Other than the somewhat indifferent concierge service no real complaints. Very well situated. Nice bar and excellent breakfast in bed. I was upgraded to the executive floor without the lounge privileges, though I did visit it. It is nice but not as extravagant as others such as Fairmont or Mandarin.

Hotel was so lovely. The staff was helpful and always had smiles on their faces! The concierge was so helpful with dinner reservations, directions, and even Metro information. Room was very large and we had everything necessary for a wonderful stay. The wait staff at breakfast could use some more training but the food choices were just great!

A high-class and expensive (rightly so) Hotel in the heart of Paris, a walk from the Arc de Triomphe and buses, etc. top flight room and reasonable breakfast, with a Chef on site making fresh omelettes. Usual awful bacon etc. in a hotplate arrangement. The restaurant was truly excellent, with an eye-watering bill which we did not mind as it was worth every Euro.

Travelled with family and was very well looked after. Staff were very attentive but not over bearing. The only snag was that the room service menu needs to cater to a wider selection of nationalities and the air conditioning in the rooms needs to be improved.

The hotel is in a good location. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice service a little slow you had to be asked if you wanted tea or coffee two mornings we weren't asked. The rooms are nice and clean but for the price a little average and small. You always expect mini bars to be exspensive but not to pay 8 euros for a chocolate bar. Or a can of fizzy pop. The car parking is very exspensive aswell in total we paid over 120euros for three days parking. We only ate breakfast in the hot... Read more

I travel to Paris often and really love this hotel--it is beautiful, rooms are nice, food is good. However, for someone who is a repeat guest I dont really get the feeling that my business is appreciated nor am I welcomed as a valued customer. And I wont use the cop-out of "French snobbiness"--I lived in France for over 20 years, speak the language fluently and have from time to time stayed in other hotels in Paris where the service was lovely.

When I reserved this hotel I made the mistake of trusting some of the reviews rather than my experience with other known hotels that I have used in Paris. Needless to say, this was the largest and only let down of our 3 week trip to Europe. We traveled with our 4 children and had requested and received email confirmation of adjoining rooms but upon our arrival were notified that that would not be the case. Within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and the Park Monceau across the street it is ideally situated. The Metro is 5 minutes away. For Art Deco fans this hotel really rates ! The rooms are fabulously black and gold and the Purple Bar is a must. The inclement weather allowed us to eat outside only once but the food and service were first class. Seems to be a popular conference hotel which is something of a shame for general tourists but there were no problems with "crowding" during our stay. Although near the Arc de Triomphe it is still a taxi journey to Gallery Lafayette or the more designer shops. We will be back !

Hanging (even hundreds) of Art Deco prints on the wall and painting Art Deco motifs on the elevator doors does not make a hotel an Art Deco palace. There's probably a connection to the actual convention which gave the artistic genre its name, but it seemed a stretch to me. The hotel must have been something in its heyday thirty years ago, but the sheen is fading fast. It took five hours for my AC to cool the room by one-half of one degree Celsius.
