Wonderful little boutique hotel very near both Gare du Nord and d l'est. Is also located near the underground. Front desk staff was very friendly and fluent in many languages, including english. The room is what I can only describe as perfectly french, mine with a street view was very quiet with window closed.

Really convenient location close to Gare du Nord. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Fairly small bedroom so glad I had booked the double. Good choice of food at the continental breakfast. Very friendly staff and made to feel welcome.

Rooms were small but clean and functional. Breakfast was basic but did the job. Location good for transport around the city, short walk from both Gare de Nord and L'est and the Paris tour bus also picked up on the corner. No complaints and would stay there again

Stayed here in April 2015 on a family trip to Paris. First time for me. The hotel is a very easy walk from Gare de l'est and the staff are delightful. Very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very small but as a base to lay your head they are perfectly fine. There is a bad next door which is very nice but the drinks are expensive as they are in the rest of Paris. Look for happy hour which is normally between 3 and 6 in most places where drinks can be about ?3. Otherwise they are about ?6 -... Read more

Been here a week ago and had a good time. Simple, but good, clean rooms, kind and helpful reception. We've been just sleeping and having shower here so the place was perfect for our needs. Bigger rooms are surely better but ir depends how much you are planning to spend in house. Would return next time.

I recently spent a weekend at Alane Hotel, located two minutes from Gare de l'est, so ideal for people arriving by train. I really enjoyed my room there which was spotlessly clean, with nice double bed, cable TV, wifi, new modern shower, very hot water, pretty much everything needed. The staff is very helpful and friendly too. Breakfast is pretty nice but NOT included in room price (12 euros). However, Avenue Magenta is very very noisy all night long even with windows and curtains closed. it i... Read more

All staff is really keen to help u and go the extra mile without any pbl. The issue is actually the room I was given extra tiny no space to move around the bed clean but old design and furniture. Bed far from being fantastic... Ratio quality price ok. Did not teu breakfast. Wld recommend it for 1 night max.

Really like the hotel, the room. Room is comfy and bed too. However the area is kinda noisy, lots of people 24/7 and one major problem was the breakfast. It is quite small for this kind of a price. Rest is ok.

Hotel Alane is quite good for a short stay and a very good budget hotel. Staff at reception are very friendly and are supportive in providing a lot of info with a smile....Rooms are not that big but are very much ok for a short trip. Only problem in this hotel is the staff at the dining doesn't speak any language other than French which is a big problem for English speakers like me.

We stayed for a long weekend and loved it. Rooms are small but who sleeps in a stadium. Very clean and tidy. Sound proofed because the traffic is very loud. Easy two minute walk from Gare de nord and two minutes from Gare de l'est. 24 hour reception. I would most definitely stay here again

This little hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Gare-De Nord and about the same distance from the Gare De L'Est.The hotel has a 24hr service, the reception staff were very helpful, had a good knowledge of the the little hidden gems were to eat, what to avoid. The room was a good size ,more than suited our needs, although on a busy road, you could not hear road noise. The breakfast was great, the breakfast staff went about her business with little fuss, very efficient.

The location is convenient for the Gare du Nord and Gare d'Est and the rooms are small but comfortable. I found all the staff friendly and helpful - breakfast not the widest choice I've had but more than adequate. One thing to note - the breakfast room is in the basement and not accessible via the lift, as far as I could see. Wifi is free, but as with all the establishments I visited in France the connection is open but requires you to sign in on a web page each time you re-connect - I found t... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights , hotel location is excellent with Gare du nord / east international rail stations and multiple subways stations close by. Friendly and helpful staff, I had a request/complain about some very loud neighbors next to my room and it was addressed quick and efficiently and They even offered me to change my room if I wanted right on the spot, on my book that was a great customer service. My Room was clean, small but functional and it had a balcony !!! It's a very noisy area but th... Read more

The room was clean. It was small and a little bit pricey. Showers were very small and it was very difficult to move. In addition, the water spilled everywhere when taking a shower. The only good point is it is near Railway station.

This hotel was ideally placed for our short sight seeing trip to Paris. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location meant that we could split our 3 days into sections still with the ability to return to base to freshen up.

Hotel Alane is situated on a busy Street but was quite easy to find. The hotel and room was very clean...the rooms was quite small but we only used the room to sleep in so it wasn't an issue for us. The hotel staff and friendly and helpful which is always a blessing. On my next return to Paris, I will be booking in the same hotel.
