, the rooms are well appointed and a decent size for Paris. It's very well situated with easy Metro access, you can see the Eiffel tower from the upper floors (we were on floor 7), all the major sites are within a 20 minute ride, good free wi-fi. They have a lovely outdoor central courtyard where you can eat breakfast, a nice way to start the day and there are several... Read more

This is a good hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are good if a bit small but this is Paris! Only dining facility is breakfast. Nothing available for lunch or dinner which is a surprise as the hotel markets itself as four stars. Bar area is very nice but as we discovered if you want a drink after 8pm on a Sunday forget it. Room service is limited and is not available after 10pm. Location for the metro is brillIant and there are several very good places to eat in the area anyway.

The staff at Hotel Ampere have their acts together. They were overly accommodating, very friendly, and very professional. I will stay here again! The rooms were very clean, not that big (expected), but nice.

Great hotel in a convenient part of Paris. Staff at the hotel are helpful and friendly. Close to the metro. Clean and modern. Rooms are small but remember this is Europe! Some lovely restaurants within walking distance. The Arc de Triomphe is not too far away.

Centrally Located and only about a 10 min walk to Arc de Triomphe. The Metro is literally like 2-3min walk. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe's walking distance. the Service at Hotel Ampere is exceptional. It is a small Hotel, very clean, very friendly staff. we really enjoyed our stay here in Paris and would definitely come back.

We have been to Paris many times and find it very difficult to find a nice hotel at a good price...Voila!! We were so happy to be greeted by such a jovial staff. They were very welcoming to us 3 tired travelers. We (couple) stayed in one building and my brother stayed in their other building, but had the same room numbers! ha! Both rooms were very nice, a little larger that Paris average, but nicely appointed. The location was great and there were many fine restaurants in the area....we hig... Read more

As a travel agent, I'm always on the lookout for a hotel to recommend...this one works. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing king size bed and the location on the 7th floor kept the street noise down. We didn't take the breakfast option as I thought the ‚?¨19 to be a bit much. We did find a coffee shop, frequented by locals, just up the street and had an amazing cup of coffee each, along with a juice and croissant for our daughter...‚?¨12 total. Me and my wife had a good stay in the hotel. We sleeped very well every night, so the bed must have been very good. For Paris the value ist quite OK, the rooms are clean and the hotel is not far from a metro-station.

I love this hotel. The people are very friendly, genuine and "outgoing"! They make me feel like home and have gone over and above for me in so many ways. Just like family. My time in Paris is for business and this location is perfect for me - close but tucked away. Great ambiance (with fireplace) in the lobby bar. Bar "guys" are cool and so much fun!!! I actually found the Ampere by mistake but "what a find". It's my Paris home. Really!

We loved this hotel and were very happy there until our last morning when we had to wait 15 mins to be seated for breakfast because there was not enough seating. This might have been ok if we had been offered a drink while we waited. To make things worse the member of staff who was managing the guests who were waiting did not notice who had arrived first, letting in a couple who had arrived after us in first. He was also very rude when I complained saying they only had a set number of covers an... Read more

Stayed here recently with the family on a tour of Europe. This hotel is in a fantastic & quiet neighborhood (Arrondissement 17), yet close to a Metro stop (Pereire - Line 3) so you can get anywhere quickly & easily. To us, the gem of this hotel is it's inner courtyard/garden - a great place to enjoy a fantastic breakfast and start your day right. The staff was also super helpful helping us navigate the city, as there were civil worker strikes going on while we were there.

We sourced the Ampere Hotel on line and were pleased that we stayed there. The staff offer over and above customer service and all reception staff speak English. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to the metro, Perriere station and from there you can buy a ticket or pass and change lines very easily. We ate the buffet breakfast each day of our stay which was excellent. Adequate supply and good quality hot and cold foods. The rooms are not large, typical of Europe hotels but clean, with a fridge, coffe... Read more

Beautiful hotel! Everything is first class. It's not a super big place so you don't feel like you're being over crowded or it's too loud ect. Perfect. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are great as well. Breakfast is delicious and has a wide selection. The hotel is also located in a great part of town with amazing restaurants just meters away. Another great feature was the fact that a metro line was literally right down the street. I spent 2 nights in a junior suite at the Ampere hotel. From the entrance, everything is spotless . The receptionists are welcoming and very polite. The bar area looks great and the patio is great to spend some time there and relax. The suite is spacious, nicely decorated and with plenty storage space. The bathroom is big, and has a awesome shower cabin. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the products available there were from l'occitane. Nice touch. Also, another thing that I really enj... No frills. Stayed for a night and worked a lot so not a huge experience of the property, but the room was decent, room service good and location worked a treat Only down side was having no blinds and curtains that didn't fully close - an early morning wake up in July. Otherwise no big complaints and would stay again.

My mom and I stayed at the Hotel Ampere for three nights as a Paris extension to a Viking River Cruise. On arriving, we checked in easily with the hotel and was greeted by Paula at the Viking desk in the lobby. She was often there for Paris advice, etc, and also gave us a mini tour of the area. The hotel was small, modern and clean. It was very comfortable, with a boutique feel rather than large corporate. Enjoyed our weekend stay in this very nice hotel. Good size room for Paris, very comfortable king size beds, excellent room service breakfast (highly recommend) and right beside the Metro (Perriere). Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff were very attentive. Only complaint about this hotel would be the prices on the mini bar, but that is not that unusual.

Flew into Paris to do a Viking River Cruisea and stayed an extra 3 days in Paris before the start of cruise. Viking had us ok'd into this hotel and we were very happy with it. Our room was large and had a comfortable King sized bed. They are in a small northeast section of Paris that had every thing we needed. We were in walking distance of the Arch de Triumph. Only positive things to say about this hotel. Reception personnel in particular were fantastic, offering speedy, polite, friendly and informative service on check in. Our room was very well equipped, with a comfy bed and a very nice view from the balcony onto a Parisian street that really made you feel you were part of the city (I have attached a photograph of the view from our room). This hotel was a great place for our recent trip to Paris. The Arc de Triomphe was about a 15 minute walk. Cab rides to main tourist attractions in the city, depending on traffic, ranged from 12-20 euros. There is a metro stop one block away as well as a taxi stand. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, including a brasserie that served dinner earlier than the typical 7pm, and an excellent pizza place on the nearby circle. We loved this hotel. In a less busy area but literally across the street from metro so no problem getting around. There are several good restaurants on the round about at end of street and a grocery store. We found metro easy to use so best of all worlds, got to touristy areas with ease but came back to a less hurried area in the evening. We had L'occitane products in bathroom. Enjoyed drinks from the bar out in the courtyard. Excellent stay, will stay here again if we return to Paris.
