We loved this place! Cheery, helpful Staff, very clean, comfy Queen Sized beds and a strong shower. The rooms are cozy small which is the norm in European Hotels. You don't go to beautiful Paris to sit in your Hotel room! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends!

Aida, very nice just renovated hotel. Close to wonderful neubourhood, Marrais, and close to main intersting points, also do not forget to cross the canal ( 5 minutes to the east side of the hotel) and check out that area. Also a 20 minutes walk from the Gare du nord and / or metro station (line 5) 3 minutes from hotel. Very friendly and helpfull staff Rooms, with window inside hotel was well as window street side. Amazing quiet rooms, when windows closed. Airco available. Rooms quite small bu... Read more

Pretty central location in general, roughly same distance to Moulin Rouge or to Louvre or Notre Dame. Close to 3 Metro Stations. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Only issue was the poor wifi reception in the room. Intermittent and very weak.

It's a lovely small hotel close to Gare du Nord. It has everything you need for short break, metro, shops and bistros. Very helpful staff at the front desk. I bought tickets online and the lady printed them for me. Definitely will come back to this hotel.

We stayed there while There were protest on Republique. Does not matter, still a relatively better hotel in terms of price and clealiness. This was our second time in the hotel. I can say that the rooms in floors 1 and 3 are better decorated than the 3rd floor.

This hotel is such good value for some important reasons to me It is always welcoming regarding the staff all of who have good english It is very well located for all public transport and walking distance to many of the popular tourist sites It has good free Wi Fi , modern bedrooms and lobby and spotlessly clean all round I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else at this price range

30 years ago we visited Paris 6 months after our marriage. We returned this year 6 months after our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed at the Aida Marais. It was a lovely hotel. The room was clean and daily towel service was appreciated. The staff particularly Olga were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They even put up with our school french! We loved the area, it was buzzing with life and very french feel. It was a little off the tourist trail which we loved. I have mobilit... Read more

Good hotel. Room size was a little small but that was to be expected. Overall a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and, most importantly, it was clear and well looked-after. I would definitely recommend.

Since our arrival of the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who went above and beyond to get our room ready for us (including help set up the safe). When we wanted to venture out to the main tourist attractions (I.E: The Eiffel Tower), the staff were more than happy to help and even handed us a map of the underground/bus routes with the trains and stops we needed to take. The downside to the hotel was that we arrived back from day one to find our room had been made-up, not an... Read more

We were greeted by a lovely receptionist, who made us feel welcome and recommended local hotspots. The hotel was very close to metro stops - so travelling around Paris is very easy. The room was very clean and had a nice view. Overall, the hotel was great value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

I think one of the best areas to stay in Paris is Marais (arrondissements 3 and 4) - a stylish neighborhood, with many restaurants, nice buildings, relaxed atmosphere and plenty of subway stations. AIDA MARAIS is right on the edge of this neighborhood, on a quiet street a few steps from Place de la Republique, with easy access to the Metro and with good connections towards all the most important attractions. Although on the street where the hotel is located there are only 2 restaurants and a B... Read more

I'm always looking for a bargain because we spend our holidays sight seeing and not at the hotel. This was perfect for the budget traveler like us. You are a very short walk to the metro station. Room was small but clean. Refrigerator in the room was nice so we could save money by shopping nearby and keeping drinks and snacks. Room has several outlets for charging phones, etc. Well stocked with shampoo, lotion and soaps. Hairdryer also provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Perhaps not the... Read more

For a three star hotel, this hotel is value for money and a joy to live in. The rooms are very clean and service is exemplary. Besides that staff are cheerful and willing too support you at any time. For a non French speaking person, it was nice to note that all staff spoke English and this was extremely helpful to me.

The location is really good, close to several train stations and restaurants. The only downside is the size of the bathroom, the shower room specifically, big people will have bad times there. The decoration of the room is also really weird IMO, not important.

The staff is very friendly. It gave me info about the means to the places I wanted to see. The room is very cozy, clean and fully respected my expectations. The hotel is a few meters from Piazza della Repubblica, which intersects 5 lines of the Underground, which is a geographical factor for travel by public transport.

This hotel was very clean with modern accommodations and friendly English speaking staff. The room was small but not excessively small for being in Paris. Bed was very large and comfortable, listing said queen but seemed to be closer to a king size. Not exactly in the heart of the city but about a 5 min walk to metro then 15-30 minutes to all major attractions. We booked this hotel online via and paid £340 for 2 people for 4 nights in September '16. The hotel is walking distance from 2 metro stops (Republique and Jacques Bonsergent, this is closest and in the street parallel) and great location for getting around. The hotel has 51 rooms and from the outside its impossible to imagine. However once inside you understand why.....the rooms are incredibly small and cramped and they have certainly crammed the rooms in to maximise on capacity. Our... Read more

Small hotel with good connections to the metro system at Republique station. Small, but comfortable room. The breakfast didn't impress at all, but offered the basics. This was our fifth trip to Paris and during the first four we stayed in mid-priced hotels on both banks that never really satisfied us in the price vs. value equation. The Aida Maris finally gave us the value we have been looking for. I selected it since we were coming from London on the Eurostar to Gare du Nord and the Aida Maris was just a short metro ride from the train station. The room was nice, if a little cozy. The beds were great, the bathroom a decent size and well equipped, and everything was clean. There's an electric kettle in the room, with free coffee and tea. The only issue I would point out with the room would be the twin beds. They separated too easily (I guess they were on wheels), so we ended up needing to push them together quite often. The hotel is two minutes walk from Jacques Bonsergent metro station on subway line 5. And if you wish, you can walk for half an hour walk to the center of Paris. Room is spacious enough for a hotels in this city, courteous staff at the reception (it was nice for us to meet a countrywoman from Ukraine). Breakfast is not used, there are a lot of bakeries where you can have breakfast.

My wife and I stayed Saturday night. Easy to find, well located (25 min walk to Centre Pompidou), well priced, well managed. Receptionist helpful. We asked for and got a nice 5th flr room with cute balcony overlooking the street. Not much street noise at night. Good heating, good bathroom (new) room small but perfect for our needs.
